[[HIGHLIGHT]]Boasting a spartan interior with lively sountrak.. LC boasts its delish food choices and friendly vibe![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Located in a small strip mall you need to look for it..we were greeted by a sweet young lady and we're seated. We ordered 2 shots of tequila and got the party started. I wanted their pork Chicheron I saw on Yelp and was not disappointed! We also got combo chicken and beef Arepas. For mains we ordered a beef Empanada and a nice Skirt Steak...we finished with Flan and were totally satiated! Great meal..

We decided to try this fairly new restaurant based on reviews we read. Unfortunately (for them), their location is in a very quiet, hidden strip mall. They have a large bar area to eat and/or drink at. We were seated and presented with corn cakes that were accompanied by a sautéed onion/peppers mixture. The cakes were fairly bland and dry, definitely needing the mixture on top. Jose was our server, very nice and helpful with recommendations for drinks and menu items. We ordered the beef Empanadas for an appetizer. My husband ordered the Churrasco and I had the Churrasco with seafood. The Empanadas were very good. A nice crunch on the pastry and well stuffed with shredded beef and potatoes. The Churrasco presentation was great with pork belly & chorizo on top, beans in the middle and the steak with rice, avocado, an egg and plantain on the bottom. The pork belly was dry and over cooked. The chorizo was very good. Beans were good with a nice sized ham piece mixed in. The plantain was bland, though nicely caramelized. Steak was perfectly medium, tender and well seasoned. My Churrasco with Seafood was very good. The seafood mixture was in a creamy sauce, so the steak would have been better separated and not sitting in the sauce. My steak was seasoned, tender and a great medium rare. I also enjoyed the beans & rice. The seafood was shrimp, calamari, mussels and clams, a nice size serving. The Chimichurri served with the steaks was delicious!! Overall good experience, prices on the high end. [[HIGHLIGHT]]For a Friday night there were only 2 tables and 1 couple at the bar, but we wish them success![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Came here with my wife the other day. Tired and hungry. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Immediately got seated and got to enjoy some good soccer on the monitor by our table.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Maria our waitress was awesome as well as the staff who were friendly and attentive. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Good music in a lively, clean, colorful atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food was incredibly good and impressively served with good portions (see photos). The bar offerings were great. My wife had a nice glass of merlot with her meal which was perfect. Dessert was home made creme brûlée that was out of this world along with a good cup of colombian coffee. Definitely a spot worth coming back to.

Welcome to the neighborhood LA Chiva. We had a wonderful time and good laughs with staff. Best wishes!

This evening we met Maria. What a doll. So helpful and professional. Appreciate that you educated us to speak Spanish. Joe as a retired NYPD DET. has so much knowledge to understand this beautifu language , unfortunately I do not. But still we communicated very well and we had an amazing evening!!

Food is good. Been here twice and first time the chiccharon was perfectly crisp and cooked, second time seemed more stale and chewy. Drinks are great! Service was okay. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Only thing I think could improve is the seating arrangement - the tables and seats are literally squeezed together back to back.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]My friend got closed in by another party behind us of which one of them was sitting side by side her, facing the other direction. Definitely uncomfortable.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]If they took just one of the tables out it would make space all around.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] She had to ask them to move and move the table to get out bc she was trapped in lol. The prices I think are pretty high, for what you're getting. The sides are like $7 each, even for plain rice. We had ordered an item that wasn't listed on the menu yet bc the waitress had informed us of it. Yummy - but wasn't advised it was a $30 app! For a few pieces of chiccharon, guacamole and tostones - seems pretty pricey. The skirt steak is amazing! But the waitress had informed us we could swap the original steak cut on one of the platters to skirt steak and didn't advise us it was $10 extra. Would've definitely appreciated being informed beforehand. Food was good but bc of the prices alone, probably wouldn't come here often. Not the best bang for your buck.

Bandeja Tipica. This is what farmers would eat in the morning to fuel the day. Without the sangria!

Love this place! My wife and friends who we have dinner with went to this very authentic Colombian restaurant last night. One of our friends is Colombian, and when we lived in Queens my wife and I woud go to the Columbian restaurants in Jackson Heights regularly. Not only was the food delicious, but the ambiance was exactly what we experienced in Queens. For those that haven't, the places are usually decorated like a small village, with balconies, artwork and memorabilia. The staff is always young and friendly, and there is loud music, which may or may not be a turn off for some. The music makes toy feel like dancing, and although a new place, the staff say there are plans for dancing once a week. We also saw the bar area was very open and fun, plenty of younger folks just hangin' and having drinks. Presentation was very nice and clean. We've been to 2 Colombian restaurants around here and this is our favorite so far.

The food was so delicious! Large portions (definitely shareable) and the service was fantastic! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The music playing in the background was great as well.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My husband loved his skirt steak as you can see in the pic. . The arroz paisa is a huge portion I could not finish it! My daughter had the garlic shrimp which was amazing. The chicharron with guacamole and tostones was also amazing. We will definitely be back!

Great food, & very nice, relaxed atmosphere. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Very casual.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Great music and staff was very nice.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] A little expensive but worth it.

The service was fast and excellent. They were patient and kind and greeted you with a smile. The chicken soup was great, and so was the rice and beans. The portions are generous, we will definitely return

We were welcomed and immediately seated, choosing inside seating and started off with a pitcher of their fruited Sangrias and complimentary salsa and chips. The food never disappoints. Tried the Papas con Queso, potato skins with sausage, cheese and guacamole, which were delicious and definitely not the usual skins one gets at other restaurants. The Churrasco Argentino was outstanding. The shell steak perfectly cooked medium rare at medium topped with chimichurri served over sliced tomatoes with a side of rice and string beans. The Carne Asada skirt steak was also perfectly cooked topped with roasted corn salsa, cheese and queso fresco served with tostones, guacamole, rice and beans. The combos were varied and very good although some of our party stated the taco shells and tortillas were a little soggy but still flavorful. Overall a great restaurant serving excellent and varied Mexican dishes at reasonable prices and generally well portioned.

I'm Colombian myself so seeing they had a bakery I was thrilled since majority don't. I went inside and no one else was there so i assumed fast service. Unfortunately I was wrong. I made eye contact several times and they proceeded to what they were doing. I of course waited and the gentleman took my order. They did not have buñuelos so I got pan de bono and 2 chicken empanadas with a soda. I had to wait for the empanadas which was fine for freshness. The wait felt longer than needed and more so I was forgotten and they proceeded to do what they were doing. There was several people in the back and looked like they were doing renovations since a ladder was in the front. Just felt very disorganized and lack of recognition that the they were open. While my empanada's were hot but mediocre in taste, my pan de bono was cold and dry. For the wait it would've been nice if that was heated up. Total was $16 for my $3 soda. Overall it felt steep and a waste of money. I was left disappointed and now still looking for a good Colombian bakery with actual good customer service.

It was almost filled to capacity with lots of diners enjoying their meals. With great Latin music playing and laid back vibe, I was looking forward to a great meal. John our server was polite and efficient. We started off with traditional Peruvian golden lager, Cusquena. Crisp and delicious! Two ceviche appetizers and two steak entrees. We're ceviche lovers and throughly enjoyed those dishes. The Honey enjoyed his Lomo Saltado. The traditional Peruvian stir fry dish. Strips of beef sirloin, red peppers, onions and tomatoes. Served with French fries and white rice. My Tacu Tacu Steak with rice and beans was a hit, and miss. The steak was tough and the rice and beans, really "starchy". It's hard to explain they tasted heavy and sticky. The portions are generous so I had leftovers for home. Surprisingly, the dish tasted better the next day. The menu highlights their Happy Hour and Wine Down Wednesdays. We're looking forward to returning for one or both :) of those! For some warm vibes, good service and fresh food this place is worth a visit. Thank me later.....
