Similar to another reviewer, I had a concern about possible damage to the underside of my Honda while I was visiting in Hollywood. Since I am about to drive the car 1200 miles north to go home, I wanted to be assured that there was no serious damage. I've never been in a hit and run! But Thanksgiving weekend after dropping off a friend as I was getting on 95 in pompano or happened to me. Scary! Since I couldn't catch the guy to make a police report (which means no insurance coverage for me) I had to start the search finding a collision repair place. Had 5 businesses send me back a text to call them but only Flame Auto picked up the phone and called me. Great customer service! Carlos got back to me within 10 minutes with a quote & estimate of how long it would take. After doing a great job on fixing my fender he also had his team check for Axel damage & with a few simple things it was ready to go. I'm officially making this place as my main mechanics since they do excellent work for all types of car issues. My car got scratched on Thursday night (now Saturday morning and I have my car back) in a parking lot by a shopping cart. I would need to pay out of pocket. I went to a few places and not only were they charging INSANE prices, the turnaround time they gave me was not possible for me. On a different level, a few of the people I spoke to were totally rude/bad to deal with. Anyway, I call Flame and Carlos picks up, personable, didn't give me the run around, told me "hey, based on what you said it'll be this much, but it could be more but yes don't worry I'll do it right away" Son of a gun, not only did he do it perfect, he got the car back to me the next day. I came in for a bumper adjustment and a dent removal. Amazing job with dent removal. It looks like the bumper was forced on, some corners are still popping out and some clips are not connected completely. The bottom splash shield was hanging down. And "somehow" the right headlight stopped working and the windshield wipers as well. The only way he was able to help was refer me to the mechanic next door who would have surely charged me for an issue my car did not have when I brought it in. After denying and being furious, he was gracious enough to take $100 off the price. So I thank God that he was kind enough to do that. read more

RIP OFF RUN!!! Flame Auto / Carlos charges $1600 for work never performed on my BMW and replaced my battery with one half the size which screwed up the electrical system. I took it to a reputable BMW mechanic for a second opinion, and he said Flame Auto didn't even do the work I was charged for as all the original factory parts were still on and there was No evidence of any recent work on my car. Place is a scam. I came to get my evap system inspected and they inspected everything but that. just nicked and dimed me on other stuff that was irrelevant. They also started ordering things and replacing things that I didn't tell them to. charged me $70 labor to replace spark plug wires which is literally a 5 second job. They didn't even do it right and my car was running worse and I had to go home and fix it and put them on myself. I asked them to smoke test my car and the guy didn't even know what that was and I had to teach him what it does. Eventually, I took a look my evap myself and found and fixed the problem in 10 minutes. This place is fraudulent. They just want to milk you out of money. It could of been worse but thankfully I know a little about cars. Do not go here! read more
