The check engine light came on, the vehicle had no coolant, the windshield washer system was not working, and I later discovered that the front tires were completely worn and unsafe and that the vehicle needed additional maintenance and alignment work. I immediately brought the Jeep back to the dealership, where it stayed in their shop for two days. They told me they had resolved the issues and specifically told me that the check engine light had come on because the vehicle was low on coolant. They assured me the problem had been fixed. The very next day, I took the Jeep to another shop for an inspection, oil change, alignment, and maintenance. I was given an estimate of approximately $1,200, including the replacement of the front tires because they were completely worn. I contacted the dealership immediately and provided them with the documentation and evidence from the other shop. Instead of trying to resolve the situation, I was told, essentially, "the deal is done," that the vehicle could not be returned, and that my only option was to give up the vehicle and damage my credit. I was also told that it was my responsibility to have inspected the tires before purchasing the vehicle. Today, August 24, the check engine light came back on. I checked the coolant, and it is completely full. This directly contradicts what I was told--that the check engine light was caused by the lack of coolant and that the issue had been resolved. At this point, I no longer feel confident that I was given an honest representation of the vehicle's condition. I work hard for my money, pay my bills, and trusted this dealership to be honest with me about what I was purchasing. After a couple of days, Fred texted about another arrival, but I chose to wait for the original vehicle and I could see both then. About a week later, Fred called to let me know it was available. My brother, dad, and I went in to test drive it and started negotiations. We managed to negotiate a slight reduction in price. We even left saying we wouldn't return but came back the next morning to finalize the deal. I'm glad I did because you don't notice every flaw on a car at night. If you can, bring a mechanic, check the oil, look under the car, inspect the interior, and lift the floor mats. Not all issues will be disclosed, so it's important to protect yourself. During financing, there were several hidden fees not clearly disclosed, which raised the final price. Some fees made sense, but others were unmentioned, like a mandatory warranty for cosmetic items that couldn't be removed. They also advertised a three-day money-back guarantee, but at the end, I learned my car wasn't eligible due to its mileage. The process overall was less transparent than I expected. Please read the entire experience. Bought a car from Florida Fine Cars, the Margate lot near Miami. my sales person was Blake. Blake did an outstanding job running his tail off with all of my questions & video clips and pictures. I was purchasing this vehicle 9 hours driving away. So Blake did an excellent job in the beginning, however, after he felt that his duties was completed he basically ghosted me. I feel your sales person should be there after the purchase? There was to be 2 fobs stated in purchase agreement. hear the relationship got a little strained as I only received one functional fob and a second auto parts cheapie which did not work. I'll touch on this again a little later. Next the closing of the purchase was not appropriate. The financial manager (F. Ansari ) who does the closing paperwork tried to stick me for $150. I had to bring on my sales person again to correct this mistake. After the closing, I returned home, the car was shipped without issues other then the wrong 2nd fob. Sent a certified package to the dealership with the wrong fob.. This man (sales manager) signed for my certified letter & package and never communicated to the proper department or pass it on to anyone, he didn't mention it to anyone. Keep an eye on this gentleman if he is your closing sales manager. He seems to be arrogant, and not a happy employee. That's of course is just my opinion. Because of his failure to notify anyone of my certified package communication was totally lost. I spent numerous hours attempting to contact the dealership manager. This in itself is a poor look for any car dealership. Once I did get to the manager, a Juan Contreras, he had done an excellent job sending the full amount to purchase the proper fob in my location. I bought a 2020 BMW X5 with a faulty AC unit that they said they would fix. I took the car back for service only to have the service department put freon in the system to cool the air for a few weeks. I called them back to have them fix the AC they promised to fix at purchase. They said they would have to send it to another shop to have it fixed since their AC equipment is broken and they cannot fix it. I was told that if it would take longer than two days, I would be provided a loaner. I gave them a week before calling back to ask for said loaner. They immediately told me that since my deal was over a month, they could not provide me with a loaner for an issue mentioned at purchase. They told me I would have to come out of pocket to get a rental car if I needed transportation, even though they had my car. This place is the biggest scam, and I would not recommend it to my worst enemies. They also ask for you to do a review before you even reach finance so they can up their review numbers; I should've known then that this place would cause me some headaches. Sales managers don't take accountability for anything and always use the ruse of some big bad "general sales manager" as the bad guy. They will have my car for another six days and still refuse to give me a loaner to handle normal daily activities. Unsat customer service and let "policy" overrule decent common courtesies. The policy was changed three times during the 10-minute phone call with the sales manager. A few things here: -I bought a Mercedes from this dealership, and during the closing paperwork, my salesmen asked if I was interested in purchasing some bootleg DVDs. This would set the unprofessional tone for the rest of my experience. -They lost my license, called to tell me they found it, and then advised that they could no longer find it (again) once I drove there and wouldn't reimburse the $25 fee for a new one. The salesman and Supervisor got in a heated altercation right in front of me while trying to point fingers at each other. The car I was interested in wasn't at this location but they assured me they could retrieve it from they're other dealership in Margate.
