They post a lot of them on the walls when you enter. I come here bc it is inside and I'm like oh it's good to hang out inside when it's a scorcher out. But unfortunately since it's old it's not very cool in here. It's still a cool spot and happy they use it for many community events. There's parking in the lots and around it and mostly free so there a bonus. Make sure to take a trip upstairs. It's a cool view and you would def see what I mean by reminding you of Back to the Future High School Prom Vibe.

The attendees were in an abundance of friends, family & supporters. The last time I visited the Coliseum there was a Back to School event of which I volunteered. Florida in summer was very very and having escalators inside and outside to move around was helpful. Classrooms downstairs were well prepped as was the tradeshow floor. There were an adequate number of bathrooms all around and water stations as well as thankfully a small store onsite. I found it easy to navigate where everything was.

Parking onsite in the garage was easy to find and there was plenty of clear signage pointing me to the convention center entrance. It was just a quick 2 minute walk across the street. Upon entering, I was able to follow the directional signage to find my meeting areas and the expo hall with no problems. The facility was clean and I noticed plenty of staff members maintaining the space throughout the week. I conveniently stayed at one of the hotels across the street and it was a very short, easy walk each morning. The convention center also sits on the the Tampa Riverwalk with stunning views of the city skyline right on the water. On one night of the conference, Visit Tampa Bay hosted a stunning "Discover the Bay" party for all 3,000 attendees and it was amazing to see the space in action for a big event like that. Multiple food stations and bars, passed bites and bussers, live band and DJ, roaming entertainment, and even a docked yacht we could board... it was all so well-executed. I'm attending the Tampa Hyrox competition being held at the convention center next month, and I'm even more so looking forward to it now that I've gotten lay of the land. I can see why Tampa is such popular destinations for the MICE industry. Ease and convenience go a long way.

Francine and Anna Joy were extremely helpful during the planning process. Anything I asked for, they made happen without hesitation. On the day of the wedding, they took care of everything to make sure it all ran smoothly. They did an amazing job on the décor and they communicated with the vendors so I didn't need to worry about that. Also the food was SO good!! and everyone had the best time if you can't tell from the pictures :) I couldn't have asked for a better wedding and I am truly grateful for everything they did for my husband and I. We'll, this time it worked out perfectly. The experience was even better because it was shared with a friend. So, it was easy to get a ticket through Fever. Just select the date and time slot. I think the only difficult part was trying to make that u-turn to get to the parking lot entrance on Dale Mabry Hwy at 10:45 am. Everything else went smoothly once in the parking lot. I must admit that I wasn't expecting much. I mean, how could this compare when you've actually seen the original artwork? Well, now I can say that I totally understand the hype. It's all in the presentation. Seeing his work displayed in this lighting and on the 360-degree screen really brings the paintings to life. The 3D displays of his bedroom in Arles and the entrance hall of Saint-Paul Hospital brought out the struggles in his life. His last work was displayed in a meaningful way showing darkness & mental anguish. "Tree Roots" was one of his last paintings before his death in Auvers-sur-Oise. I'm not going to spoil it for you. There's so much more. I think I was most excited with the fact that I could get an AI generated Van Gogh portrait of myself. Miss Judy and Quinton where extremely helpful in setting it all up for me. What's amazing is that it generated a portrait that looks almost exactly like a younger version of my mother. The scene is in a French café with coffee & a croissant. It was her favorite place to be. Seriously! There's an extra fee for the portrait. I thought it was worth it. My brothers got the same feeling I did when seeing it. That's mom!! Yep, it most definitely brought our those inherited features from my face. A great experience! Did you know this Immersive Experience may be a permanent exhibit in Tampa? It has been very well-received at this venue. I hope it stays. I'd go back again.

One thing I captured and remembered the most was that he was color blind. I can't believe he was color blind with all of the color and beauty he created. I was touched by all of the presentations here. From his face to the starry night. To the sunflowers and many flower vases. I loved the sunflower room and the complete immersive room of all of his arts. It was very lovely and calming and so happy that I was able to view this with my wonderful friend. There are coloring activities for kiddos and you can take your face and reproduce it into a Van Gogh Like Portrait. There's also a gift shop area. There's also a Virtual Reality experience for a fee. This appears to have been a car dealership building and it's next to the Infiniti dealership so there is a lot of parking, but no shade. The parking is free though. The staff is super welcoming and friendly and fun to interact with. You can walk through this as many times as you want and capture the details you missed on your previous walk through. Enjoy and take it all in. It's so worth it!
