I had a wonderful experience at the store from the moment I called to the moment I got my floors loaded into my car and everybody was very friendly and willing to assist me with the choices. Darius was phenomenal. I wish everybody were just nice and friendly like employees at the store. read more

After having visited the Floor and Decor store in Conyers, I expected the same excellent customer service and care at the Covington store. Honestly, it was like night and day. You feel like you're on your own walking around in the Covington store. There was absolutely no one walking around to provide help. I went to the register to see if someone could be summoned to assist me. The young lady at the register looked confused. She didn't seem to know what to do and then asked another worker who was passing by if he could help me. This gentleman looked very stressed as he was already assisting a customer, then there was another customer at the register complaining that he was unable to help her and then here comes me needing help as well!!! The young man told the cashier that he would be glad to help but he was tied up and that he would get to me as soon as he could. The young lady then turned and told me that he would be right with me(?). He gave her a stern look. The young man told her that he had someone else waiting for him. His face said it all to me. Frustrated and in disbelief, I told everyone up there that I would just get the product off the shelf and out of the box myself. I went to the bamboo flooring area and opened a box to pull a sample and purchased it. I drove close to 30 miles to shop at the Covington store only two receive poor customer service. My husband and I both are seasoned corp manager/director. I blame the store mgr. for not having enough reps on the floor. It was like a ghost town in there with the couple of guys in there overwhelmed by customer demands. My hope is that Corp sees this rating and take a closer analytical view (turnover rates, revenue, complaints, etc) and intervenes. I will not be back to this store again! read more

If you need any help- ask for Tori or Marsha. We had to visit the store 3 or 4 times to make a final decision on tile for a master bathroom renovation. The store is huge and offers over 20 examples of beautifully tiled bathroom which displayed several designs and colors for bathroom. However, Would seek out Tori or Marsha to help evaluate our selections- big help!! We really found the store to clean and orderly and fun to visit. All the staff were friendly and made us feel welcomed. By the way, Lawrence Pope ( Owner) Bathroom Remodelers would meet us there and help out too. He knew all the staff at Floor and Decor's. He even delivered all the tile to our home. His crew has done Excellent job in remodeling our bathroom-great experience all the way around!! read more

I walked in to see so many employees chatting among one another. Not one person said, "hello" or asked if I needed assistance. No eye contact what so ever. The employees seem as if the customers in the store were interrupting their evening. No customer service what so ever. I will be taking my business $$$$ somewhere else. It's hard to find good help. My husband and I love floor & decor. We drive 1.5 hrs to go there for any of our flooring or tile needs. We've renovated two homes and we'll continue to use them in the future, they have a huge selection, good quality and fair pricing. Faye helped us calculate everything we needed this time and she was fantastic. Our only issue was having to wait almost two hours to get checked out and loaded. We didn't see anyone else go ahead of us so I'm not sure what the delay was all about. Overall, happy with our visit. Just disappointed with the wait time. read more

We are business owners who flip houses. We decided to come here for tile. Found what we wanted . Bought it. Then waited 15 min by the loading area .... No one around. Went back inside.. And the cashier was like oh ... You're already there? Yes, we told her we were heading there now. Ok problem solved right..... Nope. Waited 40 min... 40 min to get 27 boxes of tile. 3 people sitting on a computer trying to decided where they will be eating at that evening ... Just sitting there. 2 lazy employees came to "load" .. my husband loaded every box himself . They were also supposed to load all the other 50 pound bags of grout etc... Never showed. Never will return. Horrible customer service! read more

Shortly after submitting this review on Friday afternoon, the store manager, Michael Stettler, called me personally and gathered information from me about what pieces I was lacking and how he could make things right. Ultimately, he refunded me the funds for all of the trim pieces to include the quarter round and is even having it personally delivered to my home this afternoon. Had an amazing experience here on last Saturday. We are redoing our kitchen and bath to sell our home. My mom, sister and I stopped by the design center and found more than we had hoped for. Marsha walked us through the process step by step and helped us design the perfect space! We had some tile previously purchased for the bathroom floor and the kitchen backsplash and she gave us great color and style recommendations that worked around that. She made great suggestions that make our house more "sellable" without being pushy about her point of view. We ordered a custom granite counter top, new tile for our bath/shower enclosure and she made sure we didn't leave anything out. She suggested concrete backer board, thin set, waterproof lining, grout, she thought of everything to make it look professional and last! It was a stress free experience with her kindness and expert advice. She took all the worry out of it! I would suggest Marsha to anyone planning a remodel or redesign. read more

I will not be shopping here again.The manager Steven Tyler this morning was incredibly rude. I had already paid for the product. My floors were put in. Returns should not be difficult. Yes, the box was open. Yes, I brought back 5 and 6 actually go in a box. Sorry, but I didn't put the floors down. I brought back what arrived damaged. I couldn't get a refund so he told me to exchange and keep them. While being escorted out with my return and a new box he walked over Rambling, removed 1 plank assuming I wanted to steal a plank. Adding that employees get fired for what I did. I had to walk out the front doors either way, check out with the front. Not giving anyone a chance to talk to me he picked up the box and escorted me out as if I was a criminal. Horrible experience. I was honest and told him when I walked in 6 go in a box. Me and the employee were having a pleasant conversation to the isle and back. I did not expect him to storm over the way he did and I hadn't even gotten to the register yet. read more

We were looking to renovate our shower. We walked around and looked at the showroom of shower's. We approached Pam Heard and told her we wanted to renovate our shower. Pam was extremely helpful. She told us to walk around and look at the tile and she would join us. She then walked around the store with us to gather everything that was needed to complete the renovation project. We did not know that Floor & Decor had a designer group that would help us to not only design the shower we wanted but also helped us when we returned to pick up all the items needed to complete the shower. We will definitely return to Floor & Decor for our next project. read more
