We found a pod of dolphins pretty quickly and had them following us for quite awhile. The manatee cove was empty, except for some jumping fish, so he took us out to a sandbar to look for sand dollars. While at the sandbar he spotted a manatee so we boarded the boat to get a closer look. All in all a great day on the water! I would highly recommend Captain Robin.

We were informed of upcoming sales prior to our equipment investments and they allowed us to try items before buying them to help us make decisions. They have an indoor pool and offered more than once for us to get in and check things out, which was very appreciated. There is a no cash return policy clearly stated at the register, which simply means that if something isn't right they will exchange the item or, if necessary, give store credit. We haven't needed to do either but are very comfortable with their policy. When considering training, decide if you would like to take the traditional group class or would like to pay a bit more for private training. My husband did his Open Water training here. Following that, we both took the Nitrox class with Charlie. We both agreed that Charlie explained information well, was thorough and kept the class moving forward at a good pace.

We were vacationing im FL and stopped in to ScubaQuest to see what they had in their shop. Brandon greeted us and was super helpful showing us the travel BCs they had and the pros and cons of each. We decided on the Oceanic Biolites due to their compact size and Brandon had both of the ones we wanted in stock. They were offering a couple of different package deals with BC, regulator, etc. Brandon went over each with us and explained the differences. We settled on the Aqualung due to the lifetime parts guarantee. The dive shop has a pool on site but it was being renovated. Brandon told us that typically customers can try out all gear in the pool before buying it. We didn't get to try out our new gear but Brandon assured us that if we had any issues, he'd help us out. We really liked this shop and would definitely go back in the future.

Our boat was damaged in IAN so i took it to Walkers for repair of Gelcoat, powdercoat and electronics connections. The repairs were supposedly completed 6 weeks later. I showed up late in the day to pick up the boat by water. The boat was absolutely filthy even though I was told it was washed. The electronics were not repaired, the powder coat repairs were further gouged and scuffed by the "cleaning" crew. I reached out to Kim the service manager with no replies. I then spoke with management who assured me they would come to my home for the repairs which never happened. I was forced to hire another company at my cost. I disputed the charges by walkers with Capital One to no avail because walkers argued it. They are dishonest and it was theft in my opinion. NEVER USE WALKERS!!

Every time I talked to Tom, it was like I was bothering him. The response to it not selling -- its filthy and the market is no good. I even offered to pay to have it cleaned. He said if you do it on our lot -- we will up charge you even though we have no one to clean it. The only option is to to lower the price or remove it from our lot. I wouldn't do any business with them on any level. They are the worst dealership in southwest Florida.

We found a few boat rental places but Cape Coral Boat Rentals was the only place that allows one day or half day rentals. My son called and spoke with Doug and found out our options and requirements. My son had his boaters license from Michigan, but decided to get certified online from Florida, plus it was a refresher for him. Once we arrived the boat was in the water and ready for us to go. My son went inside the store and filled out paperwork and was given all the relevant information from Doug. He said Doug was very thorough and let him know about the shallow areas and what to watch out for. We had a great half day on the boat and Doug was waiting at the dock when we came back. After job was completed, in January of this year, I have called their office 5 times requesting an invoice for the work done that I need for my insurance company for my claim. To this day, nothing. It is not difficult to send an invoice via email, when you call the office Haley tells you she leaves a note their desk and it will be done. Nope....the sad part of it is, they are the only company in the area that does this work....otherwise, would definitely go elsewhere.....just keep this in mind when you do business with them, as even the installers tell you how unorganized and in such disaray their office management is lacking. Seats have splits with stuffing coming out, most of the access hatches had broken hinges, the throttles were in serious need of adjusting, the motor would randomly rev itself while in neutral, the "stereo didn't work" which in fact is the speaker wiring that looks to have burnt, the damn boat wouldn't go faster than 10 knots, they must have placed a governor to minimize speed, the horn didn't work so they put an air horn in the safety box, an airhorn I removed from the package, assembled as necessary and placed at the helm incase a situation should arise where I would need it, can you believe the bonehead at the dock called me out for having it out of the safety box, are you freaking serious? The operation of this place is an absolute joke, no one wants to take any responsibility for the problems we encountered, the knucklehead working the dock couldn't even provide me the number for his boss, he had to go look "Juan's" number up, I'm guessing it's a dead end number. I will be filing a complaint with my credit card company and the USCG for this fraudulent operation. Read the fine print in their rules/regs, there is NO situation where you will get a refund, NEVER!! They cancel your reservation if you don't pick up within an hour of your reserve time and hold you accountable for any slight deviation from their policies BUT don't dare expect them to adhere to any regulations they're expected to. EVERY SINGLE PIECE OF USCG REQUIRED EQUIPMENT ON BOARD THE VESSEL WAS EXPIRED SINCE MAY 2022, a violation I would be held accountable for had I been stopped and to worsen the situation my USCG active duty son was aboard this vessel, he'll be the individual addressing the MANY safety regulations they are violating as we noted SEVERAL on ALL OF THEIR VESSELS. I would strongly recommend you look for a responsible company, not a derelict fleet of boats that may or may not provide a safe and enjoyable boating situation, this is NOT that company. The owner operator is a former CEO from Chicago originally from an eastern block country. Rude and abrasive. Shyster best describes him. We cancelled. Put the matter in dispute and he objected. We are out $4100 and this guy walks. Do not do business with this company. Unbelievably negative experience. Go down the road to St. Pete or Charlotte Harbor Sailing LLC. Phil ended up being our instructor for sailing classes at Charlotte Harbor. This company is the worst sailing experience. Do no charter with them!

The reservation, pick up and drop off all went off without a hitch, the sailing cat we had for the week was well maintained and just as expected. They also had some great personal touches that we have not encountered with other charter companies ....and my friends are still raving. I love the area, and cannot imagine dealing with anyone else! I also hear they have a new cat or two about to be added to the fleet, which we would be excited to check out next time!
