Edit: When I returned with less than three hours until my flight, the second receptionist was more rude than the first. I didn't even get finished scanning my pass before she rudely asked what time my flight was...I responded by saying that I know she needed to see my boarding pass. Her response was that she didn't ask for it but asked what time my flight was. If you get to the airport early, don't plan to use the club. They strictly enforce the three hour rule they claim is easily visible on their site. As an FYI, it's not. You won't see their 3 hour rule by clicking "our policies" nor do you see it on any page before you make the purchase and it's not on the pass you get after paying. The only place you see it is when you navigate through the app to your Passes. There they have the rule listed. But, you won't see it unless you hunt for it. So, save yourself the hassle, don't event attempt to show up a single minute early. The receptionist made a point of rudely telling me the exact minute I would be granted access. I think that what really gets me here is that these clubs are designed to make the trip less stressful and more comfortable. The attitude of the staff I encountered was anything but!!! read more

They offer a large self-serve food bar with hot and cold items that is continually being refreshed. For beverages, they have an epic soda and coffee machines along with a full bar. You don't always have a lot of options with UC (united club), but I have to say this is one of the cleaner and nicer clubs we've been in. Surprisingly little find in the MSY airport. We didn't suspect United to have a lounge here, as it's not one of their hubs, nor do they have many flights going out. But sure glad we found it! Furniture was clean, and actually the entire place was spotless and seemed brand new. But when I checked the Yelp reviews, they've already been open for a few years!!! Impressive. Because there are fewer flights out of MSY, you can definitely feel that there's less foot traffic here, in a good way. The whole lounge is just still put together nicely. Food was standard like every other united lounge, but wow the staff was exceptional. They were quick to clean, and so friendly and professional too. This new United Club is a hidden gem at NOLAs beautiful new terminal. The entrance is understated just before United gate C9 and Starbucks on the right. You can either take the stairs or elevator down one floor. The club is surprisingly large with nice bar area, hot food bar, plenty of comfortable chairs with USB and electric. A few private rooms, bathrooms and more. Enjoy! read more

The food spread is amazing with Louisiana Crawfish Etouffee & rice, green beans almandine, cheese tortellini, sliced Turkey and fixings for sandwiches, veggie lavash, a full salad bar, bbq chicken sliders, pita chips and dip, a variety of deserts and drinks - astounding and tasty. Located near gate C7. This is a typical United Club, with comfortable chairs, food to snack on, decent coffee, a full bar, clean restrooms, and courteous staff. There is one difference... As is fitting of a club in New Orleans, this one has muffuletta sandwiches!!! I hope this is a permanent thing here. read more

This is a new and fresh United Club. Five stars go first to the enthusiasm offered by the staff of this Club. They also offered some hot dishes which you do not typically see these days. I also appreciate that United seemingly has expanded their Clubs to non-hub cities which may make them unique amongst the legacy carriers. The Club is downstairs so you do not have the typically club views, but the opening enthusiasm made up for it in this case. read more

We had some time to kill before our flight and I'm glad we found this lounge as it's the best United Club I've been to. we visited midday on a Wednesday and there was only a handful of other customers but it filled up a bit by the time we left. Food selection was the the typical serve yourself fruit, sandwiches, deli meats, cheese, etc, along with a few hot dishes. Drink selection consisted of a few craft and local beers in bottles and on tap along with a good selection of liquor (top shelf liquor available for purchase). Everybody working was super friendly, especially the two bartenders who provided some great conversation and insights about the area. read more

I was quietly reading when an employee, whose position was unclear, loudly embarrassed me by accusing me of putting my foot on the furniture. My foot was not on the furniture at all: I was simply wearing a long dress that obscured her view of my legs. (I'm not sure why she needed to see my legs anyway...) Her tone was condescending, and I did not appreciate the fact that she accused me of exhibiting poor manners while everyone around me turned to gawk. The atmosphere was rude and unbecoming, and, when I let the front desk agent know what had happened, she was polite enough but unapologetic. Meanwhile, a toddler in tennis shoes was literally standing on a chair, and no one felt the need to humiliate her or her mother. read more
