Storm Proof started the job after our Palm Beach County permit application was submitted, but was never issued a permit before starting work. His office and Kent promised to complete job after 95% paid; and has never returned since December 2025 . Leaving an incomplete roof, no permit, no inspections, and no payment to the tile supplier. Kent's staff claims they have all quit and are tired of receiving calls for help. I heard through the local industry grapevine that Kent is ill and was hoping to complete his jobs that people were burnt on. That was months ago and Kent won't return a call, email, or text. Hopefully Dr. Karma will give him the prognosis he deserves.

Any bad plywood on the roof was replaced with new wood. They were very thorough and efficient. New tiles were stacked on the roof. No heavy trucks were used on the driveway. No damage to property. Immediately after accepting the offer and paying a small down payment, the company began working with me on which tiles I would choose so that the materials could be ordered. This was so important to me because I voiced really wanting to have the project completed before Fla hurricane season 2024 was in full swing. We went over the HOA requirements and Erica from Hyer did her research finding that many of the HOA approved choices were either discontinued or were on a very long waitlist. We decided to choose a color pattern that I liked and run it by my HOA with proper documentation and see if we could get it approved. Erica did all the leg work to get the documents together needed for my HOA approval process. With her help, we got the approval for the project and Erica immediately then began work on getting the city permitting process done.
