What a TREAT ! Our Server "Israel" was efficient, polite and invisible. He is a tall guy but he did not block our view as he attended to our needs and requests. This was the first time we have viewed a big screen movie in this enviornment. Our Experience was exceptional! We watched the new "MANDO" movie which turned out to be delightful. This story is not retelling the original Star Wars saga. This one is the story of two friends trying to make a living as bounty hunters. The worst experience I have ever had at a movie theater!!! Staff was snotty and yelled at me.

Now, I've been to the Flix on the website and was excited to try the one here. They did a nice job remodeling the old High Ridge, but this one didn't seem as big as the other one. We came last Sunday to a special showing of the Great Gatsby (complete with mimosas). The whole place wasn't that crowded that day and there was plenty of parking. The menu isn't as extensive as the other Flix, so ended up going with the bacon breakfast tacos (two tacos with not a full size tortilla and delicious, crispy tater tots). Even with the spotlights on our food, it was a little hard to see what was on the plate in the dark. I like how movies are discounted on Wednesday's so will probably be back 2025 #39 read more

We sat at the bar before going into the movies and had a couple beers. At 10 o'clock in the morning that's not normally our style, but we decided, why not, it's Saturday. With a couple beers in our system, we went inside to watch the movie. Lots of laughs and the movie was great! With the beers, we broke the seal a little early and there are a mini bathroombreaks. Just the same we're able to enjoy the movie as well as the food that we ordered. The food was on point and the beers were cold! With the movie being over, we went back out to have a few more drinks because why not, it's almost 12. So now, with the decision to day drink, we continued our liquid journey and had a great time! Hey y'all! Looking for a movie night, maybe dinner, drinks and a show? Then look no further, Flix has got you! I want to let yall know, this place is not your standard movie theater. If you have a ticket, go to your seat, they will wait on you, no standing in line for popcorn! The hubby and I are horror fans and we went to this locations first brewfest, which was for "The Exorcist" There was some crafted drinks and a special menu. Now I have a weird food allergy of bell peppers, we informed our server, and they went to the kitchen and checked for all items on the special menu, and I was offered substitutions which were great. Our servers were amazing, they are attentive, personable and give great service. Plus, if there is a theme night, look for themed clothing! The drinks were well blended, and the special brew for the brewfest was mighty tasty. The food the pretty good, the pizza was good, but the crust was a touch doughy in the center for a thin crust. But this is me, hubby 100% loved it. Are you a pretzel fan? Try these and drip both the queso and the mustard, they are great! Seats are reclining and comfortable, having a table to put popcorn on is great! Like I said, Flix is the spot for a classic movie or a new release! (PS- "The Exorcist" .... EPIC HORROR!!) Very disappointing. I've seen more than one person complain about it being too dark to see the food. Apparently they don't have a system to see if customers want anything as the little lites don't seem to work. Seems like the c automatic 18% gratuity removes any incentive for servers to put any effort to earn a tip. I'd rather order my food and bring it in and refill my own drink than pay someone$10 to make me wait and not enjoy the movie due to frustration. And this was when it was less than 25% full can't imagine what it'd be like if it was full. read more

Great theatre. Good service and good beer, along with a good selection of food. The theatre was pretty cold but after i asked if they could adjust the AC, they were very accommodating. Probably also because we were the only ones at the early showing but it definitely made the experience better. read more

Love the theater! Love the food! Sound is way too loud though. Not just the previews, but the whole show. Everyone in our party had to wear earplugs. I know this can be controlled; I do not know why they do not do it. Century 24 has a perfect sound system. Such a shame for such a nice theater. I definitely would not bring children to this theater unless they wear sound controlling head phones! read more

The service was pretty great for the most part. The pretzel with cheese was the best thing we got. It was piping hot, and a good pretzel. The queso was okay. Not bad, nothing special either though. The original loaded fries that we added fajita steak to had potential, but overall, this was a disappointment. It was not even warm.....I was not going to wait to send it back so we ate it anyway. The other drawback to it was they barely put any steak on it. Charge me more than $4 extra if you are too cheap to put a solid amount of meat on it, IDC but if you are going to charge extra, put some meat on that thang! The 6 to 8 little steak pieces on there were a joke....The Popcorn was TERRIBLE. I was shocked because I was excited for some movie theatre popcorn! What we got was not even as good of popcorn as a bag of good ole Orville Redenbacher. Jolly time popcorn in a bag is 10x better than this popcorn! Not sure we'll be back, as the main reason I go to a movie is popcorn! Everything was clean though, no sticky floors, or seats with kernels in them! read more

Fun and good food. A bit confusing to find seats until you know where to look. Not cheap, but what is?

My boyfriend and I came to watch the new avatar. When we got to the theater we were met with really good vibes and a super clean environment. We got to the theater 30 minute early before the movie was supposed to start to order food, and the food took 40+ minutes which was frustrating; because we could barely see our food when eating. The seats were somewhat comfortable but towards the end they definitely started hurting both mine and my boyfriend is backs. To be fair the movie was 3 hours maybe i'm just getting old haha. Our waiter wasn't super friendly and just gave both of us weird vibes. We had asked about how to turn on the little lights on the tables connected to the seats, to one of the servers, and they shrugged their shoulders and walked away. As somebody who has been a server I just found that rude as hell. I had to ask for a refill 3 times before I actually got one. Our server came towards the end of the movie to give us the bill which was greatly appreciated, but gave my boyfriend a 100$ bill and me a 55$ bill when we're literally on the same bill... After getting that sorted out, I checked the bill and saw they charged us for two drinks. When we mentioned it at the end, a women said that we wouldn't be refunded immediately but to check on business days to make sure. It's just inconvenient I suppose. Maybe i'm being nit-picky. But personally id rather go to a restaurant, then icon because to me the experience is better. Also they require a 18% gratuity tip, and STILL have the audacity to ask for an additional tip LOL. Which is honestly crazy coming from someone who has served but oh well. read more

I want to give this place five stars, but ever since they've opened it is IMPOSSIBLE to buy tickets online or through the app. It always gives me an error, forcing me to call to reserve seats and pay later. The kicker is I can't even reserve the seats I want because the app has "reserved them" for someone else aka me trying to buy them online. Hated it. I received a gift card to this place for $20. I bought an advance ticket, which I had to drive to the theater to get since their website wasn't working for online ticket sales. Ticket was about $16. I got there, having no clue how the place worked. I wanted popcorn and finally learned I could just take my seat, and they would wait on me. Fine. I talked with the guy, ordered the popcorn and told him I had some money left on a gift card. He said he'd collect it later. I said fine. I ate my popcorn. The movie was loud as hell. And I mean, LOUD. I would have been just fine with ear plugs. It was loud enough to split an eardrum, or be an OSHA violation, or both. My clothing was literally moving during one particularly bass-heavy scene. (I imagine most people love that, but it's too much.) Then, to my utter amazement, the wait staff came by and tried to get me to settle up for my popcorn. When? During one of the most exciting scenes in the movie! I told them I would settle up later. After they slunk off, I put the gift card on the credit card tray they had left. Someone came by and took it. Then a bit later, another waitperson came by and tried to tell me I still owed $8 and change for my popcorn. Once again, this was during one of the most exciting and important parts of the film. I was incredulous. Is this normal at Flix??? It was ridiculous. I again told them to get out of my viewing area and that I would settle up later. When the noise finally ended (which it actually didn't, since the music was extremely loud as the credits rolled), I fled the theater and found someone I was able to settle up with. My bowl of popcorn cost $12.50, with an automatic 18% gratuity included. So I get to automatically pay a nice tip to the wait staff who interrupted the movie twice by getting in my face about a bill that THEY decided I should pay later. I would have been happy to settle up for it when I ordered it. I guess this place is popular? People can have it. I'd rather stream a movie at home, or go to another, "normal" theater. At least the volume will be slightly lower, and I won't have wait staff wandering around in front of my seat throughout the film. I fail to see the appeal of this franchise. But maybe after people have a few beers, it makes sense. Again, they can have it. I will never go back. read more

As a newly remodeled theater, the building, seats and screens were really nice. However....I agreed with other reviewers that at our selected show, the volume, especially for the ads / previews was louder than I've encountered anywhere else, uncomfortably so. This was especially strange given this was the time to get food/drink orders in, yet no one could hear the servers. I found it really inconvenient and illogical that we were expected to view the menu, place our order and enter credit card info (in the dark) on our phones. There wasn't a quick pay option (Apple/Google), so the expectation was that we type in our credit cards during previews and in the dark....then pay the automatic 18% gratuity given we might not talk to a staff member the whole time. If the theater is open to suggestions, I'd like to have the option to use a hard copy menu...or at least a quick pay option when ordering on our phones (to avoid typing in card info in the dark). It would have help for the volume of ads and previews to be a little lower during the pre movie ordering window. read more

The Flix Brewhouse on Indian School Rd NE and really had a great experience. In particular, the bartender, Dave, has made delicious drinks that I have never heard of. He is creative, friendly, and goes out of his way to ensure we have a great experience. 10 out of 10 experience for me. Dave does an amazing job even when he is slammed with customers. I took my toddler for Flix Jr. We have gone to the other location and had a great time, but at this location we only stayed about 20 minutes. First of all, it was LOUD. Loud enough that I felt like I should have earplugs for even me. That's ultimately why we left, my toddler said it was scaring him, and he is able to enjoy going to regular movie theaters without sensory accommodations. Flix Jr is supposed to be quieter and less dark, and our experience at the other location was great, they gave him coloring pages, it was so peaceful that he fell asleep. This was NOT the case at this location. It was extremely loud, so dark you couldn't see anything, and no coloring pages or anything like that. 20 minutes into the movie I had to pack up our food and leave because it was honestly a more uncomfortable experience than even just going to a regular adult movie. 2 stars because the staff that I interacted with was nice and it's really clean in there. Someone I know that stayed after us said they did end up turning the volume down some after we left but it was still loud and dark enough that they ended up leaving too. Again, Flix Jr is supposed to be sensory friendly for young kids, at least that is my understanding and my experience at the other location, so be aware of this if you are planning for a fun outing for your younger child and maybe go to the other one instead. read more
