10/10 would recommend!!! I discovered it at a trivia night at Reaver's Beach Norfolk and I'm really glad I did. They have a wide array of Filipino food, I got the lumpia and pancit and it was actually pretty good! You get to enjoy some Filipino food with some of brewery's good selection of beers! For a small business, they're amazing! Their service is friendly, efficient and you just innately just want to support them as soon you see them. While you're in the brewery enjoying a drink, they'll bring it to you ASAP. Idk where else they do business, but they have a deal with Reaver's Beach Norfolk to provide food every 2nd and 4th Wednesday for their trivia! So get Filipino food, drinks and do some trivia!

Wow SOOOOO good. The adobo fries were delicious!! As you can see, it is a large load of fries with sauce, adobo chicken, and green onions. They also add spam chunks, which is genius. It all goes so well together. I truly loved this fusion. The empanadas were also yummy. They had a good crunch and the sauce was tasty. The staff were super chill. We checked them out at the Filipino Market that recently happened at the shopping complex across from Mt. Trashmore. Their electricity was having problems, so the fries took a long time to come out. That was really the only complaint. I would love to see them get a nice shop. The ambiance is outdoors, food truck kind of style.

Love taking my friends to try the food at Flippin' Hangry! I think they exemplify the perfect balance of modern twists to Filipino classics. Although not pictured, their adobo fries are to die for; of note, the fries are topped with crispy spam strips (delish!!!). And you can never go wrong with their classic pancit + lumpia combo (pictured). Did not disappoint! I totally recommend!!

If you're looking for something unique for lunch or dinner, look no further than Flippin Hangry. I, personally, believe they have the best Filipino food in the area. they are consistently outstanding. I've never had a meal with them that didn't leave me wanting to shout from the rooftop how amazing the meal was. My family and I LOVE their... -ginger chicken lumpia with their red sauce. The lumpia is incredible in its own, and doesn't need any sauce, but if you like to dip, you'll enjoy their red sweet and sour sauce. Even thought the lumpia are fried they're never greasy, and I'm convinced they use magic to achieve that. -pancit noodles. These are amazing by themselves but next level incredible when they top the noodles with their chicken adobo. -chicken adobo. I am not a huge meat eater but I'll never turn down Flippin Hangry chicken adobo. It has so much flavor, and somehow the perfect balance of sweet & salty, so it hits the spot every time. It's just...you need to try it! -fried rice. I am also not really a rice person, but again, I'll NEVER turn down Flippin Hangry fried rice. It is ALSO great with chicken adobo on top. Or, by itself. There's no wrong way to eat it. -they also make UBE cheesecakes. Typically at local markets (I find them at Reaver Beach in Norfolk often), they have mini UBE cheesecakes. If you see them, grab one!! But! You can order a whole UBE cheesecake too! The whole cheesecake Is now the official birthday cake replacement for my son. It is so creamy, the crust is perfect, and it's just the right amount of sweet. If you've never had UBE, this is a great way to experience it the first time. -macaroons. Their macaroons are another great treat. They offer plain, chocolate dipped, and our favorite, white chocolate UBE dipped. While you can find them around the Hampton Roads Area at different markets, breweries and events, they also offer catering services, & they also offer frozen lumpia. Ordering family meals is my family's favorite way to enjoy Flippin Hangry. It is also worth noting that I have a few food allergies that aren't super common, and they are always clear and communicative with me if I order something new. I know not all allergies can be accommodated but it's nice to be able to have a safe place where I can enjoy a great meal. The next time you're out & see their food stand, give them a shot. You'll almost always see a line, and it is always worth the wait. I cannot recommend Flippin Hangry enough. They're incredible and it's very clear they make their food with love.

While parking was a bit tricky, choosing Only at Renee's was 100% the right move! From the moment we walked in, the ambiance felt nostalgic yet fresh, blending traditional Filipino decor with modern touches. The restaurant was clean, welcoming, and had a wonderful sense of openness and community. As soon as we were seated, the staff kindly pointed out the restrooms and let us know that self-serve ice water and extra napkins were readily available in the center of the room. A special shoutout to Paulina and Xavier--they were exceptionally warm, friendly, and helpful throughout our meal! The menu offers an incredible variety. Next time, we'll know to order a bit less for our young kids--the portions were much larger than expected! I tried out the caldereta and the mechado (?). I liked both items but I found it too oily for my liking. The vegetables were stewed perfectly and the meat texture were nice and tender. I think had I visited earlier in the day, it may have had a less oily texture to it. The accompanying soup was super sour but acted as a perfect palate cleanser after the oily meals. The service was excellent-- friendly, patient, and helpful. You can pick and choose different entrees over rice or pancit. Similar to getting food from Panda Express. The inside of the restaurant has several family friendly seatings available and baked goods and market also. Lastly, parking is free and plentiful right across from the front entrance. If an out of area Filipino asked for a good place to eat, I wouldn't hesitate recommending them. I certainly wouldn't mind revisiting again in the future.

The hot dog had a nice sear around it, which gave it great flavor while keeping it juicy. Definitely one of my favorites! The chicken buns were good and had a unique sweet-and-savory flavor. They weren't my absolute favorite, but they were definitely not bad--just different from what I expected. I wasn't a huge fan of the ham and cheese, though.
