We use them for business and they're always good to us. Sometimes we miscalculate how long we will need something and they are good at letting us extend our rentals. One time we got the wrong hose for a pressure washer given to us and we were in battle ground. This was my first time renting with them and my first time using a paint sprayer. Everyone was very helpful and Mark was quite thorough in showing me how to use the machine and how to clean it. Of course, I had a question as I began to use the machine. I rented a drum sander for my deck from Interstate Rentals and went to them after going to Portland Rent All (which is the worst, has very poor service, workers who behave like they are either tweakers or just brain dead, and shoddy equipment). Interstate was great, the service was excellent, when I thought they had forgotten to give me a cord that I needed they were going to bring it to me until I discovered I did have it and the equipment was clean and in good working order. Prices are competitive and the location is very convenient for me. Definitely will use them again and have already recommended them to a friend of mine who is starting to renovate his house. read more

I'm a florist and one of my wedding clients had found Interstate Rentals and had rented multiple items from them, including a birch arch to be delivered to a venue in Cannon Beach a few weeks ago. So, I decided to also rent tall cylinder vases from them so all the rental items would come from one company (to save on deliver costs and confusion). I never went into their location, just looked at their website and spoke to staff over the phone. Someone had to check on a few things for me and they promptly called me back with an answer. The delivery/set-up staff from Interstate were very professional and efficient. The vases were perfect and the arch was also very lovely and rustic. Thanks Interstate! read more

We rented a scissor lift. The product was fine. The delivery was fine. The driver picking up the lift got into a dispute with a painter working on site. The driver then screamed a series of anti-Mexican insults at the painter and on-site management. He did this in front of several people, including a child. The driver would not help the painter drive the lift to the truck and taunted him while he did so. Why? The driver felt that the painter had damaged the lift tires. read more

Needed a welder; found the one we needed on their website. Called to reserve it and they said they don't reserve them (their website said 'call to reserve'). They assured me it wasn't an issue, asked for my name and said it'd be there when I got there. Got there and the guy says he doesn't rent that welder to anyone anymore. In fact, he's going to remove it from the computer right now. So we drove all the way out there for them to change their mind. Pretty crappy. read more
