I placed a large flooring order totaling nearly $7,000 more than two weeks ago with the expectation that pickup would be straightforward. I even rented a cargo van specifically for the trip. Before leaving, I called at 9:00 a.m. to let the store know I was on my way to pick up my order. When I arrived around 10:40 a.m., the experience immediately went downhill. I stood at the customer service desk while three employees were present, yet no one acknowledged me or asked if I needed assistance. Everyone appeared frustrated and completely uninterested in helping customers. After waiting, I finally got someone to assist me. Unfortunately, it only got worse. By the time my order was being loaded around 11:15 a.m., the two employees handling the pickup were rude, short, and abrasive. There was no greeting, no communication, and no appreciation for the fact that I was picking up a significant order. I work in Greenville and rarely shop the Columbia location, and this experience reminded me why. The difference in customer service between the two stores is night and day. Greenville has consistently been professional, friendly, and helpful. Columbia, on the other hand, made what should have been a simple pickup stressful and frustrating. When customers spend thousands of dollars and plan their day around picking up materials, they deserve to be treated with courtesy and respect. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend the Columbia location. If you have the option, I would strongly suggest driving to the Greenville store instead. read more

Buyer Beware!!! We paid Floor & Decor over $4,000 for hardwood flooring (Acacia Burlywood II by West Ridge). This is a product made in Vietnam. Not long after installation, we noticed significant gapping that got progressively worse with time. After filing a claim with Floor & Decor, they required that we have an inspection completed by an independent licensed professional, which we did. When that inspection revealed that the product was defective as a result of manufacturing/milling issues and out of spec, the claim was still denied. They then required that a second inspection be completed by one of THEIR inspectors, and... shocker... the result was effectively "inconclusive" as to what caused the gapping. On top of that, rather than stand behind the claim themselves as the retailer, they reached out to manufacturer who indicated the gapping could have been caused by any number of factors. Again... shocker. The product was allowed to acclimate properly, we have no moisture issues in our home and it has always been climate controlled. There has been no response from any party that it was an installation issue, so there has simply been nothing done by Floor & Decor outside of shirking their responsibility to their customer and not standing behind their product. Here's the best part- they did offer to pass along a $1,500 credit from the MANUFACTURER, but only if I'd sign a release of culpability on both the manufacturer AND Floor & Decor. When I agreed to release the manufacturer in exchange for the $1,500, but not Floor & Decor because they've offered me nothing, they denied and have held the $1,500 for ransom as well!!! This is a big box store that will take your money and cares nothing about whether or not the product is of any quality at all. I ordered T-molding on 24 August 2021, and was told it would take from 7-21 days from vendor. Well I just got off the phone with customer service and was told that the items wouldn't be here until 27 September 2021. Then I was told by representative that the item has NOT been filled by vendor who happens to be somewhere out West and is still not ready for shipping. The only answer I received was " I APOLOGIZE FOR YOUR INCONVENIENCE " Really!!!!! This was my 3rd time purchasing floors from them and never have I had an issue. Well Floor & Decor you have lost a valued customer who have sang your praises of value and quality to the employees of "L" and "HD" Home Improvement stores, friends and family. They only thing I can tell them at this time is don't waste your time going to Floor&Decor, especially if you have to special order anything!!! read more

I as of today have suddenly been charged a $487.77 interest fee on $600 balance without notification. I have not been able to access the card that floor and decor stopped using while I had a balance on it so I have not been able to pay it off as per usual. It will only take the minimum due auto draft. I can't access anything, it won't another to card exists and tried to only get me to sign up for a new one. They were of zero help to me and said they would not reverse the charge and that they sent emails I never received. This is fraud to not allow me to access the portal to pay off before the year end. It's entrapment and shady. This is the first time I was able to get ahold of a human being and they took zero accountability for trapping me so they could take advantage. Do not ever use Comenity Bank for anything. They lie and cheat and take all your power to make double payments or pay off the balance in full as I always have. This is horrible business and they will take advantage of you!!!!!! read more

I am remodeling an investment property and Michael (with design services) has been so helpful! He helped me pick everything out and stay within budget! I had some ideas of what I was looking for and he helped me find materials that would give me the look and keep me in budget. During my numerous trips to the store he helped answer questions. One trip in the store I was ready to cry, because my project was going over budget in labor. Michael must have been able to tell. lol He brought me a water, we sat down and revised our plan to help me cut cost down again. Such an awesome employee that made shopping there truly a pleasure! I highly recommend Floor and Decor and Michael with design needs! My project is looking beautiful and it's not complete yet! read more
