It never improved and now just creaks, but we eventually gave up on trying to fix it. Overall, it was a nightmare experience. Because of that, I was extremely cautious when choosing new flooring this time around. I asked a lot of questions, sometimes more than once, to help ease my nerves. Jacob was the one who helped me, and he was so patient and helpful. He was very down to earth, explained everything in layman's terms, and spoke to me like a friend rather than talking down to me. In an industry that is primarily male, I've often felt dismissed or spoken down to, which can be incredibly frustrating. Jacob treated me with respect and like a person, which I truly appreciated. Jacob also helped me choose the flooring, and the process was surprisingly easy. I told him I wanted a light-colored floor, and he selected three options that closely matched what I had in mind. It was such a relief not to sift through endless samples, which can be very overwhelming. I was able to make a decision quickly, and the end result was perfect. I absolutely love how it turned out.

Most flooring is ordered by Kingsly and either delivered to Kingsly or truck to your location for a few hundred dollars. We purchased 40 cartons of Brazilian Cherry and had it delivered to our home. The guys in the truck were nice enough to unload them into our garage as each carton weighs 50 lb Gave them a nice tip. Normally it's tailgate service meaning they pull up and you take the stuff off the truck. Kingsly also custom makes their own nosing for stairs. It's 80 bucks for a strip, the strips are pretty long. We spent about $9000. Either you or your flooring company should measure carefully when ordering. Our cartons contained 29 sq ft. Because if you buy too much they won't take back less than 100 sq ft and charge a hefty percent restocking fee.

Some contractors come one day and dont come back for a couple days - they showed up every day they said they would be here. The crew, Peter and Miguel, worked well together and so they were able to move through the project quickly. The finished product looks great thanks to their attention to detail. There was a huge miscommunication with every person that has shown up to our home, with guys even not coming at all unless I called Julio. We had asked for the tub to get new caulking and silicone and were under the assumption that he would remove the old one, dry it out, reinstall, etc. but he just added a new layer on top. By the 4th day of this I knew no one was coming so I ended up finding other contractors. They also hooked up the pipes in our vanity and the hot and cold water are swapped, and it started leaking. Sadly I feel like I was naïve to think one flooring company can do everything I requested and the work should have been split between other contractors.

When I expressed my disappointment, their response was literally, "Hope you feel comfortable with other brands." What is wrong with this company?
