Thank you for all the staff that's either hired to work or volunteer to bring the Military and their family food and drinks and a place to rest and hang out. The only problem that I have with the USO is that it's not open to all Military status. I spent almost 10 years in the United States Marine Corps, purple heart recipient with a honorable discharge and 100% service connected disability. Yet, I'm not allowed to go there because you need to be either Active Duty, Reserve, or Full Term Retirees. So instead of having that REAL veteran who served in combat and got hurt, they'll have that 2-4 maybe even 8 years service member who never deployed or never even left the country plus their spouse and 3 kids and/or pets enjoy the comfort and accessibility to the facility while others keep out. So either make the USO open to all Military status or provide another facility.
