I loved that the wait was under 15 minutes. The staff was friendly and super sweet to our kitten. Once we were called into the room with the doctor, I was happily shocked how quick everything was done. The nurse treated Boots with care as the doc gave him his shots. I was more nervous then Boots. The way she rubbed him on his neck relaxed him. We received his head worm meds and proceeded to check out. I could not believe how affordable the bill was. Thank goodness for this clinic. I have passed by this establishment so many times that l should own stock. I finally went and made an appointment for Sable and GiGi to get their shots and their nails clipped. I have never seen these 2 kitties so well behaved. You can feel the love from everyone that works there. They called their former Vet and had their records sent here, they explain everything and it's just a very nice and professional set up and they don't put a huge hole in your pocket what's important to me is how my fur babies are being taken care of and we all appreciate it. They were not as anxious as l thought and they were quite relaxed on the way home, literally a 2 minute drive from home. I even took them across the street to a neighbor's house for a few minutes. This facility is not a full service facility but if you need a referral they will readily have referrals available . The last few visits l had with my former Vet, because of Covid 19 restrictions l was not allowed to go into the examination room with my pets. I understood the precautions but it still made me uncomfortable. I wholeheartedly trusted my former vet who l have known for more than 10 years on a professional and personal level. I respectfully abided by rules and regulations set up to keep everyone healthy and safe. This facility gets 5 stars from me. read more

I just moved here from Orlando and needed to find a vet. My real estate agent recommended Fl Aid to animals. I just left the Palm Bay office with My Giant Schnauzer Boris, who can be a bit much. First I made the appointment with the wrong office. They still took me at the Palm Bay office. Everyone from the front desk, the Dr., all the help in the back, as well as the people checking me out was so very nice. Boris had to get all his shots and a blood drawn. He seemed alot less agitated then he did at his vet in Orlando. The customer service was great. They were so efficient and I was even helped by one of the employees recommending a new harness. So now instead of Boris taking me for a walk I take him. So glad I found them. Thank you all for being so helpful and kind. The little guy comes in the end of the month. read more

I emailed them over a week ago and still haven't heard back. I believe they over use Convenia like candy and after giving it to my baby THREE times in 5 weeks (3rd time without consulting me first prior to her dental that day) I researched it and found very sad things about it killing dogs and cats! There is even a Facebook page about it. I have since been battling very puffy itchy eyes for her even though I told them after the first dose that it constantly made her eyes water. They never even told me to give her probiotics but I put her on them anyway to combat the fact they completely wiped out her good gut flora! They gave her a rabies shot and had me give her worm meds and flea meds....basically filling her with nothing but CHEMICALS for no good reason!!! I guess you get what you pay for! Cheaper isn't always better. Do yourselves a favor and research Convenia for yourself before letting them inject your babies with it!!! And demand they let you see the insert before giving it to your fur kids. They told me nothing about it other than it's more convenient than pills. What they failed to mention is that it stays in the body for 65 days and there is no way to get it out of their system if something goes wrong!!! I have been bringing my pets to FATA of Palm Bay for many years, never had an issue. My current dog 'Leia' has been seeing them for 3 years now. Her last two annual visits were completely fine. For some reason, this time was different. It takes only once to mess up in my book, especially when it comes to my babies. I'll tell you why. Leia is all around pretty good around strangers; she just gets nervous. Typical right. Well, when the vet tech came in (new tech I haven't seen there before), she immediately approaches Leia. Without any care, she grabs Leia's leash and starts trying to get her to come. Of course, Leia isn't having it because this stranger just comes in and grabs her. I then suggest for the tech to use a muzzle when administering the vaccines and anal expression. Leia slips out of her harness and goes back under the chair. The tech then grabs the slip leash and proceeds to drag her to the door to bring her in the hallway. Leia is rolling and freaking out hitting her face on the ground, scared to death. Tech continues to drag her by the neck... Now I am unsure why the tech had to bring Leia in the hallway to do the vaccines, nail trim, and anal expression. Every time going there, they always do it in the room with me near Leia, on the fold down table. There was nothing wrong with that table because when they came back in, Leia was put on the table with the vet so they could examine her more and administer the last vaccine. The next day I notice Leia is super traumatized, she is super sad and just wants to be held. Leia's behind is draining excessively, so I grab a warm damp paper towel to wipe and clean her. I notice her anus is bleeding. I try to take a closer look; I notice what may be an abscess and her anus is super irritated. This seems to be that the anal expression was done with no attentiveness and force. May of been done completely wrong, who knows. All I know is that I will no longer be bringing my babies to this business. My dog is traumatized and hurt. I do not want FATA to respond to this review. Please just consider being more attentive and kinder to the animals that come through. They are already scared and innocent. I hope this review helps anyone looking for a place to take their babies. read more

This place is okay as long as you only want to get shots or buy heartworm medicine. That is absolutely ALL they are good for and the reason I have then two stars instead of one. This is NOT a regular veterinary office. If your dog gets sick and you would like it seen sooner that a week away, you had better have a backup vet. I don't think they are very nice on the phone, when you have to call them, either. read more

I took my aggressive dog in for a nail trim. They were wonderful with him. I know he's a jerk, but I love him and want what is best for him. They spent a great deal of time trying to calm him down before we resorted to sedatives for safety reasons. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. read more

Please...If you truly care about your Pet..Stay away from this place..This is a true story..After having our Yorkshire Terrier for 15 great years it became painfully apparent that his quality of life had taken a serious downturn.Not wanting to see him suffer any more the decision was made to put him down.Florida Aid To Animals told us that we have to run a series of tests to determine if this was a terminal case.The cost for all these test would have been close to estimate $ 700 to $ 1000 US dollars.Please explain the logic here...I have spent 15 years with this great dog...But Florida Aid To Animals without spending 1 Millisecond with him knows better than i do.This is about Profit for their company.This place is disgusting. read more

I called to make an appointment for my cat....the lady seemed rude and short tempered...waited 30 minutes in room before my cat was seen. They did not do an exam only shots. Went to check out and pay, had to wait before the lady would acknowledge me standing there. When I did get waited on, she was extremely rude and acted like she was doing me a huge favor...I won't be going back to this half baked establishment. At least at my regular vet they are nice...it cost a little more...but you don't have to put up with being treated like dirt. read more
