My lawyer made countless false promises, ignored several warnings made by me, did absolutely no fact checking behind what oppossing counsel told her, and essentially neglected my case so badly that it allowed the opossing party to illegally evict me from the home. It has been one month since this happened, and LASP has done nothing about it. It has become painfully clear to me after speaking with both the Managing Attorney and the Chief Counsel that LASP's problems start and end at the very top. It has become painfully clear that LASP does the absolute bare minimum, so they can continue to collect the insane funding they collect. They will avoid anything and everything that could potentially risk their funding, so that the executives can continue collecting nice fat pay checks for doing essentially nothing for their clients. This lawfirm honestly should be investigated, I cant even imagine how many people ended up in a worse position than they started in because of this horrible firm. EDIT: I had to retain private counsel (through the help of family due to my lack of funds) to help me with the things LASP refused to do, they were incredibly rude and dismissive about getting the substitution of counsel done. When I attempted to tell my former attorney what my new attorneys need, I was told "sir you just told me you have new counsel. I should speak to them and not you" and then hung up on me. I honestly feel like I was better off pro se than being represented by LASP. At least then I was able to get filings done on time, and was able to keep opposing counsel at bay by fact checking what I was being told.
