(be careful, you will miss the narrow driveway...) Once there... Greg will contact you... describe the procedure... and take the keys and your vehicle into his shop... You (hopefully) have a friend/significant other to drive another vehicle to wait nearly two hours while this gentleman does his artwork... Outside his business, one can see a smoke-belching chimney on a cold wintry day... inside the workplace, I can imagine a blazing pot-belly stove creating interior balmy temperatures... There, an endless supply of freshly-made buttermilk flapjacks are being slung onto stately and shiny glass plates... completely drenched in maple syrup (from Vermont!), feeding his hungry customers... while they wait for their vehicles... (Not...) Mr Kelley is professional, thorough, warm, down-to-earth and pleasant to speak with... He details exactly what his work entails... what materials he utilizes... His work is top notch... his prices are more than fair... (He was recommended by the Vermont Quick Lube people in Barre)... It is easy to see why... both of these businesses exude "service with a smile"... Back to G K Auto Detailing... Greg completely undercoated my two vehicles with a protective surface against loose road salt and other contaminants... I want my vehicles to last quite a while... This will now be a yearly renewal process... and Mr Kelley will be tasked to do precisely this... Additionally, in just several short weeks, I will employ Greg with detailing the exterior and interior of my vehicles... I want his attention and expert energies directed exclusively to my vehicles... I must say the following: He is not a detailer... He is an artist... My best advice: STAY AWAY FROM THIS HELL-HOLE, The White River Car Wash…read more Fortunately, there is a brand new car wash, soon to open, called The Station Car Wash, two parcels away from the hell-hole, The White River Car Wash The feeble old man who pretends to manage The White River Car Wash is a train-wreck, useless!; this man is mechanically and functionally incompetent. The White River Car Wash is the consummate dispenser of deception. $18.00 for a basic, (make believe) high pressure water car wash, which is useless. Many components of the car wash equipment do not work. The self-service car washes are archaic, like the useless old man who pretends to manage this place, the dials on the control head don't work, the White River Car Wash charges $6.00 for a 4 minute car wash, 2 of the 4 minutes are wasted, waiting for the hoses to prime (larceny!), and the water is so hard, that it will leave your car with grossly visible water stains. The first self-service car wash bay does not work, there is no sign that it is out of service, nor a cone, blocking the car wash bay; it looks like this bay has been out of service for a long time. 3 out of 4 vending machines in the vending machine room are marked Out of Service. In my opinion, the owner of the White River Car Wash, has an unwavering level of dedication to taking money from his/her customers, and not delivering the advertised product or service. I am told that The Station Car Wash, practically, next door to the White River Car Wash, is within a few weeks of opening. Unfortunately, the Upper Valley is robust in awful car washes, and very expensive car washes. Best you wait for rain to clean your car, and hope that The Station Car Wash will deliver a good product (at a reasonable price (unlike Lady Rich Express Car Wash in West Lebanon, NH), when it opens.
