5 assorted Fresh made empinadas and sauces! Soooooo good!
    Lou D.

5 plus plus plus Top Empinadas on Long Island! Excellent service! Highly Highly recommended! Very reasonably priced! I let the owner pick me 5 of his favorites! Soooooo good! There are tons of choices from traditional fillings to "outside the box" fillings like Chicken Pot Pie. My 5 were totally top notch! I can see them being assembled and made in the back, which is a neat, clean, and efficient kitchen. I would consider and recommending ordering 100 or more to go or for catering an event. You wont find a better empanada on Long Island unless your Noni is at home in your kitchen making her secret family recipe!

I love to see a street spot in Suffolk county. I am not usually in the area but I was looking for something just like Eatcetera Deli. Definitely more catered to take out but they do have dine in options and the food is excellent. Along with the great service, they also have multiple options with such a diverse menu. It was hard to not want to eat here everyday for lunch. That alone shows that I will be coming back soon.

Stopped in here while in the area for Work. Wow great food at a great price. Huge portions too. The girl at the counter was very friendly as well.

Authentic empanadas! Great customer service! I love the authentic Colombian soda selection as well. Besides the empanadas, the platters are all very tasty and reasonably priced. The only minor complaint I have is that they don't always label / separate the different empanadas but I will continue giving them my business !

Super friendly, cool vibe inside. Ordered the crunch wrap, and it couldn't have been better. 11/10 recommend !!

Do not miss the opportunity to try these delicious juices. Refreshing and delicious.

You ever have a favorite spot that you go to to grab a delicious bite to eat...but you really want to keep it a secret because it's so good?!? Well, they say loose lips sinks ships...but in this case, loose lips gets to munch on some delicious empanadas and much more! This deli cafe offers some of the most authentic Spanish style empanadas, rice, beans and of course, pernil as well as a variety of tacos, wraps burritos and their authentic Cuban sandwiches. Did I mention how delicious the food is? The variety of empanadas is mind boggling and it's made FRESH to order!! You won't be disappointed...it's that good! While you're waiting on your fresh empanadas, grab one of their delicious tropical juices like mango, guanabaña, or passion fruit or a great cup of cafe con leche. In this trip, I ordered the bucket of empanadas and just had to grab one on my drive back to the office. Kudos to Mike and his hard working crew. They make you feel as if you're a part of his circle and you get a friendly smile and a hardy hello! I've done my job to best describe this spot...now do yours and make your way to Eatcetra and support your local business!!

I had to double check that this was the correct place I was reviewing because of all the great reviews posted about this place. We were so excited to try this restaurant because of the almost 5 stars it had. I told my husband order a couple of different thing so we could try them. My mom ordered the Cuban sandwich, she hasn't had in since the 90's at the la cubanita in Brentwood where they were made perfectly. This half a "real Cuban sandwich " was not good at all. The empanadas were overcooked and definitely not fresh. The beef and onions tasted like pure onion. Just like Lipton onion soup mix. He ordered some type of meat with red peppers, weird flavor. We literally threw out almost everything.

The House Sampler also included empanadas!

So glad I discovered this hidden gem thanks to a friend! This place serves delicious Latin American food! You can eat and also play games of ping pong, chess, checkers and table top soccer. It's a small eatery with only a handful of tables but well worth the visit. I tried the house sampler thanks to some Yelpers photos and it was incredible! The service here is a little slow but it can be overlooked due to how good the food is! Love the vibe of this place and will definitely be back! For all the dessert lovers you MUST try their sweet empanadas. My friend and I equally adored the Nutella and Cannoli Empanadas! Amazing!

I ordered what may be the perfect breakfast sandwich: eggs, burrata, prosciutto, arugula, and hot honey on a fresh poppy seed roll. Every flavor worked together perfectly. The guys working there were kind, efficient, and even gave me a military discount, which I truly appreciated as a veteran. Great food, great service, and definitely a place I'll stop at again the next time I'm on Long Island.

It is hard to have food, especially breakfast delivered and not have to heat it up. The pancakes were perfect. Not burnt or dense, the fruit on them was still cool and all perfectly ripened. The sandwiches were exactly as ordered and the perfect mix of ingredients. The one area of improvement would have been the way the coffee was packaged. It was packaged in paper cups wrapped in Saran Wrap. By the time it made it to us the coffee had sufficiently spilled out of the cups which saturated the paper and made the Saran Wrap a wet mess to get off. Other than that I would highly recommend them for breakfast food even if it will be delivered.

So completely disappointed in you , John…read more Maple St. Deli has been a huge disappointment, especially considering it's within walking distance of my home. It's a quaint neighborhood deli with over 100 years of history, which is why I kept giving it chance after chance. I've ordered from this deli many times. They have frequently gotten my order wrong, but I never complained. I simply accepted it and moved on. On Father's Day, I ordered three egg sandwiches around 10:00 a.m. I arrived at 10:30 to pick them up and still waited another 15 minutes. After spending about $35, the order was wrong. Again, I let it go. Today was the final straw. I ordered two egg sandwiches and a small deli iced tea for delivery. The total was $33 before tip. The owner, John, delivered the order himself. He rang my Ring doorbell twice but never knocked. We completed the exchange without issue. When I opened the bag, the order was wrong--again. I called and politely asked to speak with the owner. I explained that my order had been made incorrectly. Instead of trying to resolve the issue, John hung up on me. I called back three more times, and each time either he or his staff hung up on me. I drove to the deli to speak with him face-to-face. His response was simply, "That's unfortunate," and he refused to remake the sandwiches or offer any refund or solution. Everyone makes mistakes. What separates a good business from a bad one is how those mistakes are handled. I wasn't angry about an incorrect sandwich--I was shocked by the complete lack of customer service, accountability, and basic respect. After years of overlooking mistakes and trying to support a local business, this experience has guaranteed I will never return. There are plenty of delis that appreciate their customers and stand behind their service. Unfortunately, Maple St. Deli isn't one of them.

The sausage & egg were not large enough for the bagel. This was also one of the more expensive bagel sandwiches I've bought in the area and I don't think the quality matches the price. The place also felt messy and unclean. Maybe the quality and cleanliness would have been better if I got food first thing in the morning, but I don't think I'll be heading back here anytime soon given the other options in the area.

So I made my way over there to try em out. Long Island really rapes you on a bacon egg and cheese, or at least this crap-hole does. Paid something close to $9 and it was god awful. I have a hard time believing this ever could have been good. I see 80-90% of the pix on here are from one dude three years ago, some look good n all, but this place is anything but. Hard pass.
