Under cabinet sink and flooring damage to Kitchen and sunroom.
    Andrea N.

We were overwhelmed by the water damage from a kitchen faucet link. Our sink cabinet was completely compromised and our laminate flooring destroyed in our kitchen and attached sunroom. Quartius Lossa of Floodmasters came in and immediately reviewed the process we needed to go through to get our kitchen and sunroom repaired. He was cordial, well-informed and freely shared his knowledge and experience with us. I cannot tell you how reassured we were after speaking with him. He immediately set up the fans and explained what to expect in the next few days. Now we are ready to begin repairs and we can't wait to get our kitchen back - newer and better. Thank you Floodmasters for hiring a sterling employee like Quartius Lossa. We can't thank you enough! Floyd and Andrea Neal of Loganville, GA

The max amount of the water from sump pump that Floodmasters is charging $6k+ to mitigate.
    Debbie B.

Beware. If you are a USAA member do not allow Floodmasters to be assigned to your mitigation project. Also, if Howard Plumbing refers you to Floodmasters - decline the referral. The five day "drying" and treatment of a leak (not flooding nor standing water) of my sump pump )concrete floor in closet. Was estimated by Q at a maximum of $1600 because sewage water required special treatment. You are low-balled verbally as enticement to sign their contract which serves as their blank check. Without any communication or anything out of the ordinary i receive an invoice of $6k +. Strong arm tactics and rudeness from the staff. DO NOT SIGN A CONTRACT FOR SERVICES WITH THIS Company. I've had to turn over further communication with my attorney. Review the picture. Does this look like a $6K clean up.

    Hardwood floor

In Feb 2020, my 82 year old mom called our plumber because she discovered the floor in the basement was very wet. The plumber could not find the leak, but sent Flood Masters to install dryers to start drying the water. "Q" charged my mom $1,000 that day and told her our homeowners will cover. They left no quote, no paperwork, nothing to submit to my mom's insurance company. Another technician came the same day and dryers were installed to dry up the floor in the basement. Then another technician came in and smashed and pulled up about 10 pieces of tile, subfloor and cut out parts of the hardwood floor looking for asbestos. Still, never received anything that my mom could submit to her home owners. They completely destroyed the kitchen and insurance will not pay to fix because the plumber our insurance sent out found the leak - it came from the ice maker. I sent a text to Elizabeth and asked her for the quote and description of what had to be done and what they did. As of March 13th, we still had received nothing. On April 7, I sent an email to "Q" and he finally called, looking for more money!! My mom finally received the description and scope of work AFTER our insurance company denied the claim - it was sent to my email (as requested) on April 30th. Now my mom has a refrigerator in the middle of the kitchen, tiles and subfloor have been torn up, some of the hallway wood floor has been cut up and there are also additional damages. This company is a scam and I believe they took advantage of my mom and frightened her when they mentioned asbestos. My mom now has to try to find someone to repair this mess and she can't afford it due to her being on a fixed income. What a scam!! Do not call these people. My mom Lee Moylan in Conyers.

    Stained floor

They broke my tv and stained my carpet with their equipment. They said they were going to replace my tv ibut they haven't called me about it. I have been patient but they haven't returned my calls. They did dry my floors and basement ceiling but that is the absolute only reason I'm am giving them 1 star.

holes left by flood master that were suppose to  be covered with plywood they are incompetent

Recommended by my plumber after a leak. This company is terrible they lack professionalism. Be weary of using their services they left my house in an unsafe condition and now my contractor is fixing their mistakes. They missed appointments and were not at all a joy to work with. Stay away!!

This is the completion of their work

There was a mix-up the first time and they did the basic pet treatment. But they came back, did the advanced (deeper) enzyme treatment I had originally booked, and refunded me for the hassle, which I really appreciated. Both times the techs were pleasant and efficient. I also appreciated that, prior to treatment, they used a black light to thoroughly assess the problem. One thing to know is that the smell can actually get worse for a few days after deep enzyme cleaning (which really surprised me!). Keeping the windows closed at first, then airing out, running two air purifiers on turbo, and vacuuming thoroughly really helped. Vacuuming is so important because it lifts leftover VOC particles that cause "ghost smell" even after enzyme treatment. I also used an odor powder (Rocco & Roxie) over the carpet, left it for 24 hours, then vacuumed again. Blocking off the area with aluminum foil and barriers helped stop my cat from re-marking the same spots too. In the end, Citrus Fresh helped me save my carpet. I'd recommend them -- just know to stick with it, ask for the advanced treatment and be patient if you have a tough pet mess like mine!

Pretreatment and spot details included. Service was timely and thorough. Probably another vacuuming would have been helpful. I vacuumed the next day and plenty of dog hair was picked up. Overall, would recommend and use them again.

I asked some more questions (also through Yelp) and was able to get all my questions answered promptly - and this was post business hours. Communication/Promptness = +1 Scheduling service online was a breeze. Even mentioned Yelp to get free deodorizing. Ease of Scheduling = +1 On day of service, I received 2 calls - one to let me know the technician was on the way, and the second when the technician was almost at my residence. Keeping me updated = +1 I explained what work I needed, and asked for some prices of additional items I was considering. Once I had decided on what I wanted cleaned, the technician got to work. He explained what he was doing, gave me some tips on keeping my rugs and carpets cleaned. Pricing = +1 (very reasonable, check online for average prices) I had my couch, dining chairs, three area rugs and bar chairs cleaned. Took the technician about a hour and a half and I didn't ever feel like he was rushing or doing a shoddy job. In the end I was happy with the outcome! Plus the free watermelon deodorizer.... Final Result = +1 (very happy) The process is simple - steam clean :) For larger areas they need a supply of water. Since I had rugs and chairs on two levels of my house, I was initially concerned, but they have an extra large hose in their truck, which can accommodate multiple level houses (2 in my case). I will definitely be using them when I need my rugs or carpet steam cleaned again. P.S. While I didn't use these services, they do spot cleaning treatments and help with pet odor removal too!

We closed on our house the day before Thanksgiving and seeing the state of the carpets in the house I knew carpet cleaning was a necessary expense for our new home. As usual I came right to Yelp to find a service provider after all the awesome reviews I decided to go with Dirt Blasters. I called Ken and he was so easy to talk to and booking was a breeze. He ended up calling the day before my actual appointment with a opening which was perfect as one of my dogs decided he wanted to christen the new carpet by peeing an hour before my appointment. I didn't think the carpet was as bad but after Ken showed me some spots I realized it needed a lot more work and Ken so graciously worked within our budget as I hadn't planned for the extent of the carpet. He did such a tremendous job and gave me even more tips to maintain carpet with all the dog hair that accumulates with ( 2 bulldogs). I know that for our carpet maintenance until we get hardwood and even after that it's a no brainer to give Ken a call. Please take this review as honestly as I am writing it as this is a business owner that takes pride in his work and values his customers and I sincerely appreciate this as many business don't place a high value on customer satisfaction. Thanks again Ken!! My carpets look awesome and I am so thankful.

The home was dark so we did not notice the deep, dark stains until it came home with us and, the smell was so overpowering that we had to close off the room. Ken worked very hard and cleaned the sectional well. He was careful to explain the process and gave us options for removing the deep, dark stains. What was so impressive is that he created a custom, chemical-free, blend of essential oils for us to use to freshen the room. KEN GOES ABOVE & BEYOND The next day Ken called to check on the status of our sofa and when I mentioned that some areas had a lightened significantly but not cleared, he returned to our home and treated the entire sectional! Looks great and the curry scent is 95% gone (only came up again when wet. no scent in the dry sofa.)
