I was very sad to learn he's moving to Delaware and won't be able to do my other two surgeries. It's a very scary path when talking about eye surgery. The reason I had this issue is I used an Orlando plastic surgeon to do lower lid surgery and he just botched it. Eventually it healed good enough that I wasn't hideous. The right corner of my eye over the years started bunching and tightening in the corner. Scar tissue I'm guessing. Dr Ross asked who I used, and as soon as plastic surgeon came out of my mouth, he said people should never use a plastic surgeon for anything but body treatments like breast, tucks, liposuction etc. I guess people aren't aware of this, I sure wasn't. Said same about the nose & ears. Who know? Said most are not qualified to do eyes as they are a more complex surgery. So far I'm on day 4 and things seem to be healing well. Not too much bruising or swelling. My post op is this Thursday. Hope he's pleased. No pain at all. Some tenderness, probably from the bruising. The surgery center staff were the nicest people I've ever had at ANY surgery center. PLYS DUDNT MAKE ME COME IN 3 hrs prior to my time. My time was 12, to me in at 1130 and took me right back. By the time I was prepped, they took me right in. What's the purpose of a three hour arrival time? This was such a great surprise. Shout out to all of the surgical staff, especially Paula. She was one of the nurses. Just so warm and comforting. The nurse anesthetist could have been on the lighter side but she was ok. Now I found his scheduler not as pleasant or friendly as everyone else I had the pleasure to work with. Dr Ross will miss you! Best of luck in Delaware.

I continued and attended my appointments and was told TWO DAYS before my pending surgery that the lenses I needed were almost $3000 for each eye Due to my eye shape. I could NEVER reach the surgery scheduling person SHALANDA I had to call the front desk several times to have a message given to her. I was never told that the doctor only performed surgery "ONEDAY A WEEK" When she did finally returned a phone call I was told that there was an additional fee that my insurance does not cover an "ADDITIONAL 798.00 for everyone" almost an additional 7,000.00 for me. It took SHALANDA five days to call me back and she was already scheduling into the next month this is a huge waste of my time and I was never offered a discount for all the inconvenience from the doctor himself and nightmare this turned into. I have asked for every penny to be returned to my account, but considering how badly this is all turned out I have my doubts on how well that will be completed. My time ....I guess they think a "I'm sorry" is good enough.This is a business, accept responsibility for all the errors that you caused. When I need to see him I can always get in. This was true, also on one day when I had an eye emergency. Having a highly competent eye doctor is of the greatest importance in my opinion. I have had the exact same exam with Dr. McManus for the past 5 years which is a yearly check up for age related medical issues. I have never paid for anything but my deductible as everything was covered by medicare. This time when I went the office staff said I owed $85 towards my medicare deductible for the year so i paid it because I knew my deductible was not yet fulfilled. Several months later when checking with my medicare I found out Tres Vision never billed medicare and my deductible went to another doctor's appointment. I went back to Tres Vision and spoke to the billing department and they told me I was put in as a self pay patient so the $85 covered that visit. I told them i have never been a self care patient and Medicare has paid for the same exam for the past 4 years so I wanted them to bill medicare and give me my $ back. They insisted medicare wouldn't cover it and it may cost me more but I insisted again so finally they relented and said they would bill medicare. I then received a record from medicare that they sent them $93 so I returned asking for my $ back. Tres Vision said they wouldn't give me my $ back because I had a refraction exam for glasses. I don't wear glasses and have never received a prescription for glasses and have had the same exam for 5 years in a row from Dr. Mcmanus so I didn't accept that explaination. The bottom line is I received 3 different stories from 3 employees of Tre Vision and I paid what they said was full payment of $85 for a (self pay) exam and then they received $93 from Medicare for the same exam and they would not refund me ANY of my $. I have canceled all future appointments with Tres Vision for myself and my husband due to their Dishonesty!!
