My door has a huge gap in it, so the cockroaches that are in every apartment come through my door. Any maintenance request you put in, they put a bandaid on it and don't fix it properly. But then they will bill you because the problem isn't there. My newest neighbor just moved in with her kids... and her unit is already flooding from an existing problem they knew about from the previous tenants leaving the place. Now there is mold in the walls, and all of us are dealing with the headache... even though JWB gutted the apartment 2 months ago for flooding damage.

Called office, she came and vacuumed. I needed to wash clothes, washing machine was old and filthy, dryer old and covered in gray paint, and had some taped to back wall inside. I called office and notified them. 2 weeks later after several more calls and sending photos to Laura Siemsen, she sent a maintenance lady to try and clean. lady took one look and said no way to clean this mess up. Laura Siemsen then told me she was going to try and get washing machine from another unit or try to get a new set. This week on Wednesday, new washing machine and dryer installed. The day after I moved in, discovered 3 electrical outlets on kitchen counter, did not work. I was told by Samantha Malone that maintenance was short workers, due to illness. The truth was , complex maintenance was preparing for an inspection by U S HUD. all maintenance was busy sprucing up complex. Last week walking into my apartment, found a maintenance man trying to repair electrical outlets. he finally said he would have to call contractor. Next day electrical contractor showed up, had to cut 4 different holes in wall in dining area, hallway by washing machine, bathroom and linen closet. I asked electrician, if I needed to make maintenance request, she said no,they had reported it to office . I called office on Tuesday, and was told next day holes would be taken care of as well as washing machine and dryer installed. Holes and patchwork, 2 areas were partially done.Bathroom and linen closet not touched. Yesterday I called office at 2:47pm and was told this problem would be taken care of by 5pm yesterday or today. it's 6:48 pm now, no notification, no maintenance, nothing done. This place is a nightmare, poorly maintained and very poorly managed. I urge whoever reads this, do not consider moving here and going through the problems I have endured. Thought we should share our experience with Vesta Employee Denny. We have told many of our family…read moreand friends and have been asked to share it with social media. We participated in an event at Kings Point and we had the displeasure of speaking with Denny over the telephone. This is Denny: She accused us of stealing porcelain decorative home accents and tableware. Denny stated there were video recordings of such atrocities. This deplorable woman went on to say we had to bring everything back immediately the next day. I am elderly and my heart had dropped hearing this. I immediately started shaking, went into panic mode, and denied what never happened. I offered to pay for everything, and Denny said no money would be accepted. My children heard the conversation and stepped in to console me. My children as well denied taking the aforementioned items but wanted to see the video recordings being held as evidence by Denny. Denny said she would have them. We all knew this was a lie. The next day we went to the Clubhouse and spoke with the Manager Matt, who apologized profusely for our treatment. I again started feeling lightheaded, started shaking, and lost my balance. Kings Point is my Paradise, and I refuse to give that feeling up. Matt confirmed my fears that I was not going to be allowed to participate in any further activities because of Denny's accusations. Management reviewed the video recording but would not let us see it. Another Supervisor said that Denny admitted she was wrong and we did not steal the items she accused us of taking. We asked to meet with Denny, we thought it was appropriate that she at least give us an apology, but she was in a "notorious meeting". So, This is Denny, people like Denny are here to prove and remind us how low some people have fallen from our Earth. No, Denny should not be terminated, we all must eat, pay bills and wish others the best, but maybe if she were demoted, she could feel the humiliation she put me and my family through.
