My daughter has been coming here for over a year. We've tried other dance studios/gyms and this was the best out of the 3 we tried. One dance studio (not Fliptastic), they completely forgot they had a class with no teacher and we waited there for 30 minutes for an instructor to show up, they also forced the parents to only shop their overpriced store (expensive but poorly run), another gym (not fliptastic) had an instructor who physically manhandled my child. It is challenging to find a good place. At fliptastic, they never forgot that they have a class, even when my daughter's the only one that day. They're consistent with having instructors and the instructors do their best to guide the kids. They respect boundaries and have never tried to touch my child in an inappropriate manner. I can't believe I even have to say that but here we are. They also don't force you to buy certain products or try to up-charge you to buy things that aren't necessary. I appreciate fliptastc. It's been a very smooth 1-2 years there. They have great recitals and additional things like parties for the kids. It's a good environment. read more

I was recently at this gym while watching a family friend's child in class, and I was really disappointed by what I overheard. Several staff members were openly gossiping and body-shaming another coworker. It was uncomfortable to hear, especially in a place where kids and parents are present. This kind of behavior creates an unprofessional and toxic environment. I hope management becomes aware of this and takes steps to make sure the workplace and classes stay positive and respectful for both employees and families. I wouldn't normally leave a review on this, but because it a majority of the coaches and staff it raised a cause for concern. It is never okay to talk about people in such a way. read more

We recently re-enrolled our kids in Jungle gym 1 & 2 after taking some time off for family reasons and we are even more pleased with Fliptastic than the first time! The communication about enrollment is excellent especially with Patrick. Any question we've had was answered promptly. The coaches are great as well specifically Coach K and Coach Natalie. Fliptastic is just that - fliptastic! We have been taking our daughter here for a little over a month now and she loves it! She is in the Jungle 4 and it is a great active 45 minute class! She is usually exhausted and sweaty by the end! Teachers are friendly and patient. They have different classes for different age groups to fit any schedule! They also offer a class called Little Ninjas. They have different size trampolines and gymnastics activities set up that helps get them ready to advance onto the next class. Masks are required and they only allow 1 parent per child inside currently. They spray hand sanitizer on the kid's feet and hands before each class as well. Owner puts in place an unsafe exit policy forcing families to enter in the front but exit the back of the building in an alley to walk around the large building to their car located in the front. It makes no sense and does not work for families who have kids older than 6 and younger than 5. He will not compromise for families. When I let him know my concerns he stated "sorry you feel this way" Part of owning a business focused on kids is caring for your customers which he lacks. We have moved to a new gym where my kids are learning way more and we can enter and exit the building in a normal way. read more

Ms. Natalie is so special. Last summer I was trying to find the right class for my 5 year old who is fun and energetic. I wanted her in something that gave her more body confidence because she was always nervous at playground always questioning if she can do something etc. we looked around for the right class and all of them were not a good fit until we trialed a class at fliptastic with Ms. Natalie, she immediately made a connection with Ms. Natalie as she is so attentive and smiled lots and gives great positive feedback. They are a bit far for us to drive and many times hard to find classes for both kids at the same time but when we do we hop on. I have to say i was highly disappointed with the owner denying a free trial class because my daughter did a free trial class in June 2021; almost two years ago and for an entirely different class. He did offer to charge me $26 for a drop in class though. Apparently a free trial class was going to break the bank. I will never recommend this place to anyone. My 2 kids started on a couple of their classes. They are happy and enjoying their achievements which is good enough for me. The staff seem busy keeping everyone on track but the majorityof them are nice, smiling and greeting. The one thing I really don't like is that till now they are still not allowing parents to go in and watch their kids and observing their progress if kids are older than 6 years old. The facility is big and allowing one parent with masks on shouldn't be a problem, however, they still want to wait on that till October. This place is just unprofessional, old and musty. It always looks filthy, like they don't clean their floors and their bathroom is repulsive. One of their toilets has been out of order for a month now, and it probably won't be fixed anytime soon. It's their ADA stall, so it's probably illegal for them to let this go so long. They also do not have seat covers and the stall floors are dirty. Both of the soap dispensers in the bathroom are broken, so after using their filthy facilities, you can't properly wash your hands. The teaching staff is nice, but they are NOT gymnastics coaches. Most of them are high schoolers or college kids that need a job and a lot do not have any gymnasts experience. The baby class teacher is sweet, but she spends more time talking to the parents during class than actually watching the little ones. One of their teachers left and they didn't have a sub for her and I had to go and ask the staff who was going to be teaching class and no one knew. They finally pulled a teacher away from another class to cover it. The desk staff always seems grumpy and irritated that you are bothering them. They also do not address the parents who leave food trash on the tables and let their children run wild. If you want your child to look learn basic gymnastics skills or socialization, this place isn't bad, but for regular artistic gymnastics, I would suggest looking for another gym. read more

This review is for their birthday parties only. We live nearby this place and I've been curious about it for classes for my little one. That said, her 4th birthday was quickly approaching and since half of her life has been during Covid, we wanted to finally throw her a true birthday PARTY. However, with a newborn at home, the idea of having to do a lot of the planning on my own was not appealing to me. Enter Fliptastic. I dropped by to take a look at the venue and it was so spacious and clean and the equipment looked so nice that I was immediately sold. The price for birthday packages was more than reasonable and the staff and owner are so helpful and communicative every step of the way--including helping me figure out how much pizza to order (which for a newbie mom like myself was HUGE). They also offer discounts on pizza if you want to have food provided at your party. Coach Kaitlyn was magic--she remembered all the kids names immediately and was able to get 13 four year olds to listen and follow directions--several parents mentioned that their minds were blown. The activities were great. All the parents had to do was hold their kid's water bottle (remember to bring one! The amount of jumping that will be done will necessitate rehydration at some point!) and enjoy and take photos of the kids having a BLAST. The screams and giggles said it all. PLUS parents can get out there and play as well!! After taking you through a circuit of 4 different activities, you are led to the party room where the staff have already brought in any of your decorations and food and drinks and everyone has a chance to eat, sing happy birthday, and have cupcakes (which are included in the party package!). Coach Kaitlyn was wonderful at pacing everything and keeping things moving along. Plus your birthday kid is going to feel pretty special during the party (they get to lead the group through the activities, and some other cute things). If you get the first time slot of the day (11-12:45) I guarantee the kids will be worn out enough to take a nap afterwards! Ladies, I don't know if you're as competitive as I am about trying to be "super-mom", but after the party, I seriously felt like I had "won" at throwing a birthday party (nice venue, fun and unique activity, flawless execution by seasoned staff). Visited and participated in the phenominal, well orchestrated fun activities for my three year old great nephew's birthday party a few weeks ago and needed to let you know, if you want an action packed, detailed, well supervised, safe and fun birthday experience-this is the place to book your birthday party! Fliptastic has been opened for several years and is mainly a training and teaching gymnastics facility that is booked for birthday parties and events. The facility is huge and while our group (kids AND several parents!) went thru approximately an hour and a half of about four activities there were perhaps one or two 1:1 trainings being held at opposite sides of our group. Several leveled benches were strategically located on two sides of the room so spectators could watch the actiities or trainings happening. No one is allowed into the area unless going thru a security check in at the front which is great. My girls got invited here for a birthday party about two months before their birthday, so guess where they wanted to have their party?? I looked into the party packages and found that for a 90-minute hosted party, your choice of gymnastics or hip-hop (where they learn a dance and get a cd of the song they danced to as a favor), for 15 kids with cupcakes, drinks, and balloons, it's only $200! That's a great price, so I booked their party right away. Things could not have gone smoother- the staff at Fliptastic makes everything so easy. Basically you show up, sign the waiver, and release your children to them for the next hour and a half. You're even able to drop them off and leave! My girls and their friends had a great time at Fliptastic, and I was sooo happy with both the price and the staff. They are so friendly and competent, I didn't have to do anything. You are even able to bring your own snacks and goody bags and they will set up the food and attach the goody bags to the balloons for you. Most places don't let you bring your own stuff but make you purchase theirs instead, so I appreciate the flexibility that Fliptastic gives parents (see what I did there?). Overall it was a wonderful experience at a super affordable price. I can't recommend this place enough for parents who are looking for a place to have their kids' birthdays, whether it's boys or girls. I needed something for my youngest boy that wasn't yet in preschool like his older brother. I am so happy I found Fliptastic. Fliptastic has plenty of parking and is easy to find. Fliptastic offers many, many classes to fit your schedule from morning until night. Fliptastic also makes enrolling super easy and they don't ding you if you don't make it to a class. They are super flexible and generous in allowing you to make up missed classes. And, the best part is that they make it affordable. They have discounts for those families who enroll beyond just one class or for those that have more than one child enrolled. A discount! No one else does that. They offer a program called Ninja for all ages and it is very different from the gymnastics/tumbling classes. I enrolled my LO into both and was worried that they would be too similar to each other. However, to my lovely delight, they are very different courses and my LO loves each class for different reasons. Now that my older son is out of school, he has tried out both the tumbling and Ninja classes and loved it! They, of course, will be taking the Ninja camp in July together. We had our daughters 3rd birthday party here and it was amazing! Coming from a mom who is in nursing school and has no time to plan a party, they took care of everything! All we had to do was bring pizza and party favors. They provide water for the kids, our kids used the water bottles provided during playtime instead of the drinking foundations since some were too small. I brought juice boxes for the pizza which worked out really well. Our age group was from 2-7 and everyone had tons of fun! My 3 year old might have been a little too young to follow everything but she went with it and had a blast. The owner made it very clear that the kids were not to play anywhere but where instructed. I had my daughter's birthday party there yesterday and it was a phenomenal experience. The birthday package includes playtime for 15 kids, cupcakes, waters for the kids, and table clothes, napkins and plates for the party room. Always noticing and commenting when my daughter is paying attention well, or picking up on a new skill. In general, this place seems to be helping my daughter learn to follow instruction, trust authority, and of course learn large motor skills through gymnastics. Aside from our weekly classes, I had an incredible experience today. My friend came to try out the class today with her son. She jumped on the trampoline wrong and hurt her knee and ankle. For ONLY $175 ($75 deposit and $100 paid at the conclusion of the party) we got an amazingly fun party for up to 15 children! Includes: Invitations, Thank you cards, One hour on the floor with the party coordinator/gym instructor (tons of fun, obstacle courses, trampolines, blow up bounce house, parachute), Party room rental for about 45 mins to 1 hour, 24 cupcakes in whatever flavor and color combination you want, Drinks for the kids, Tablecloths, plates, napkins (color coordinated, your choice). We had a small group of children, but the instructor had them all having a blast and just seeing all the kids having a good time and burning off kid energy was great. We were late in the planning stage game, so we were the evening party, but we didn't feel rushed to get out of the building and the leader of the kids through the different sections of the gym to the birthday party was keeping all of the kids active, under control and having fun. They made the process of the whole event very smooth from reservations to the actual event. Very reasonable for the price and taking the logistics away from a control freak parent (me, not my wife) was well worth it. We went to check out this new gym because we had heard people talking about it as the new gym in the area. Although we've been going somewhere else for gymnastics and dance, we decided to see for ourselves. It is supposed to be a brand new facility but when we walked in we got hit with a horrible smell of feet and sweat! The windows were filthy and it was all around gross. It took what felt like forever for anyone to even notice we were there. we finally got put in a class, and my child was just bored the whole time. The teacher did not seem to care about my child at all and was teaching way below her skill level. The summary? Unenthusiastic teachers and staff, unprofessional and poorly run facility. Our little guy has been going to "parent tot" classes here for several months. I heard about it from a friend who had moved her little guy there after trying several other gyms like Tricks etc. Fliptastic has several types of classes depending on age and skill level. The place is always busy with different groups of kids rotating around. We've had experiences with three different instructors (one drop in, our regular instructor, and a substitute). While the other instructors were good Ms. Amanda (our regular) is great! Not only does she have a great way with kids and a good repertoire of routines she also makes sure that she is talking to parents and kids throughout the class and sharing some of the "why" and "what this is really developing" information. For the parent - tot class parents go through a series of activities with their little guys, so be prepared and wear comfy clothes and shoes. you can get out of easily (no shoes in the main gym). And if you're pregnant or have back problems etc don't hop in the foam pit (your kiddo won't sink don't worry, the teachers can snag them for you). This place is clean, has a happy atmosphere, and the parent - tot class is engaging for the kiddos and parents. Some cons are that sometimes there is no one at the front desk so you might have to wait a few moments or don't worry about calling out to someone in the gym; additionally you'll want to be sure to regularly check the updated paper copy schedules at the front desk when you're there if you need to make up a class/change dates because the class schedules fluctuate a little to reflect attendance etc.. Pros: Great instructors, excellent customer service (everyone is very kind), good info/class content, clean and ever changing gym set up. Cons: Might have to wait a little if it's your first time and no one is at front desk, can be tricky finding someone on the phone (but they will always call you back). read more

Yea, big fan of this place. Two out of our three sons (aged 4 and 2) both go here and "LOVE" it. They have a variety of different classes and they will open up another class if you want another class at a certain time if there are others interested too. Miss Claire and Miss Amanda are great. They explain the exercise and also kind of explain (to the parents) why its good. The classes follow a similar routine so the kids know what to expect but there are small variations so the kids don't get bored. We had our 4 year old's birthday party here and it went well. They have a deal with Papa Johns for pizzas (? $8 for a large) but when we had too many, he actually took a couple back and used it for another party. The owner Patrick is very flexible and works with you. The other thing is if your kid misses a class, its up to you when you want to bring them back for a make up - kind of on an honor system. We usually will call ahead and make sure there is room in the class but rarely is the class actually full. read more
