I received an immediate canned response that clearly wasn't based on anything I wrote or the photo I submitted. It even included a note about ignoring outreach from other companies. The next message invited me to call Joshua Diaz-Blanks, so I did. My call went to voicemail, I left a message, and I never heard back despite calling during their posted business hours on Saturday. Before they closed on Saturday, I texted Joshua. His response was that his grandmother was in the hospital and might not make it. I was sympathetic, offered prayers, and told him we could reconnect Monday or later if he needed more time. Then nothing. No follow-up, no update, no communication at all. On Monday, I walked into Banner Carpets on Artesia instead and purchased what I needed. It was a small $1,300 job, but small jobs add up and reliable service matters. This was handled very poorly, Joshua. I truly hope your grandmother recovers, and if her time is up, I wish her peace. But using a family emergency to excuse basic lack of communication is not professionalism. At some point, adulting is tough, but following through on what you promise is part of running a business. The house feels brighter, cleaner, and so much more spacious. From start to finish, this company was so easy to work with, efficient, friendly, and professional. Everyone we interacted with was helpful and made the whole process feel much less stressful. Kevin came to my house showed me samples so I was able to see actual colors to match it with my kitchen tiles and feel actual texture. He explained the product details and compared them and he gave me a reasonable price. I did not bother looking and talking to other companies, when the price was within my budget and was told it will be done in 4 days, i was sold. During the installation, they discovered that our previous flooring had actually been installed over the existing tile, which we weren't aware of. They took the time to explain the situation, went over our options, and were completely transparent about what would be involved if we wanted to remove the tile and level the floors. I really appreciated that they didn't pressure us and allowed us to make the decision that was best for our home. The installation team worked efficiently and did a beautiful job. They were friendly, respectful of our home, and clearly took pride in their work. Even though flooring installation can be a stressful process, they made it easy and smooth from beginning to end. And now that everything is finished, I absolutely LOVE our new floors! They are exactly what I was hoping for and have made such a huge difference in our home. Thank you so much to the entire team! I texted Paul some pictures, and he was able to give me a quote over the phone. Once I agreed to move forward, he got me scheduled pretty quickly. Luis came out and explained what needed to be done. Since the original composite floor panels are no longer made, he had to cut individual pieces of white oak to match the exact size and keep the original look of the panels. You could tell a lot of time and care went into it. After carefully piecing everything together, he sanded and finished it to match the original color of the floor. Honestly, when it was done, I could not tell the difference. The repair blended in perfectly with the original floor. Really impressed with the craftsmanship and attention to detail. Mohammad picked up the phone and was immediately helpful. He suggested we FaceTime so he could see my kitchen floor and from there he was just absolutely amazing. He had one of his guys - Eduardo (who's also awesome!) come out to our house after his last job to demo my kitchen that same day, cement the next and on the 3rd day the floors were in. Selection: This Floor and Decor has a great selection of tile, flooring materials, construction supplies, bathroom vanities, and various other construction materials. The tile selection is really awesome when we did both of our bathroom remodels. The 48"x48" tiles were perfect to minimize my grout lines and give my floors and wall a smooth finish. The back splash tile for my kitchen also made it look nice and welcoming. You will be able to find your style here at Floor and Decor Carson. Value: I got my back splash tile for $1.29 per tile, over ordered by 4 boxes, and the staff refunded me with no issues. The 4x4 were a bit more ($84 per tile) but worth it. The delivery fee is decent and not wholly unreasonable but if you pay for the service they will be great at exchanging any broken tile.
