I've hesitated in trying Reiki in the past as I worried that it wouldn't have the same dig-in-and-knead-it-out "punch" that a strong massage does. I've seen more than one massage therapist here and they all do an excellent job. You fill out an intake form before your first appointment so your massage can be tailored to fit your needs. And unlike other places I've visited, you actually get the full amount of time for which you pay. Other massage therapists I've seen wouldn't go for the full hour of my appointment but these ones do. Besides the massage quality, what stands out to me is the atmosphere of the place. The lobby is very calming with a water fountain and essential oils and other things for sale. The private massage rooms are just as nice. Soft lighting, pleasant music, and plenty of space around the massage table so you don't feel cramped. If you're a frequent visitor they have "memberships" that allow you to purchase multiple massages, and you can divide the payments. I would do that if I wasn't paying back hundreds in student loans every month. So for now this is a once a month "treat yo'self" kinda thing for me.

My back had been so bad that I couldn't really walk and it was encroaching on my positive and happy disposition. I ended up walking out of there with a huge smile and I could sleep that night... I've just seen her again for my shoulder pain and the burning has stopped and I have movement in my shoulder!!!
