What concerned me most was not only that this was written about a customer at all, but that it was apparently stored in a way that could become customer-visible. The owner's response also focused heavily on defending the employee interaction rather than fully addressing the professionalism of the note itself. I understand businesses get busy and stressful situations happen, especially around holidays. But I do not believe customers should be described this way in company systems or accidentally sent those comments in emails.
