Just amazing. Chef Oscar and his team have a wonderful 5 star restaurant here in Ciudad Juarez. Our meal was perfect in every way and we appreciate the attention to detail provided by everyone on the staff.
To start we had house made bread, house made butter, Pesto made with pecans, and sea salt from Baja California.
The sommelier (trained in France and speaks 4 languages) recommended a bottle of wine to get us started, a vino tinto that paired well with our appetizers of risotto with saffron, seared scallops that were cooked perfectly, pork belly taco, and jumbo shrimp in a delicious red sauce. We also ordered two salads that we shared amongst the table of four. The salad had goat cheese that was also made in house, and I'm guessing the greens came from the greenhouse outback.
For dinner we ordered an amazing ravioli with lamb meat, in an amazing tomato sauce. A ribeye steak aged in house for 45 days, and the beef comes from the best Sonoran cattle harvested at 40 months of age.
At the end of our meal we had a barista come to our table to recommend a variety of coffee. We settled on the siphon coffee with freshly ground coffee beans.
After we settled up, the sommelier took us on a tour of the compound. We got to see the greenhouse, the rabbits, goats, and chickens.
The outside of the restaurant has a beautiful garden setting with Nogal Trees, green grass, and a beautiful pool water feature. This would be a unique and fun setting for corporate dinners, weddings, events and more.
The highlight of our dinner was when Chef Oscar came to our table.
If you're in Juarez or El Paso, it would be worth your time to come to this restaurant. read more
