Outdoor tropical atmosphere on the patio of Flora. On a beautiful day, it was the place to be for brunch on an early Sunday afternoon. A creative healthy menu with lots of choice. From Smoothies and several coffee choices to great menu breakfast items that make it hard to choose from. One thing is for sure; all of the choices are healthy. I ordered the Salmon Benedict with a hearty portion of smoked salmon, poached eggs with a runny yoke. Served on homemade Brioche Toast with avocado, frizze salad with an oregano dressing and of course hollandaise sauce. It hit the spot and not too heavy. Me daughter and son in law had the Steak and Eggs, a protein booster with incredible medium cooked skirt steak and slightly crunchy smashed fingerling potatoes. Nice touch on those potatoes, we all shared. They also had the Peach Berry Parfait. So refreshing with fresh peaches, raspberries and strawberries in vanilla yogurt and berry compote. Granola added the crunch to this as well. The service was excellent and smooth. We really enjoyed each other's company today outside dining with great healthy choices and very reasonable prices. I do not want to forget to mention how great the coffee was. Had iced Mocha coffee and Americano ordered before the meal came. There is a paid parking lot right next to Flora. You would need to use the QR code to register your car and pay for timed parking. No hassles at all. I really look forward to coming back. Flora is undeniably cute. The patio is charming, the weather was perfect, and the vibe definitely gives "Miami brunch moment." Even the bathroom is a moment: Stylish, aesthetic, and very much photo-worthy. We were seated outside right away, water came quickly, menus followed...so far, so good. We ordered the steak sandwich and the chicken skewer bowl, plus a watermelon lemonade. Presentation-wise, everything looked great. The avocado on the sandwich was honestly the star perfectly done. That said, the steak sandwich itself was a little too rich. The aioli overpowered the flavors, especially for a $29 sandwich (plus a $3 sweet potato surcharge ). At $33, I was hoping for a bit more balance. The chicken skewer bowl, however, was a hit my friend really enjoyed it, and it felt like the better value overall. Service-wise, this is where things fell a bit flat. We came with my pup Henry, and despite puppy water bowls being scattered all over the patio, our server didn't acknowledge him or offer one ....we had to ask. Small thing, but noticeable, especially at a dog-friendly spot. There also wasn't much engagement overall, no recommendations, no dessert mention, no "how's everything tasting?" When I asked for the check, the response was a slightly curt "give me a minute," which didn't feel very warm. He then went on to drop off water bottles at other tables before circling back to ask if we wanted coffee. All in all: adorable atmosphere (bathroom included), decent food, but mid for the price point and service that didn't quite match the setting. I loooove Flora in every aspect: Tulum vibes, super delicious healthy food, great coffee, and attentive staff. We've come here a few times for brunch and had lunch once as well. Their brunch burger is literally the best thing you can have in the morning - it's super filling and bite your tongue delicious. The plant burger tastes amazing and pairs beautifully with the truffle sauce. The side of roasted potatoes with guava aioli was so good it could be a separate meal. My bf, who is super anti-vegetarian, loves this burger, which says a lot, lol. The avo-corn toast was great too. It had just enough of a corn twist to make it different but still hit that avocado craving. The cacio e pepe squash pasta truly impressed me. It was so creamy! Better than in many Italian restaurants. It also comes with a glass of wine, which completes the experience. Nearly every menu item contains eggs and/or cheese, and they don't offer simple vegan swaps like aioli, cheddar, or cotija. Instead, they charge $5 extra just to remove egg and cheese from avocado toast and add vegan chorizo--how does that make sense? When the avocado toast arrived my husband looked and said, "maybe that is worth $20!" And I had to remind him it was actually $25. For a place that calls itself "plant-powered," it sure makes things difficult for vegans. If you're just looking for vegetarian options, you'll be fine. The avocado toast had good flavor, good avocado, but wish it was two poached eggs instead of one to add more protein. The acai bowl came pretty melted. It needs more to it. Are you kidding me! This is a stupid Overpriced Fake Italian Eatery. 1: Dry square slices of pizza are $10-$11$, Panini sandwiches are $17-$20. They looked very unappealing! Came to Flora for Sunday brunch, we had a rainy day so we ended up staying a little longer than planned. We took a table outside but when I went to the restroom, I noticed that the inside is beautifully decorated and cozy so definitely seating inside next time! The food was great, we were not worried about this place being vegetarian since they have so many good options. We ordered a sandwich, salad, eggs, coffee and everything was good. When we asked about desserts, the manager confirmed that they didn't have any on the menu but that they could create one for us. My friend asked for something with chocolate and they delivered a delicious dessert that everyone enjoyed. The price for the dessert was a little higher than expected, but everyone agreed it was OK to pay a little more for the extra effort. Since the rain was really bad at some point, the outside area started to get flooded and some tables had to move. Our table was in the middle so we were able to stay where we were. This place is absolutely gorgeous and a hidden gem in North Miami. I loved both the inside and outside. Sitting outside on a beautiful day was relaxing atmosphere. This vegan food was delicious and flavorful. Just cuz you're vegan doesn't mean it doesn't have to taste bad. I will say that we did wait quite a while for the middle of the day meal. I don't know if the kitchen was slammed but the manager did come over and apologize for the delay in food service and gave us free tumeric shots. It transports you somewhere else. Even the bathrooms have such a great aesthetic! We decided to order an iced latte, and the Reflect green juice which had apple, celery, ginger, and spinach to start. The latte was very milky so we asked for a bit more espresso and then it was a lot better. The green juice was so delicious and refreshing. I've been wanting it again for sometime. To eat, we shared the breakfast sandwich. It was a big portion with scramble eggs, pesto, generous portions of fresh mozzarella, spinach and an aioli. The sandwich came with potatoes. The sandwich was really tasty and flavorful! The potatoes were cooked to perfection and had good flavor as well. I will say both the sandwich and potatoes were a little bit on the salty side but still allowed for the meal to be enjoyed. They have a good menu with lots of breakfast/brunch/lunch options, along with pastries and drinks (coffee, juices, wines). Definitely will come back to Flora again soon! read more

this is the cutest little spot! the decor is stunning! I loved the tree trunks as tables, and the outside was beautiful. I ordered an oat milk latte, breakfast sandwich, and arepas - all were pretty good (and all veggie friendly!). the latte was delicious and definitely a highlight for me. the only downside was the service - a server only came over to us once we asked the hostess and then only checked on us once. Had this place on me "must visit" list. Came here on a date with my husband for lunch. We had a reservation so we didn't wait. Service was excellent. Menu prices were very high but it's Miami so it's expected. I didn't realize they only serve brunch and not a normal menu. I don't eat meat/eggs so there was only one menu item I could try, I was told. I got a purple potato, vegan meat, rice and beans with avocado and no egg. It was delicious. My husband got arepas and an acai bowl. He loved the arepas, he didn't eat the acai he said it was filled with hard seeds that hurt his mouth when chewed but no big deal we paid for it anyways. So, I'm a carnivore and eating at a vegetarian restaurant sounds like hell to me. But the food at Flora Plant Kitchen blew me away. Their burger was incredible - juicy, full of flavor, and way better than any other vegetarian patty I've had, like the Impossible Burger. I'd even go so far as to say that it was better than some meat patties I've had as well! Their squash spaghetti pasta was also delicious. I don't know how they make their fake meat, but that Bolognese was wonderful. The smoothies were great as well. Flora Plant Kitchen is amazing! The food felt like a spiritual experience. Every dish we tried was full of unique flavors and textures--such a treat. We started with the vegetable tartare, and wow, it blew us away. The tartare was made with this Japanese citrus they use a lot, and it really took the flavors to another level. Plus, the mushroom and yuca chicharrón was so good--super crunchy and flavorful. For the main dishes, we had the black risotto, which was incredible. It's made with black rice and veggies and topped with a goat cheese foam that tied everything together perfectly. Then we tried the wild mushroom and vegetable skewers, which were packed with flavor (a little spicy!) and came on a bed of tomato hummus that was just delicious. To finish, we had their version of a pavlova--such a creative and unexpected twist on the classic dessert. The vibe at the restaurant was super peaceful and quiet, which made the whole experience even better. One important note, it has very nice big tables for parties of around 6. We said we can wait, then she pretended to scurry around 2 more time to see if there are tables and came back to tell us, we don't have a table here.
