    The isopods you can touch

Such cool touch areas for kids and up close encounters! We bought the bucket pass and got to feed 6 types of animals/fish.

The aquarium was a wonderful experience for our grandson! The staff are so friendly and knowledgeable about the animals and made it a great day. We will be back!

Great place for learning about and interacting with marine life. Cost $30 per adult. Large aquarium tanks in the middle one showing reef type fish and the other tank with predator and more aggressive fish. They have a pool with 3 to 4 foot gators that you can feed. Bring change for the machines. Large lobster tank. You can feed the tarpon, jacks, and parrot fish. You can also feed the lobsters, stingrays in the big pool, and the turtles. We bought the 6 feeding punch card which costs $15 you get one for free. Definitely worth the trip.

Spectacular, awesome, entertaining, educational...and so on. We love to visit when we are near and no trip to the keys is complete with out stopping by!

Amazing time with the family with variety of fish to feed and stations of fish to touch, stingray, starfish, turtles. Loved the environment and great experience overall. Went in winter, no crowds or humidity.

This is an ideal site for kids- plenty of touch pools and lots of information regarding habitat. As an adult, not so much. We could have probably viewed the whole thing in an hour but spent time feeding stingrays. It is clean and well managed. Cost wise, it is expensive: $30 per adult and if you wanted extras like swimming with the fish, the cost was way too high to justify. The restrooms were clean. We did not eat there. I would not go back for a second look unless I had children under the age of 8 with me.

This place is great for families! Supper educational and quaint. You will be able to feed lobsters, fish, stingrays, turtles and more! Our 6 & 7 year old loved it! Besides feeding they have live feeding by the staff which they provide you lots of information. All of the employees were so welcoming and kind. They also have a cafe on premise. Great stop if you are in the area with kids.

The aquarium is a must do. This is one cool place. It is different from other aquariums. First the staff is incredible. They are happy to work here and they are knowledgeable. They welcome questions and are approachable. I like that you can feel, touch and feed some of the aquarium residents lol. FYI bring cash if you want to feed anything. The feedinds are cash only. The place also has shows going on all day. It is not a big place. I would plan on spending a few hours here. There is do much to do. Check out the webpage before coming. I suggest getting here early. This place has a lot of things to offer. The aquarium is easy to find. It has a big wooden fish hanging in front. It has a good size parking area. It is next to beach. It is a family oriented place. I had a great time. I am glad I came.

Visited this place yesterday and it was great for families and kids especially. Highly recommend it if your looking to take the young ones on an adventure for the day, get some activity filled in for the day. Bunch of interactions with sting rays , crocs , sharks and much for to keep the kids busy.

I came to Florida Kets Aquarium with a friend, who is a member. I loved it, but it is quite small. They have various types of sharks, and other local fish, as well as turtles and stingrays. You can literally do the entire place in less than an hour. I found it to be a bit pricey as well, $25 per person plus tax for such a small place is a lot. I get it though, these places rely on tourists to feed and rehabilitate these wonderful animals. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because of the size.

I've been to many aquariums that are much larger but I happened to love how much this place had to offer. We easily spent two hours here, and could have spent more. They have many interactive opportunities and it appears clean and the animals are well taken care of. It was really beautiful, my daughter especially liked the many touch tank options. The rays were very friendly and seemed to like to be touched. We fed the tortoise, it was fun to get up close and personal. Would definitely go back! Check out their website as I know they have more to offer.

I also called them and they were informative and helpful. I chose to dive all 3 days with them and I successfully logged 10 dives. The Rainbow Reef teams were great. They have multiple boats, they run a tight ship and made it a pleasure to dive with them. I do hope to return to Key Largo for more diving and I would certainly use Rainbow Reef again. I can highly recommend them.

We do want to say that couple of the staff really stood out for excellent customer service - Jo as a dive guide was amazing, as was Savannah on the retail side - but the overall attitude is very much like you are just a number to fill seats. I question the safety standards. We went out in pretty questionable conditions (there was still thunder and lightening when we left the dock), and we witnessed people diving that really had no idea what they were doing, were bouncing around, kicking coral, not at all in control of themselves in the water - and none of this was directly addressed. The customer service in the dive center was pretty terrible - after we purchased over $1000 in equipment at their retail store, we were told we would get a free dive. Cool. So we booked a dive for 3 days later, and when we showed up, we were told that because we booked online instead of calling them, we could not use that free dive. We tried a few times to get this resolved and were just told "well that is our policy." There are so many options for diving in this area, I do not recommend this shop - they do not seem honest or like they really care about the dive experience, just filling seats.

We got to watch two presentations with the keepers. Afterwards, they were doing a medical check on a particular dolphin that was having stomach upset. A nice man came along and told us "a keeper smarter than we will be along soon, but I can answer your questions for now. Oh, there's someone smarter than me now!" And he gestured to one of the summer interns. They both laughed. He told us all about each dolphin and their story. He told us about the hurricanes 10 years ago, and how the water rose far above the dolphin enclosures, offering them freedom, but none of them left. It was clear he really loved these animals. He walked away to assist the team working with the dolphin. The intern turns to us and says "that's the founder of this place. He's here every single day. He's the smartest of all of us!" She was great too. She said she's been dreaming of being a dolphin trainer since she was a kid. She was from Texas, but you could tell she was exactly where she was meant to be. I hope they hire her permanently. We loved the dolphin research center and will definitely be back someday!

This time, however, we brought our kids along too. In 2021, my wife did an encounter that included shaking hands/flippers with a dolphin, rubbing their back as they swam by, and performing a couple basic training signs. For this trip, we each did the Memory Maker Meet encounter, which included the shaking hands/flippers and back rub, but most importantly, having a dolphin paint us a picture. We each chose two colors and held a canvas out while a pair of dolphins (Reese and Louie on that day) took turns spinning around with paint brushes in their mouths painting the canvases. It was very much worth the time and extra cost. Throughout the day there are opportunities included even with basic admission to watch training sessions or learn about caring for dolphins. You can very easily have a fun day and support a great cause at the same time.
