First visit and it won't be the last. I went looking for flooring to matching existing and for tile. Noah approached us and he never left showing me all my options and going out of his way on many occasions. His input helped in my decisions to purchase samples and some flooring. Didn't stop there, Katilia the cashier was amazing! She also went out of her way to assist me. I was back the next day to purchase from the samples I had. Noah was off, but I found Veronica, she was professional, easy to work with and the knowledgeable of the designer she is. It was lovely again, running into Katilia as she rung up all my wood flooring! Great experience at F&D Pompano due to the wonderful people, many more visits to come. read more

I am redoing a bathroom and found tile at this store. Unfortunately they didn't have enough so I ordered what I needed in February 2022. I live out of town so kept trying to call to find out the status of my order. This store never answers their phone and the alternate approaches such as their web based virtual assistant and their central customer care phone number were equally ineffective. Another family member went into the store for me in early May and found that my order had arrived two weeks previously but because they were unable to reach me (an error in the phone number they had for me) they canceled my order. Please note that I had paid in full at the time I placed the order and they had told me they would hold it for me until I was able to arrange for pick up. I still need tile but it won't come from this store. Update: I was able to find an address to email for customer support and a wonderful person named Nicole helped me with my problem. She was persistent in getting me connected with a manager from the store and when too much time went by without a response from them, she was on the case. In the end, despite some failures along the way, I was connected to two terrific staff members on the design team, Brenda and Rene. They worked with me to find replacement tile that met me needs, took me through the payment process themselves and loaded it into my car. Nicole also stayed in touch via email to make sure I was satisfied. So I am increasing the stars to 4 because once I found the, there were several terrific staff members, and I ultimately got what I needed. Two years ago I gave this store a 5-star review on Google. Unfortunately, I had to update to a one-star based on some recent experiences. So much has changed over the past couple of years. This company used to be a good place to shop. But, nowadays their customer service is frankly terrible. They keep changing their policies. Today I went to return backsplash tiles in their original boxes. However, because the box was not full they refused to accept the return even though each tile piece is sold separately with a bar code. I interacted with two employees there (Antonella and Miguel Cafe). I have to say that they are the most clueless representatives for this store. They pointed to a policy change which will only be effective after October 31, this year. Today is October 15. So, I am not sure why my return would fall under this policy. I have tried to get in touch with the general manager there but in vain. I am planning to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. The rating for Floor & Decor there is an F. This location is the terrible. Ordered tile online with 'guaranteed pick-up" after 2:00 p.m. At 3:00, customer service told me the order was ready. I got there at 5:30.....you would think plenty of time, right? Wrong. The manager of that locations said they only pull the order at night. In addition, they took almost an hour to pull the inventory and tell me that they didn't even have all of the inventory that their online ordering system said was in stock. They were politely curt during the process. Avoid this location at all costs. In contrast, I ordered a very large order from the Boynton Beach location and before I could get in the car, I got an email that the order was ready. I got there and it was ready to go. Definitely will go to Boynton. Pompano location seems disorganized and clueless. read more

One phrase: SUPERSTORE. I had never been to a Floor & decor before. I was blown away by the extra large shopping area, full-scale bathroom mock-ups and their enormous inventory. You can easily spend several hours shopping in here. The inventory ranges from cheap junk to relatively high-end tile and stone. I am in the market for a backsplash and they definitely had tile that caught my interest. I was surprised NOT to see any metal back splash panels, hence the 4 star rating. She was so patIent with me while I took notes and photos too. She helped obtain samples for me to take home, and had gave excellent recommendations for options of using all marble, all porcelain or mixing the two. I went into the Atlantic Ave location. I believe it is Pompano Beach. I knew exactly what I wanted. It was a stair step replacement. I had been to another location and tried to buy them, (in Boynton Beach) but I had some questions about the product and nobody could take the time to help me. After I went home I came to this location with my wife and contractor. We asked if rep if they had a different cap that fit differently than they had on the display. She laughed at me and told me this is what they offer very smugly. She told me they didn't make what I was describing. I told her that I knew they did. The manufacturer had it on their site. She got annoyed and told my contractor what do you want me to do? I pulled up the site and tried to show her the video, but once she knew she was wrong she got someone else to help. That person took us to his desk. He said they don't carry that specific product. He said he would give me a sample to take home and see what it looked like. We didn't want to do that, but his sample was the exact product I was looking for. I said I thought you didn't carry this style of the product. He then changed his story and said they had it. They just had to order it for me. I had enough at this point, because this process took about 20 minutes, and all we found out was they were full of it. I went to Lumber Liquidators, got great service and solid oak stair for 150 dollars. Two bad experiences in two trips. I tried. read more

What started as a nice trip to purchase tile for my home turned out to be a disaster. After asking for assistance as I was purchasing 32x32 tile, no one could help. Antonella, the associate who rang me, was less than nice to say the least. She was rude and unhelpful to put it lightly. She once again offered NO assistance to have someone assist with moving the oversized tiles. I get to my vehicle to load the tile, with no assistance, to then realize the boxes I purchased had cracked tiles. It happens and thought no problem I'll just have them replace the broken tiles. A nice gentlemen (finally) who assisting another customer in the parking lot offered to go get the replacement tiles. As I waited over 35 minutes in the parking lot, I went back inside and asked Antonella if she could assist finding the replacement tiles. Of course, she had no interest in helping and shrugged off the broken tiles like it's a normal thing. Then comes the "manager" Chris. With a full attitude called on the radio to ask if anyone was assisting a customer with broken tiles (over the radio so everyone could hear). Still no response. So it took me taking Chris to my car to see the broken tiles to finally take some ownership of the issue and go to the warehouse to replace the tiles. Not a single apology from Chris or Antonella during this process. Although the store has decent product, the service is awful. I certainly wouldn't ask Chris or Antonella for any help, not that they would offer any as they never did from the beginning. read more

I must say you have amazing product.but the level of service needs to be looked at, some of your employees are less then interested in the customer. I needed help choosing a tile and no one would help us. I ran into a gentleman named Don Amchir from Spears flooring who was in the store. I would like to say the guy was amazing he showed us so many things and told us what he thought was a good tile and was able to educate me on the different tiles. In the end I didn't need an interior decorator as he put together the most pieces and knew what he was talking about. I admire he forwardness, honesty and most of all his humor.. absolutely the best , I felt like I knew him my whole life. Thank you floor & Decor for a great experience with Don Amchir. They will never call you with order updates and you may have to go to multiple stores to fulfill your order. Forget calling your local store because they won't answer the phone, You have to call customer service and wait 45 minutes for someone to "help" you. I am done doing business with this company. The employees you can actually find in the stores are somewhat helpful, but the problem lies with the company structure and processes. Place has great selection but horrible customer service. It is like the people do not want to work. It's a hassle to even talk to someone. I was suppose to pick up my order at a certain time, they took 4 hours to get it to me after we confirmed the pick up days before. On top of that everyone was so rude, playing on there phone. I am attempting my first remodel for my home and decided to start with the bathroom. I found a great reasonable handyman to do the work, all I had to do was pick out the components and materials. Easier said then done. You start my looking on line, talking to friends, realizing your vision has limitations, either financial or structural. I started with the basics, pick out my tile and go from there. Thankfully, I had Jan K to help me out! He walked me around all the different types of tile that was acceptable for shower walls - I had no idea there was different types of tile that wasn't universal or interchangeable and so many choices! We pick out a beautiful blue/gray brindle tile that reminds me of the ocean. This became the focal point for the theme of my bathroom. I wanted an ocean theme, and the tile started to put my vision to reality. Jan then walked me around the store to show me other options, from building a niche, with a different back splash to vanities and mirrors! There were several bathroom designs already on display and he discussed the differences with me. There were so many things I didn't think of such as the glue, grout colors, edge trim and such. I was becoming excited but overwhelmed and the Jan had the best suggestion. He said buy a few tiles of my top choices, take them home and put them in your current bathroom. Start looking at the tiles and seeing what colors and components go with them and how they would fit in your space. You can return the unwanted tiles when you complete your decisions. What a great idea! I had the tiles in my house for 1 week and it really helped me decide on colors, style for the shower, and adding the niche. Because the tile ended up being the focal point that I wanted to highlight, I ordered clear glass frameless shower doors that allow the tile to be seen instead of hidden behind a shower curtain. Because of Jan's help, my project became a enjoyable and not overwhelming. I went back one week later and ordered the tile and picked up a blue (rain color) grout to match the tile and the theme. Thank you for making my first remodeling experience a pleasure and for your guidance in the other materials I would need! My GC and I went to the store, paid for the flooring tile, made an appointment to pick it up the following day, when he arrived the next day, the tile order had been allocated to another order. As a business women, I am beside myself that Floor and Decor would sell product to another customer when I had already paid. This is a display of lack of customer loyal and trust. After months of deliberating, I finally decided on the perfect tile, which I ordered and set up an install date. The flooring was out of stock, so they had to order it for me and gave me an estimated date of arrival, about 6-7 weeks out. 3 weeks later, I received a call stating my tile had arrived early and I could schedule the installation and delivery date, which I did. The company they recommended came out and did the complete demolition of my house very quickly and efficiently. The day prior to my delivery of tiles and materials, (today), I was informed that my tile was missing (had been sold already to someone else)! My flooring is now on back order for over 2 months!! I am FURIOUS!! I now have to live with dusty sharp concrete floors, with my 3 young children, until the flooring arrives, then have to wait for the installers to coordinate their booked solid schedule! I already paid upfront for everything when I originally ordered. I strongly recommend, if anyone orders from this terrible company, to have the tile delivered immediately. Do not trust them to hold the flooring for you!! I will NEVER recommend this place to anyone again!! Surprisingly, employees at the store say this is a common occurrence at the Pompano Beach location and it happens all the time!! Wish I knew that prior to giving them my business. read more

Crooks!!! Bought 1000 square feet of tile. During reno, I slept out of the house to come home to multiple shades of white. Checked all boxes, sku numbers, shades, all matched. When I complained, they stated that I would need a flooring inspector in which they would pay. The inspector favored my complaint stating that the manufacturer/retailer should be held for their mistake. The store offered a settlement less than half of my damages and stated that if I declined they would have to pursue with the manufacturer. So I decided to wait for the manufacturer's response. 2 months later they sent me an email that because I had stopped payment on my credit card, I voided any future claims. Not to mention that I am at a loss on flooring inspector and damages. Bottom line is they never pursued with the manufacturer. Now I have 1000 square foot floor with different shades because that not only these crooks messed up with my tile but they do not take accountability for their mistake. My next step is to go to the BBB and hire an Attourney and try to get some of my loss. Lucky, I was able to place a stop payment, otherwise I'd be $8,000 loss. Stay away. No integrity. read more

I have been to the store multiple times and every time it has been a delightful experience. They have good pricing and a big showroom with lots of variety. This is the worst tile store in Florida; I am not one for reviews but I felt compelled to after the second occasion; they had us waiting for tiles for over an hour after paid for and went to pick ; to come back to say they are discontinued. Neither place or person gave me customer care number until I met Cynthia in pompano. She helped me so much. She was sweet. Cynthia gave me the customer care number (no one else did or even mentioned it). I spoke to Zach at the customer care line and I was able to order my product. Each other person I spoke with told me I had to run around to Hialeah Riviera Beach to get my product no one ever suggested special order until I met Cynthia and then she gave me the number. I appreciate her so much I hope she receives accolades for all her help I certainly appreciate her. Zach also-I am a customer Care line. Both my father and I are in the market to tile the upstairs of our houses. He keeps wanting me to check out Home Depot with him, but I've been pushing him to check out Floor & Decor, as I've been to the Hialeah location and know their inventory is 10x that of Home Depot's. Upon walking in we were quickly distracted by the bathroom and kitchen displays. Maybe you're not quite as excited by home redecoration as I am, but these were truly beautiful. Chuck, an employee happened to walk by us, so I grabbed him to ask a few questions, as my father was specially looking for porcelain of a certain size. Chuck took 10 minutes out to explain the lay out of the store and give us some helpful info as to what exactly all of the labels on the signs meant in terms of tile cost, strength, etc. I must comment as well that this store was a lot less hectic than my experience at the Hialeah location, but to be fair, that was on a weekend, and this was a weeknight. Then earlier today when the delivery came. They send me the wrong one from what I ordered. I don't know what he put on the note. The girl at desk was very rude and my order wasn't complete and they told me I have to go again the next day, so I have to rent another truck the next day to pick up the rest of my floors and materials. 2 day after my contractor called me to tell me that I have 2 different grout colors. Highly recommedn but you DO have to make an appointment online. It can be a little difficult getting design ideas if you just walk in. Jan, was incredibly helpful. Once he helped my Dad and I figure out if there was even enough pieces of tile for our project, he provided great customer service. He helped with grout, a better mix to set the mosaic pieces we chose, and even helped discount a bag after it had been damaged.
