Janis Jeffers and Brooks Patterson who are both in the same office were referred. I called their office at what happened to be their lunch hour, I left a message. Within 10 minutes of thier lunch hour being over I received a call back. We set up an appointment for 3:00 PM (less than 1 hour later). I went to their office, filled out the typical paper work and was seen very quickly. (The office was busy) In probably 20 minutes Dr. Patterson had X-rays and the crown cemented back in place. Dr Patterson made a recommendation to see my dentist local to where I live for a permanent solution. The residents of Islamorada are very lucky to have such quality dental care as what is provided by this office. I highly recommend them. Everyone from the office staff, the dental assistant, the dentist and other patients were in good moods and happy to be there. For such a bummer reason to visit their office I am glad I had the opportunity.

It would have been nice if they would have mention that it's above the West Marine and that the stairs are on the right of it. It also sucked that I was calling and calling to ask them for directions and they didn't pick up the phone. I called 4 times and it just rang and rang. I managed to find the place and I even called them as I waited in the waiting room and just as I expected, the phones didn't ring. They had the volumes taken off which is a nice trick to not take care of customers on the phone. I was the ONLY client there, so it's not like they were busy taking care of anyone or the phones. And yes, it was the correct number because it was the one I originally used to make my appointment. SERVICE: I've never met such lifeless people at a front desk. I know service went to crap after the pandemic but this was something else. No one smiles and no one looks at you in the eyes. I waited quite some time for the doctor to come in to see me. I was the ONLY client there and I saw him on his phone (cell not work phone) while I passed his office. So why the insane wait time? I waited 45mins siting in the lobby before I was called in, and again... I was the ONLY client there. You can tell when people don't really care about the business. This probably wasn't his business so not much skin in the game (pun intended). The consultation was pretty efficient, that's the only thing I liked. DECOR: The inside was small and awkward. There was a nice view in the room I was waiting in for the doctor. The outside made me anxious to go inside. SUMMARY: I could have the same things done elsewhere, I'm not sure I'd come here again.

I found myself needing some emergency work done on my teeth while in the FL Keys on vacation. Not only did Dr. Maya see me in a timely manner, but I wish he was my full time dentist. Lovely man, compassionate, caring, but most of all and most importantly, great at what he does, and he was exactly what I needed. I cannot speak of him highly enough, and I recommend him wholeheartedly, whether you live in the Keys or are lucky enough to find yourself vacationing there. He's more of an artist than he is a dentist, which is so very important to find in a dentist. Wish I could give more than 5 stars!!!

I was skeptical and got a second opinion with an ER doctor and an Orthopedic Surgeon whom both stated the injury will simply heal on its own and surgery is not necessary.
