Took the printer in late morning. Came back that afternoon and saw pictures of the inside of the machine before he cleaned it. Obviously hours of work for multiple people. Printer works great! Buyer beware! I placed an order online with NBI Name Badges…read morewhose parent company is World Emblem. I sent a high-resolution logo that we regularly use for printed material, including promotional items like name badges. NBI accepted the order and produced it without informing us that our logo would be nearly unreadable on the material that the badges are made on. When I received the badges I immediately called them about this. They requested that I send them a photo, which I did. NBI Name Badges then emailed me back to say that there was nothing they could or would do about it. So I called them; they admitted that this was a printing issue but would only offer a 10% discount on a new order as an apology. I suggested that this was not fair since they're the experts and they should know that the logo would not print properly on their material. As a compromise, I suggested splitting the cost of a reorder. The head of customer service for NBI told me that they wouldn't offer more than a 10% discount. I hope that at least some of you who read this will decide that NBI Name Badges is not the kind of company that you want to entrust with your printed marketing needs, and will chose another of the many companies who produce logo imprinted items. Incidentally, the order was also several days late, which meant that even if the badges were acceptable, they arrived too late for the event that I had ordered them for. The bottom line is that NBI Name Badges and its' parent company, World Emblem do not stand behind their products and should be avoided. Caveat emptor!

Tom and I talked about using some of our pics from trips and moments in time as living room wall art. We figured it would personalize the space and remind us of fun times. CanvaFab's site has a nice gallery of work. But what really did it for me was their easy-to-use software that let me upload my pic, try different products and sizes, see my art with my options and get a price for the custom work. We picked 32" x 16" size canvas and were concerned the images might look fuzzy. But on my screen each pic looked great, so we started to put an order together. Then they emailed me a new customer code for 50% off my first order. Yeah baby! That tipped the scale and, willing to take a chance on the picture quality, kept ordering. I got emails during the process - I knew when they got the order and when they shipped the order. They managed my order without being asked - thank you CanvasFab. It's refreshing to just stay out of the way and watch you manage your business. If only more companies would do that...(maybe a handyman wouldn't have installed 2 door knobs on the same door in my house, one on top of the other. I have pics.) The pics came in a box that was well packed. I could have picked up the art in their MIami shop but I opted for delivery instead. The quality was beyond our expectations! We were going to get simple frames but in the meantime we ordered 'mirror edge' pics on canvas - they look so good we are not getting frames! We have some special times coming up and we look forward to sending our pics to CanvasFab so they can work their magic.

The color was supposed to be beige and it was almost pink. They tried again and sent me a picture and it still wasn't right. They asked me if I wanted a refund and I said yes. Then 2 weeks later Paypal sent me an email saying that the refund was canceled. I sent them multiple emails about that, called them and even messaged them on instagram and 0 response. I thought I would give them more time since it was December and I figured they were still on holiday. It's almost February and still no response. Thankfully Paypal is very good about these things and they opened a case against them and will give me my money back!

I didn't need to spend $250, all I needed was a package of boxes and a bag of biodegradable shipping peanuts. Riverside Paper, my usual to go refused to budge even though I've been a customer for over a year. So I called Broward Paper, at first they said they were only servicing clients with accounts because of the canary virus, and if I wanted to purchase I needed to open an account with a minimum of a $150 purchase. I didn't want to spend the $150 either, but the woman who I was talking to was super! She allowed me to come in and buy exactly what I needed without an account, I was only required to bring the exact amount of cash. I don't think Riverside has lost my business, but they lost some of it. I really loathe driving to Miami because I can only go down there within a short window because of the traffic. On the weekdays rush-hour literally ends at 11 am and starts again at 2:30 pm in Miami. I kid you not, and god help you if you get stuck on the l-95 because of an accident which they do every day multiple times a day. Basically I have to adjust my whole day just to go down there. Broward Paper is centrally located around many places and businesses I frequent, so I am definitely going to purchase from them again, and I'm eventually going to open an account.

I needed about 200 shirts and sweatshirts screen-printed for FIU Medicine. I called about 10 places…read morein the Miami/Broward area for quotes, and found that GN Signs had the best deal. I (being technologically-impaired) thought that sending a picture of what I wanted printed would suffice, but the owner's son called to explain that the design had to be done in a certain format so it could be enlarged without getting grainy. Since I was unable to do it myself, he graciously had another employee design it properly and sent me a proof within the day. I made several changes, but they worked with me in a quick manner until it was exactly what I wanted. I had the shirts/sweatshirts shipped from the supplier directly to them and they had the entire order done in about 6 business days (as promised). I was a little nervous that the lower price would mean lower quality, and also nervous because there were no Yelp reviews for them, but I was very pleasantly surprised at how great everything turned out!! And I have washed the shirts without the print fading or peeling. I will definitely be using them again, and wanted to share my experience in case anyone else is having similar doubts about the lack of Yelp reviews. Thanks again GN Signs!!

I've had good and bad experiences there. Have had them fail to match their own paint swatch/color…read more(which they acknowledged because of a technical issue) and had to return it and get it remixed. I've had them scan swatch chips with worse match results than other BM stores. I've also walked in the store, was the only one there and the clerk with the accent sat behind the counter looking at his phone, ignoring me while I was standing right in front of him --and finally responded with a smart aleck comment. It might be worth driving to the Davie store to get better service.
