Jake's Car Wash options & prices, from their website. They've since added a 4th option.

Jake's is the only place within half an hour that does what a touchless car wash is supposed to do. You pay the machine & it gives your car a warm shower. Prices are fairly reasonable for the area, the cycle times are a few minutes, and the dryers actually dry. I usually get the second-cheapest option, and it gets the grime off. Minus 1 star for the slightly inflated price and the looong lines on nice days. But it is a bit of a car-wash wasteland around here. There's automated places & detailers, and nothing in between. Jakes is the most convenient, best maintained, and most consistent option.

Streaks from the foam wax treatment

Not a car WASH! My car actually came out dirtier than when I drove in. The wax just streaked and blotched down the side of the car.

Fair prices, package deals and assistance Monday through Friday. The line moves quickly. No U-Haul section that I noticed.

Line always too long. The way the line goes into a U-Haul section is annoying and not at all necessary.

Worse car wash I've ever used. Tried three times, all three the truck was dirty after. Never again.

The White River Car Wash is the consummate dispenser of deception. $18.00 for a basic, (make believe) high pressure water car wash, which is useless. Many components of the car wash equipment do not work. The self-service car washes are archaic, like the useless old man who pretends to manage this place, the dials on the control head don't work, the White River Car Wash charges $6.00 for a 4 minute car wash, 2 of the 4 minutes are wasted, waiting for the hoses to prime (larceny!), and the water is so hard, that it will leave your car with grossly visible water stains. The first self-service car wash bay does not work, there is no sign that it is out of service, nor a cone, blocking the car wash bay; it looks like this bay has been out of service for a long time. 3 out of 4 vending machines in the vending machine room are marked Out of Service. In my opinion, the owner of the White River Car Wash, has an unwavering level of dedication to taking money from his/her customers, and not delivering the advertised product or service. I am told that The Station Car Wash, practically, next door to the White River Car Wash, is within a few weeks of opening. Unfortunately, the Upper Valley is robust in awful car washes, and very expensive car washes. Best you wait for rain to clean your car, and hope that The Station Car Wash will deliver a good product (at a reasonable price (unlike Lady Rich Express Car Wash in West Lebanon, NH), when it opens.

Talked to Josh a bit and asked him to put the truck up on the lift so I could check for any rust spots before he sprayed. All I can say is WOW there wasn't a spec of rust anywhere on the undercarage to be found ,beleive me I looked. I could not friggin believe how clean that undercarage looked. I don't impress easily but I was floored how good it looked under there . My only regret was not taking a picture to show everyone on yelp. Ct is brutal with the deiceing mixture they put on the roads in the winter.and it will rust out your vehicle in no time. Ok so it was another $150 bucks but SOOOO WORTH IT. I tend to keep my vehicles a long time /or until they rust out ,but it looks like I'll be keeping the Tundra forever if I keep on getting it Krowned a Gillys. Only side note is ,that when Josh sprays some of the oily film can get on your car. just tell them to wash the windows only and take it to the nearest car wash to blast the film off Josh and Heather a BIG THANK YOU for doing such a great job.Hugs to Lacey and her crazy little brother (Labs). We were short on time, so we called Gilly's, the closest auto repair shop according to Google, to see if they might be able to take us in right then so we could try to make it to our show in time. Though he had cars on his lifts and it was bad timing, he told us he could at least put the car up on a jack and take a peek. We drove (very slowly) the few miles there, and when we arrived he had started taking one of the cars off the lift so he could put our car on. He quickly assessed the problem, came up with a solution that would get us safely to Boston and back, and got us back on the road for $32! Not only that, but about a half hour after we left, when they were supposed to already be closed, the woman at the front desk called us back to make sure the car wasn't making any more noises and that we were safe! We made it to Boston in time for the show and highly recommend Gilly's to anyone. We feel so lucky to have stumbled upon such an honest business run by kind people in our hour of need!

I did my homework and started my vehicle hunt two weeks before my purchase. I visited five different dealerships on-line comparing vehicles and prices in both NH and VT. I received a great price offer from a dealer in NH and I was pretty sure I was going to purchase that vehicle but I thought I would try White River to see what they could offer. After a quick and easy volley of emails and one or two telephone calls I made an appointment to meet With Alexis. It's great when you get what you want for a price that you believe is reasonable. There were no gimmicks or hidden surprises. Alexis made it easy. So, thank you Alexis and thank you White River Toyota. On the day of the appointment, my car wasn't fully serviced when I picked it up. I still don't know why many of the requested services were skipped--I was only given a final sheet listing a few completed items. Was the shop busy that day? Do you usually assume that customers want to pay as little as possible? Or did someone just decide by appearance that I wouldn't be able to afford the full service? (I'm a proud Native American, by the way.) Or were some of those services considered unnecessary at the time? Overall--I'm still gonna wonder, why? I didn't report or argue about it at the office afterward. I was on medical leave at the time and dealing with a lot of pain, so I didn't have the energy to handle the inconvenience on top of everything else. Despite this, the shop still did a good job--my car drives noticeably smoother after this partially disappointing service. (I can only imagine how great it could have been if the full maintenance had been completed.) I've been loyal to Toyota for a long time in my homeCountry, but honestly, this first maintenance experience has completely ruined my US-Toyota impression. It added up to my very first experience with this same branch, where I waited months to receive the spare key included in my car purchase. No one contacted me for months, and when I finally reached out, the office said they had simply "forgotten" to cut it.

The staff here is remarkably accommodating; they handled my specific requests for tire/wheel placement without hesitation. While waiting, I actually enjoyed sitting outside in the sun rather than a cramped waiting room, and ended up having a great conversation with the team about local overlanding and trails. Most importantly, their inspection sheet clearly indicated that they verified and torqued every lug nut to spec. As someone who usually feels the need to re-check torque after visiting a shop, this was the first time I felt total peace of mind heading home. If you prefer "fancy" workers in suits and overpriced "free" coffee from a dingy old coffee pod machine while getting charged dealership premiums, go elsewhere. But if you want quality work done by down-to-earth people who treat you like a human rather than a target for upselling, give this place a go. 10/10 experience.
