I can't say enough great things about this place. We ate at the NE location. We arrived and were greeted by Jennifer. Super friendly considering it was almost closing time. Tiffany was our waitress and was constantly checking on us, always smiling and engaging. My husband had the ceviche and I had the shrimp and octopus cocktail. They are very thinly sliced pieces of tuna that are deep-fried with a delicious sauce. They were not one bit greasy, just heavenly. You might want to make a meal out of them, and who could blame you. Next the tuna bites were lightly fried lying on a bed of avocados, these treats just melted it in your mouth. I could go on and on about how delicious the food was. But I want to tell you a bit more. It's not inexpensive, but for the quality of food you get the price is fair and the portions are large in size. Our waitress was very sweet and went out of her way to bring us the things we needed and to explain the various dishes. The ambience is very pleasant. One is green and one is red but both are good without being terribly spicy. Then they bring everybody a small shrimp consome (broth) that I had to wait until it wasn't so hot (temperature hot not spicy hot). We tried as much as we could in one seating with multiple people to try everything. I have nothing but good things to say. Must return to finish trying the rest of the menu. We had lapa tacos, green aguachile, fish tacos, oysters both cooked and raw, fish chicharron, shrimp ceviche, marinero rice and to end we had some tres leches cake. Everything on the menu is A La Carte which I found it to be a little disappointing since you're in the middle of downtown and there's competitive businesses with awesome lunch specials yet here there isn't one. Oh well. I got a taco (tempura battered fish) and a tostada. Neither wowed me. I've had both items at other places that taste way better. It wasn't bad by any means but not somewhere I'd go out of my way to go to. The restaurant is new and it shows, nice and clean. Service was good as well. The restrooms are in the lobby of the building they are in so you have to find them but no biggie. Parking will be an issue if you're not walking, especially during lunch. Servers are apologetic - if you bring the issue to their attention, but are clear that is not their fault, it's the kitchen fault and the amount of orders they had. I had the whole fried snapper and it was not only delicious, perfectly fried, crispy in the outside and flaky and moist in the inside, but it was surprisingly fresh for a place so far away from the sea. The place was extremely clean, the staff was beautiful but best of app the food was AMAZING. The fish tasted fresh.
