    Rice with 2 entrees ($12.99)

Food and serving size were good. They have a canteen style of dining where you grab a tray, point to the dish you want, pay and grab a table. Staff were also very nice. Take out prices were surprisingly more than Max's. The typical soup container is $21 for regular dishes and more for special ones like sisig. Max's dishes average at $18. So we just ate our lunch and left without ordering take out.

Stopped by later in the day (around 2pm) for a quick snack and was greeted by such a polite and positive personality. We asked questions about the different types of food and learned a lot. We don't usually get a chance to try Filipino food so it was nice to walk in here and see all of the different options. The prices are reasonable, and the lumpia is absolutely delicious. We cannot wait to come back and try the plates!

Yummy and simple filipino food! The place was extremely clean and they were so sweet! I loved the service and the food.

Salo Salo is one of my favorite places to get Filipino food. When you walk in the food smells amazing and food is delicious. The staff are friendly and very attentive.

Been a couple times but my parents frequent this location. Not a large selection of food; however, the food, service, and convenience is all great. Place is small but enough tables for lunch with a small dining area. My main go to for this location was the Carioca! By far the best that isn't homemade!

We were excited to check this place out for breakfast as the online menu shows Staple Filipino breakfast Topsilog, bangusilog, etc. BUT it's only served on Saturdays! We got there around 9am and whole array of main filipino dishes were already prepared so we just ordered Kalderita, dinuguan, sisig, fried bangus and sweet rice balls (not sure what it's called). Kalderita tasted authentic and was delicious. The sisig, however, tasted broiled and diced meat which the fat or pig ears should have been grilled not broiled; plus it was a bit bland I was looking for more kalamansi or a little kick of spiciness. Fried bangus was good which is really impossible to mess up. The Dinuguan was delicious too, has the right vinegar sourness to it; I bet Lola made it.The glutenous rice balls was the bomb though - delicious and sticky inside with caramelized brown sugar on the outside. The dining area was good in size and very clean. The right side next to the dining area has a small isle of Filipino groceries. The staff (Lola and Lolo in particular) in the dining area was super nice and very personable. I can't wait to taste the rest of the dishes next time but for lunch NOT breakfast time. Nonetheless, the experience was delightful and brought me back to a PI nostalgia.

Delicious Filipino home cooking. You can feel the love they put into the food. They give a good amount of rice, meat is tender, soup is flavorful, no complaints. Price is reasonable for what you get and you just feel at home when you eat there. Grab some dessert at Roela's bakery right next door, perfect date! Definitely coming back to eat here!

I'm not a Filipino food connoisseur but this food was delicious. I went in with no expectations. The establishment markets itself as a Filipino restaurant and grocery store. Don't expect lots of groceries and don't expect some fancy restaurant. This is more of a fast food takeout joint that happens to sell a few Asian pantry necessities. I got pancit and 2 entree options for $10. The servings were good and generous. The pancit had a lot of chicken inside which I was not expecting. The stir fried veggies were flavorful and each vegetable had the right crunch - no over cooked veggies here!! The second entree I had no idea what it was but it was just as delicious - minced pork with chunks of sweet potato and what I made out to be raisins. The best part of my meal was the $8 halo halo. This has been THE best halo halo I've had (I've unfortunately have not had the opportunity to try it in the Philippines. This particular cup consisted of a wide assortment of toppings - coconut, jack fruit, flan, ube, ube ice cream, various types of jellies. I will definitely be back next year when I'm in town again!!

The Philippines is one of my favorite places, and going to a Filipino restaurant is one of the ways I cope with not being able to visit as frequently as I would like. The couple that own the restaurant were very friendly, and we chatted for a bit. I picked up some take out of a mung bean stew, pork in coconut sauce, pancit, and turon. Turon is my favorite treat, a banana wrapped in a dough wrapper, and deep fried. All of the food was delicious, and fairly reasonably priced. There was a market there as well, and I picked up some banana ketchup.

Stopped by for Halo Halo and a few groceries while on vacation. Looking forward to trying more of their food next time in the area!

    Salo means "to share." So...Share-Share.

3.5 but rounding up to a 4. Salo means "to share," so the place literally means, "Share-Share." Typical fast casual Filipino dining... you literally get in line, choose your food cafeteria style, and pay. There's also one aisle of groceries - noodles, sauces, Filipino snacks. Random stuff. Food, very affordable - rice & one entree $4.99, rice with 2 entrees $5.99. They also have Pancit of course, and the very filling Filipino breakfast (huge) meals in the morning. You know we be eating rice alllllllllllll day. They also have typical Filipino desserts...turon, cassava, and I can't wait to dig in to this Flan tonight. Food is good, but service, even better. They're nice and fast. Get your salo-salo on!

I tried out the caldereta and the mechado (?). I liked both items but I found it too oily for my liking. The vegetables were stewed perfectly and the meat texture were nice and tender. I think had I visited earlier in the day, it may have had a less oily texture to it. The accompanying soup was super sour but acted as a perfect palate cleanser after the oily meals. The service was excellent-- friendly, patient, and helpful. You can pick and choose different entrees over rice or pancit. Similar to getting food from Panda Express. The inside of the restaurant has several family friendly seatings available and baked goods and market also. Lastly, parking is free and plentiful right across from the front entrance. If an out of area Filipino asked for a good place to eat, I wouldn't hesitate recommending them. I certainly wouldn't mind revisiting again in the future.

I chose menudo, pancit, pork belly, and lumpia with a side of sauce for about $15. The prices seemed pretty reasonable. The portions were decent also. The menudo was flavorful and filling the meat was tender but there were a few pieces with fat. The pancit was tasty. It wasn't heavy on vegetables, I wish there were more. The pork belly was crispy and I liked it, but a few pieces were over cooked and had an awkward burnt old flavor. I can't really explain it. But the taste caught me off guard. I enjoyed the lumpia. They had beef inside and went good with the sauce. Their sweet chili sauce is yellow, not like most that are orangeish red. But it was good. The staff was busy.
