They installed all…read morethis tile and when some of them cracked (25 cracked tiles) they blamed the quality of the tile (it was home depot) and it was not their fault. Royal Plus pointed us at Leclaire flooring. Their remedy was they would redo the work at cost. We did business with them when they were OC floors - over 20K over a couple of projects - but we will never do business again as we had to chase them down to get an answer on a remedy. Be wary of doing business with these people.

I DO NOT recommend doing business with this company. I just spent a year trying to get a small…read morekitchen completed. Everything they did was substandard. The design was wrong -- measurements were off. The installation was wrong and never corrected. They ordered the wrong cabinets and I had to wait for new cabinets to come in while others sat in my kitchen floor for almost a year. There was a lot of turnover -- my designer was either fired or quit before the job started. No one bothered to tell me that. No one stepped up to oversee and really monitor the job. I had to continually stay after them to make progress. At one point, I had to actually dispute the credit card payment I made to them to get them to even respond. They tried to blame poor work on subs (which they subcontracted) and on material delays -- which were worsened by the fact they ordered incorrectly to begin with. The only thing I can say they were on top of was charging my credit card the minute they could. I cannot recommend doing business with this company. If you feel compelled, do NOT sign their standard contract or agree to their standard contract terms. Make sure you withhold a meaningful amount of money until they have completed a substantial amount of the installation. Their current terms reflect about 90% of the entire payment the day the materials arrive. Once you make that payment, you have 0 leverage to get them to complete the work and insure some degree of professional workmanship. Others may have had a good experience with the company. It's possible that my job was the one that got away. But the measure of a company's integrity is not whether they ever have a mistake or an issue BUT how they deal with it when they do. I give them 0 stars for accountability and integrity.

He has a showroom close to Sea Colony which we also visited a few times to help nail down our decisions. Weekend visits were not an issue, as they are aware of the typical Sea Colony owner schedule. Joel was very patient with us as we looked at many samples over several weeks. We are very handy and considered doing the job ourselves, especially after initially receiving a substantially higher price from a different local flooring store before we met Joel. However, Joel's price was so reasonable, we opted to purchase the floors from Joel and have Joel do the install. We cannot say enough about all of the extra effort and excellent detail during the installation, not to mention the kindness and professionalism throughout the entire job. Chad and Scott were excellent installers that work with Joel. Highly recommend them as well. If you are considering installing flooring, we highly recommend Joel.
