I would like to share my recent experience with FloFab Freestyle Welding. This business does all sorts of welding projects, but without going into great detail, my request was a little unique. I researched a bit then found this company. When I explained the project I needed done, the owner (Dustin) knew EXACTLY what the issue was, how to fix it, and gave me confidence that he knew what he was talking about. In fact he did. He completed the welding job well in advance of the time we agreed, was professional, very knowledgeable about his trade, and was respectful. In addition to this, his prices are reasonable and he did an excellent job that was tested 5 times over now with perfect results. He is one of those rare people you want to know for metal fabrication projects and one that you can feel confident referring to others. He was ethical with us and did a fantastic job. He even fixed another small complaint we had about a related item, and truly does go above and beyond. Dustin (the brains and brawn behind Flo Fab) took on a project for me recently and the results were amazing - i needed some help with creating a couple of sign posts resembling those found in football stadia in England. i had some designs in mind, but he improved upon them and then saw the project through to completion very quickly. what i most admired about Dustin was his "can do" attitude - he's a great problem solver and really strives to understand exactly what his customers are looking for. he does this by making himself readily accessible, and then by asking questions, proposing solutions/options, and then checking back in to make sure he's got the right idea. he also collaborated with others outside his own business to make this project a success. if i had any other project needing metalwork in the future i would unhesitatingly go to him. if you want a headache-free experience, go with Flo Fab! read more

After searching endlessly for an off the shelf solution for a rack to go around the softopper on my truck, I contacted Dustin for help after reading the reviews here on yelp. The process was fantastic. Dustin designed and fabricated a solution that exceeded my expectations. Dustin built what he said he would build, finished it when he said it would be finished, charged what he said he would charge and communicated with me all along the way. He simply delivered. Dustin is a true craftsman. In a world filled with laser this and computer that, Dustin uses old world craftsmanship, time, and patience to create his product. We had him design and create a mobile mount for an electric car charger and it's out of this world. The design and lines flow from a creative mind which is witnessed in our bespoke charger. Quality like this is not something easily obtained and only comes with a passion for the craft. FloFab also made some extension ramps for our alignment machine and while these are a rudimentary shape, the attention to detail, build quality, and the fact he hinged them in the middle for easy folding, makes them superior to any other option we investigated. FloFab is Awesome! Not only is Dustin one of the nicest guys I've but he's also a great welder! Last year the spot on my XR650l where the kickstand meets the frame began to crack. Eventually my kickstand broke off, creating a jagged hole in my tube frame. I called around and had little luck finding and scheduling a repair because of the difficulty of the weld. A friend of mine recommended that I call Dustin and get him to take a look at it. I contacted him, sent a picture of what was going on, and he told me to come on over. In less than an hour he had me back on the road. Nearly a year later the kickstand is holding up like a champ and I know that if I have ANY metal fabrication or welding work Dustin is without a doubt the one I'm gonna call. read more

I am a conceptual artist and I often need to fabricate abstract ideas. I had a very professional and efficient experience with FloFab Freestyle Welding to produce a foundation for one of my sculptures that will show in a museum later this fall. I bought a used Hensley Hitch to use pulli g my 1966 Travel Trailer. These things are expensive and way over built but they absolutely do the job. The problem is that they are not easily adjusted to different towing combinations and the factory is not accommodating for second owners. Dustin took the hitch and replaced the original ball will one that would fit my trailer. The result was a thing of beauty and so I brought the hitch bar in to have him create a 4" rise with the same results! If anything,my mods have improved the equipment! Dustin is prompt and does what he says and a bit more. Great guy and a great resource; I will use him for all my metal fab needs moving forward. read more

Flo Fab did a great job for our company. Dustin fabricated several containers for us and did a real professional job. He was timely and reasonably priced for the heavy duty welding he did. I don't think there is any job too big or too small he cannot accomplish for anyone. Dustin fabricated a staircase railing for our home. Our staircase has a tight corner and is pretty steep. His bulletproof design has enabled our aging relatives to be able to safely navigate our staircase with ease. In addition, our kids beat on it every chance they get and the thing won't budge! Had an urgent request for my uncle's damaged/bent steel security door that would not close or lock due to the fire department forcing it open. Dustin came to the rescue and immediately fixed these issues. You cannot even tell door was fixed. He did an excellent job at a very fair price...but we gave him a little extra because he knew we needed to get this done immediately and he did just that.
