At the very least so no other person is in the same circumstance that I find myself in, the company should discard that "sample" of the floors that were in the showroom. This was supposed to be a lovely experience and between Floor Trader (Andrew you were actually very nice and helpful) and my incompetent contractors, this was a terrible experience and I would not recommended doing business with anyone involved in the future. I am aware that Floor Trader is just the supplier and not the manufacturer but they were no help at all when I voiced my concerns and now I'm just stuck with floors that I truly detest. I got the nice padding and now I have two doors that won't open. This problem was not brought to anyone's attention and the install team was long gone when we discovered it. We stopped in on a Saturday and spent most of our time browsing floor options. We worked initially with Alexandra, who was very helpful when looking at photos of our home. She was very informative when it came to styles and options and allowed us to check out several samples to take home. Before the end of our visit, she referred us to another associate to discuss counters and cabinets. He was initially very helpful as we looked at options to fit our budget and space. Eventually, we went with another manufacturer for custom cabinets, so we were now considering only countertops with Prosource. Fast forward 3 months - we found another material we liked at Superior Marble in Portsmouth, which Prosource also carried. We were excited to learn that they could provide and install for nearly $3k less than Superior and with a faster turnaround time. When it came to getting the invoice and contract from the associate at Prosource, he became harder to get hold of. He would promise information and never provide it; would not return emails or phone calls or would do so weeks later. We had to send multiple requests via email and phone for composed estimates and paperwork to sign and to schedule the templating. He ended up leaving the company and we got passed around to 3 or 4 other people to help us with templating the countertops and scheduling installation. Of note, they also requested payment in full to even get scheduled. We paid and got on the schedule for a month later (Jul 30th). After template, it was 2 1/2 weeks to install (Aug 18th). They had a subcontractor complete the template and installation - Mike - and he was great to work with. We did have some issues after installation - sharp edges, a stain and a slight chip after installation and he returned within 2 weeks to take care of those issues and make sure we were satisfied, which we are! Other than the back and forth with associates @ Prosource which were a slight headache, I have no hesitation recommending the product we purchased. We saved a good chunk of money, but it came at the cost of a wait, which was overall worth it. I would consider returning when we renovate our bathrooms in the near future.

The Cherry Flooring Staff- While the product may ultimately matter most, the Cherry Flooring staff are top-notch. I felt like they were family by the time I was done redoing 90% of the flooring in my house. For background, I had just finished two back-to-back overseas tours, bought my first house, and decided to redo a lot of the house on a tight budget and timeline. What could go wrong? Amanda spent so much time with me as I repeatedly came back "just to look" because I couldn't make a decision! Once I finally selected everything I wanted, the dreaded COVID had other plans and delayed the products I had finally chosen... back to the drawing board. Amanda and the team didn't skip a beat. The Cherry Flooring Product- Carpet - The carpet I bought has been great. In hind sight, I should have skipped buying white carpet. That said, this carpet is incredible. I spilled a curry tomato sauce on it, didn't notice it for days, and thought for sure it would never come out. I was wrong! It came right up! Luxury Vinyl Flooring - Initially, I wanted hardwood. Forget that! The LVP is the way to go. So easy to clean, looks incredible, and I will never get a different type of flooring again. White Carpet - your days are numbered. The Installation - The installation was so easy, I was at work and the team kept me updated via text and Amanda checked-in on me multiple times. What can I say, I was nervous! The only issue I ran into was with my subfloor. If I could go back and do it again, I would make sure my subfloor was ready for new flooring. I have places where it wasn't even and had objects embedded into it causing bumps. I also would have added a thicker padding under the carpet. Hindsight is 20/20.
