The touch free wash works fine! I've gone a couple times now. It won't scratch your paint like other drive through car washes do. The self service wash stations may not always work consistently. Fortunately, there is a brand new car wash, soon to open, called The Station Car Wash, two parcels away from the hell-hole, The White River Car Wash The feeble old man who pretends to manage The White River Car Wash is a train-wreck, useless!; this man is mechanically and functionally incompetent. The White River Car Wash is the consummate dispenser of deception. $18.00 for a basic, (make believe) high pressure water car wash, which is useless. Many components of the car wash equipment do not work. The self-service car washes are archaic, like the useless old man who pretends to manage this place, the dials on the control head don't work, the White River Car Wash charges $6.00 for a 4 minute car wash, 2 of the 4 minutes are wasted, waiting for the hoses to prime (larceny!), and the water is so hard, that it will leave your car with grossly visible water stains. The first self-service car wash bay does not work, there is no sign that it is out of service, nor a cone, blocking the car wash bay; it looks like this bay has been out of service for a long time. 3 out of 4 vending machines in the vending machine room are marked Out of Service. In my opinion, the owner of the White River Car Wash, has an unwavering level of dedication to taking money from his/her customers, and not delivering the advertised product or service. I am told that The Station Car Wash, practically, next door to the White River Car Wash, is within a few weeks of opening. Unfortunately, the Upper Valley is robust in awful car washes, and very expensive car washes. Best you wait for rain to clean your car, and hope that The Station Car Wash will deliver a good product (at a reasonable price (unlike Lady Rich Express Car Wash in West Lebanon, NH), when it opens. read more

I paid $22 for a "deluxe" wash in WRJ last week and exited the machine with the same cat prints and coffee drip stains that were on the car when I went in. In addition, the undercarriage wash didn't work at all, the button for the $20 wash was broken, and the stoplight inside the machine did not turn on. I want my money back! read more

There are no prices posted for manual washing bays, so as a FYI, it costs about $8.50 for 6 minutes of using the spray gun. Maybe someone else can do a soapy wash/rinse/conditioner faster, but if you add another minute or two, you're right at the price for an automated wash. I usually use the self cleaning bays To wash my rig i've never had a problem and they work wonderfully But the last time I went in. I used my debit card. Once the timer ran out. I was about 3/4 of the way through of washing my rig so I had to use my debit card again. Once I was finished washing my rig I went and hit the stop button It said minimum time not met. Meaning that I had not used my 5 minutes. Minimum for the wash. After checking my Bank transactions. I was charged $20 For the first time. But it also charged me $20 for the second time. I paid for the service which was more expensive than most places, but was so disappointed in the quality. When I got out to look at my car, I was amazed by how dirty the front still was. I went to this car wash with the intent of using the self serve bay. I was not aware that there was the ability to pay using a credit card in the bay. I stopped at the cash machine which posted the ability to cash a $10 bill for quarters. I only got $4 in quarters. I tried to find someone on site and the door was locked and there was no answer to a knock. I called 3 times over the course of subsequent days and left messages and I NEVER HEARD BACK!! While the automated wash is good (I've used it many times over the years), the ability to troubleshoot a problem with NO ONE on site is deplorable. At least respond to a phone message! After the wash and all other treatments (I paid for the top set of treatments) there remained areas of the rear window that were not cleaned at all from their condition before the car wash and a very large number of dirt spots all over the car body. The wash removed most of the dirt and salt and other stuff but left hundreds of little islands of dirt. The wash also did not removed bugs and other debris on the windshield. This place gives me the creeps. The equipment is poorly maintained -- the exit bay door closes in the middle of the cycle for no reason, the lights on the credit card machine don't work, the nozzles are clogged, etc. I can't help but think about what would happen if the doors didn't open or the giant robot malfunctioned, with no attendant around and weak cell reception, etc... So I guess it's a great place to go if you have an active imagination and like horror movies. :D We really need other options in the Upper Valley. read more

Honestly, I don't think I got all the cycles I paid for. I got the "Works Plus" package that is supposed a have a TWO pass hot wash. I got only one. It's also supposed to scrub your tire rims. It didn't. I could feel it happening in the past. Not this time. And you can tell it didn't happen by looking at the rims. A simple swipe of the finger shows the rims never got touched. Then there's the multi-colored foam they apply. You can plainly see that some nozzles aren't working. And the result? Lots of dirt and streaks left behind. Not worth it. read more

I wanted to love the p[lace because it's well reviewed, conveniently located, clean, and well-maintained. The only thing is, it didn't get my truck clean. I took my Toyota Tundra through the fully automatic brushless wash and paid something like $15 for "the works." I got about a five minute ride complete with all the bells and whistled, and all kinds of brightly colored products getting sprayed all over the place. Cool! The only problem is that it didn't get the vehicle clean. The bugs were still all over the grill (I wiped them off with a damp cloth), and the little peace sign someone had traced in the dust on the tailgate was still there. Not a complete waste of $15, but not far off. It's too bad because as I said, it looks, feels, and seems like a nice, well-run operation. Nice place not as bad as reviews. I would recommend using the self wash and not the automatic. The automatic no touch washer will not remove bugs, grease, etc. The stalls are clean, work, and cared for. Lastly, the vacuums are clean and work efficiently. read more

On Friday, September 25, 2020, I went to the car wash. I have gone there multiple times this year. Today was a little different. I watched the car in front of me being washed. I could see that it was not doing a decent job. I went into the wash and immediately knew something was wrong BIG time~! As it started the sprayer sprayed down on the concrete out of three holes, It did not spray the front of my car. Then went it went over my car it hardly sprayed any liquid on my car. When the soap was applied it was the same deal, no soaping the front and hardly any soap on the windshield and the top of my car. When it air-dried my vehicle it blue part of my windshield wiper out the door, which I had to retrieve. I found the attendant, who was talking on the phone, and told him what had happened. I showed him the soap that had built up on the concrete. He watches the next car and agrees that it was not spraying the front of the vehicles. He then walks off without saying a word. I was being persistent and wanted an answer, at least an apology. He went into the office as I waited outside in my vehicle. He then SLAMS the door shut and locked the door. I knocked very loudly several times. I then got into my car and drove around the building and found him standing in the first wash stall. I motioned to him that I wanted to talk to him. He got extremely angry at me and when I asked who the owner was and a phone number that I could call he yelled at me and said that I was not going to call anyone. He said, "I told you that I would give you another car wash~!" If he said that it was under his breath. I told him that he was getting mad at me for no reason. He never apologized, nor, made any attempt to make me happy. I hope the owner sees this and realizes that this type of behavior is bad for business~!!
