This is located behind the Myrtle Beach convention Center, and according to the ticket agent in the parking lot, it is also merged with it, meaning that some events can also be in this sports center. There is a $5.00 parking fee, all day. it is walkable and easy to get around. There was no admission fee for this event, which is good. Basically we walked around a gym, but it made room for tons of art and craft vendors-- and i even brought an ornament for my new tree! Plenty of room to walk around and for vendors. Also went to the restroom, which was clean, and easy to find in correlation to where the arts and crafts were. We also saw tons of bleachers, and volleyball nets in the other gym while we were looking for the bathrooms- so they have mostly sporting events here i would guess. Would definitely be back soon for another event!

Overall the venue was nice and seemed well maintained. Bathrooms were actually pretty clean throughout the event, so no complaints there. My biggest issue was the flow of people. The outside signage could've been a lot better because it wasn't always clear which entrance you were supposed to use. Inside, the concession area felt overcrowded and poorly laid out. You had the entrances, bathrooms, and like four different vendors all in the same area with long lines everywhere. It created a bottleneck and made it harder to move around than it needed to be. Not a bad venue overall, but they could definitely improve the layout and signage for larger events.

If I didn't want to get out the house for a while I might have waited for the movie to come available on tv to stream. The lady at the desk was helpful she scanned my phone and pointed in the direction we needed to go. In the theater the seats were comfortable but the floor was a little sticky like someone had wasted something on the floor. The movie was great despite all the previews. I won't be returning anytime soon because the prices are too much. Only if there is a movie I want to watch early and can't wait for streaming. More than likely I will have to go the less expensive route another theater or streaming.

Four tickets for an 11 AM Sunday morning showing, plus popcorn (we shared two) and sodas, was well over $100. The movie was fine, but the theatre is nothing special and needs some upgrades and TLC. The seats did not recline, and the floors were the typical sticky movie theatre floors. Swamp Fox Cinema has arcade games for kids and offers birthday parties, which is a nice touch. It is close to I-95, so it's one way to escape a boring hotel room if you're traveling through for a night. The movie theatre is one of the few date options in town that doesn't center around eating/drinking, and I wish they had more deals or specials so folks could afford to bring their loved ones and families here.

TIP: Turn the knob all the way to the left to get to the hot water. Now let's talk breakfast - skip it if you like cool lackluster potatoes and eggs. The only saving grace is the coffee, instant oatmeal, oikos yogurt, and dry cereals. There are also a few places to eat up the road if bfast is important.
