If I could give zero stars, I would. Ashton, the sales associate, treated my contractor and me like an annoyance the day we went to select my post-flood tile and flooring. She was reluctant and put-out to look up prices (much of their stock is not price marked in the show room), and had a general condescending attitude. I liked the selection of tile and stone options, and Ms. Ashton is young, so I chalked up that experience to her being a typical millennial. Fast forward to the period of time in which our products should be arriving- Ashton refused to return phone calls from my contractor, ordered the wrong color of stone (after I specifically asked that she call the manufacturer to clarify, rather than go on her own assumptions about the product), reversed the square footage for shower tile vs. floor tile, causing a shortage on the floor and overage on the shower, refused to notify my contractor when the products arrived, supposedly ordered a product that, as it turns out, she did not order.... However, we were not told that until 10+ days AFTER we were told the product should be "in Prairieville" and arriving to Baton Rouge any day. Once the error was discovered, the owner came out to discuss the matter with my contractor (this error is now holding up our job, and ultimately our return to our home, post-flood). Not only did he make excuses about Ashton being a good worker, but fired back that they were "really busy since the flood, and can't be expected to keep up with everyone's order." They also admitted to my contractor that, due to the volume of orders, they routinely told customers a product was in stock, when in fact, the product in the warehouse was earmarked and paid for, by another customer. "Oh well", is their attitude. My contractor cancelled the remainder of our order (which, again, had 2 errors to begin with), called and ordered from the manufacturer directly, and our remaining tile will be here in 3 days. Problem solved, but not because of any assistance from Flooring Depot. Don't be fooled by their selection- they will offer a miserable experience in terms of customer service, at least during this time of high volume, and aren't apologetic. A real disappointment. read more
