I am so happy with the service at this Floor and decor location. Recently I had another home project and needed some solid advice and I knew I would be helped here as I was in the past. Sonia, the designer made the entire process from beginning to completion effortless for me. What a relief! She is so talented, knowledgeable and organized. Also, Greg and other very knowledgeable and helpful staff in flooring helped out with specific concerns and materials I would need for my project. Everyone was So patient and helpful. Floor & Decor saves the day again! Absolutely love this place with sooooo many great options to choose from at very reasonable prices. They even have sale sections too where you might score something. From backsplashes, to hard wood, to your favorite little beeswax tile (my fave hee hee) they have it all. If you're looking to DIY something and are absolutely not a pro at this, please don't get mad at the staff for not telling YOU how you should do your TikTok project that you have no idea how to begin or even do. This is totally not their responsibility, they know their stuff but they're not here to be your contractor and the pros, they simply work here and are knowledgeable at what they do - the rest, leave it to the professionals. So don't get mad if they don't "explain to you" how to install a tile or a backsplash. This is not a workshop it's a floor store. We've had great experiences coming here, once for a DIY thing and another time to get our bathroom floor redone. Both were fantastic experiences! This last time, they absolutely saved the day. We walked in knowing exactly what we wanted, exactly what we needed - thanks to their online selection and choices but also to their sq ft calculator, this was SO helpful. Bad news, but the tile we needed was not there, just one little half box was available. We asked one of the guys that worked there and he came out with a WHOLE PALLET of it within minutes. Ask and you shall receive! This literally made our day and we were able to get the pieces we needed in time for the pros to get our floor done. It came out incredible. Oh, and grout selection is a thing. We were guided the right direction to make the right choice for the right grout and right shade. OBSESSED. Thank you Floor & Decor for making us happy! read more

I received good service when purchasing supplies. By mistake I left an expensive pair of leather gloves in the store. When calling I was told they had the gloves and would leave them at desk with my name and number. I returned to store and gloves were gone. No explanations. Called and returned again. Gloves were thrown out apparently. Called and was told they are not responsible and manager hung up on me. Won't do business with them again! read more

Rude design staff. They were not helpful. One even told me not to buy counters there and to go to Venezia instead. I went there looking to save some $ and am completely disappointed by the design staff. One even called my taste dated. read more

Purchased wood floors last July for 90 a box and I go back today to buybthe same wood floors they want 152 a box and paramus nj floor and decor has the same box at 132 a box, stay away from this place they used to have affordable prices but if your not looking at the price they will definetly over charge you read more

John Mac and Simone are amazing!! BEST BEST BEST customer service on the planet. John went so out of his way to get me a long awaited sample that he certainly did not have to do. Normally personalized service like this is ONLY for high end stores. And Simone's design help was priceless. Glad to see a store move into the old Bob's space. The space is huge which allows them to set up many displays that are well put together and provide thought provoking design choices. The rows of products are widely spaced which is especially nice in these times. They have an ample selection of both floor and wall choices. I gave it 4 stars because it took an exceptionally long time to find someone to help us. However, when we did, she really listened to our ideas and offered thoughtful advice. We purchased a few samples and have her contact info to reach out with any questions. If/when we decide to purchase from them I can contact her ahead of time with how much tile we will need and she will have to ready to go for us when we arrive at the store. I think this is a huge differentiator from Home Depot which is literally next door. read more

Beyond impressed with the service and selection at Floor & Decor in Danbury! This is my first time doing renovations and the process was initially intimidating. I went to 2 other stores prior to Floor & Decor and left feeling more overwhelmed. Then I made a FREE appointment with designer Sonia Lopes at the Danbury location. When we spoke on the phone she asked me a bunch of questions and suggested I take pictures of my space to bring to the appointment. The evening of my appointment, Sonia already had some ideas in mind. She walked me through the store, showed me lots of options that met my needs and were within my budget, and patiently answered all my questions. The end result is that for the first time I became excited about the renovations and how my space was going to look!!! If you don't know what you are doing, or even if you do, I would highly recommend making an appointment with Sonia. Also worth noting is that the store was clean, very well organized (I'd feel comfortable going back to browse on my own), and all the other staff were just as friendly as Sonia. When I initially arrived I wasn't sure where to go and asked the first employee I saw. Greg introduced himself to me, asked my name, and walked me over to the design studio. Not like other stores where they just point. 10 out of 10 recommend!!! read more

Danbury store has not 1 tile person that knows anything about tile installations. They watch a video thats about it. Bathroom remodeling, showers do's or dont's doesn't exist. Desingers are in the same boat.How can a 20 to 30year old person give you advice when they never worked in the Tile,Vinyl,Wood industry or Installing or selling mortors, grouts. No hands on experience at all. How about Managers also Asst. Managers! PETER is a person that should never be working their period!! working with the public, should never be. Jason another so called Manager. Can't handle customers ran away from one. I over heard him say i just can't handle it. Total children running this store. BEWARE of this LOCATION and the MANAGER Peter! First, I have shopped at the West Hartford and Fairfield stores and been allowed to use the public restrooms. However, today I visited this location and there was a sign on the door that stated no public restrooms. Exactly, what is this location saying about the customers they service if they won't grant them public restrooms?!? :( Second, I was returning 15 boxes of vinyl flooring in which I loaded from my car in the rain. I was immediately, greeted by Peter. He began to inspect the boxes that were wet from the rain. Next, he started looking for something to dry them off and called on the walkie talkie for paper towels. He then stated he was getting paper towels for me. I was confused and stated not for me but you. After inspecting all the boxes, he said I can't return one as it was open. I stated that the boxes were the wrong size. That the flooring was being sold in two different sizes but was not labeled as such. I had 5.75 boxes and 5.91 boxes. Associate Greg leaned in and asked for clarity. I told him I need to return these 5.91 boxes and get the 5.75, he went to vinyl flooring section to find the flooring. SHOUT OUT TO GREG that was customer service focused. Upset about Peter's tone to me I asked to speak to the manger. To my surprise he stated he was the manager, I then told him I was done with speaking with him! As if his level of customer service and tone is what I receive as an African American woman that spent approximately $4500 in flooring in the last month, I was done. He said it was no tone but was assisting me as he wiped off the boxes for me. I once again stated not for me but you. Peter implied it was my responsibility to wipe the rain off the boxes before he would return them. Straight Nonsense!!! Peter instructed another associate to process the return of only 14 boxes. Meanwhile, Greg retrieved the right size boxes from their inventory and even informed Peter that I was correct about the two different sizes to assist me in getting the last box return. However, Peter did not allow it. Sadly, this was not the level of service I was expecting after driving an hour and a half to this location. read more

We had a wonderful experience at Floor and Decor in Danbury CT. Patty and Greg were phenomenal to work with. Building a house can be very overwhelming. Their experience in design and hands on work in tiling helped us make the best purchases possible. They followed through the next day when our contractor went to the store to pick up the material, they touched base with him to make sure he got exactly what we wanted/needed and called us afterwards to let us know it was all set. Highly recommend this store and these employees! read more

Terrible customer service. Drove an hour to come out here for tile that said was available online. Come here and they don't have it. The associate who helped us tried his best to help us. We both called the Avon Mass store and they hung up on us both. Very rude and not helpful. Needless to see we left with no tile. I would never recommend that store. read more

Great selection of tiles and the people there were very nice. I placed an order for 500 sqft of tile and arranged to have them delivered to my home. I took the day off, waited all day, but no delivery arrived. I called the store and was told they made a mistake and forgot to have my order ready for pick-up. I took another day off, waited all day, called three times to ensure the order was shipping out...no delivery. I spoke to the manager and was not offered any type of discount, or at the very least, complimentary delivery! Nothing, just, sorry, your order is still sitting here. I am furious at this store and will never buy another thing there. I had plans for two new bathrooms and was going to use their design service. Unless something changes, i would not recommend dealing with this store (Danbury). I've never had an experience like this at any other store. Home Depot is right next door, guess where I'll go next. As an update: the manager was able to arrange for a delivery, but not until 8pm that night. I know there are challenges with shipping right now, but i'm still annoyed with the experience and of not being offered any type of discount on the failed first delivery that was entirely their fault. They caused me to miss two days of work while sitting at the house all day. the delivery window on both days was 1-4. Just not right. Update: I was contacted by the store to hear more about the process and and feel that they have now made amends for my one bad experience. That one call gives me faith that customer experience is in fact important to them. they deserve another chance and i would recommend the store to anyone looking for flooring. This is an amazing store. Everyone was extremely helpful. Gervaise warmly welcomed us at the door and told us where everything was. As we started to load our cart, Hannah offered to help. She went the extra mile by checking other stores' availability and even calling one location to confirm they had what we needed. She could not have done a better job.
