I recently stopped in to pick up a printer cartridge. I didn't notice when I bought it that it was almost double the price on Amazon. Luckily I was still in the same plaza so I walked back to the store to return it. The sales associate asked why I was returning it and I told her. She said that they price match and asked to see it on Amazon. She was checking to see if the seller was Office Depot (which it wasn't). I guess they only do price match if they are the Seller or on their website. She pulled out her phone to check their website and saw that it was the same price as Amazon. Every time I buy printer cartridges for my epson printer it never works. I believe these cartridges are refurbished. Straight rip off. It will print cartridge status sheets to use the new ink so you can buy more, but won't allow you to print your own stuff. read more

Customer service is everything! I rarely give a bad review; especially if there is some effort to be friendly, helpful, and fair! The Davie Office Depot store's employees exhibited the exact opposite of those traits. I am a long time teacher and our school has a generic list of school supplies that is suggested for parents. I told the parents attending orientation that I don't need many of the items requested and said if they didn't buy their child's supplies already there were only a few items that our class really would need. I had one parent tell me that she already bought everything on the list at Office Depot and I should return what I didn't need and instead buy supplies the students would need. I figured I'd only return a few things that I had large quantities of already & since the parent gave me the receipt/packing list I didn't think it would be a problem. I went with my receipt/packing slip that shows EXACTLY HOW MUCH WAS PAID FOR EACH ITEM. The receipt shows it was paid by VISA & I waited in line to return 5 items and get a store credit and in turn buy other school supplies that were needed. I was told I would have to take a lesser amount than was originally paid due to restocking fees. (I only had 2 packs of notebook paper, 2 packs or erasers, and one pack of EXPO markers. ). I could have restocked the items myself in less than 2 minutes; but instead of getting the amount that was actually paid, $9.39; I received $3.52! They actually credited me 1 cent each for packs of notebook paper...and this was with a copy showing what was paid originally! I actually spoke to the manager, Jairo, because he happened to be at the service desk and he just stated that this was the policy and then walked away without any effort to rectify the situation. Not even an "I'm sorry, but this is corporate policy." I can see now why this store has a low rating already; and if this is in fact corporate policy I will never make purchases at Office Depot again! read more

I need a blueprint printed and I usually went to this location to use their self service large format printer. I put my USB drive with the drawing in the printer and received a message that the proper size paper needed to be loaded. I asked an employee behind the printing service desk to load the proper paper, she said she needed to ask her manager who replied "we don't do that anymore"! I mentioned the proper size paper was behind the machine and was told the same thing again. I sought out the stores general manager who tried to help me but she did not know how to load it and the print manager acted busy and ignored her request. The print manager at this store needs some customer service training as he is lazy and could care less about the customer's needs. I will never set foot in this store again. I then went to the next closest Office Depot and was give the same BS answer. I then called a third Office Depot and asked if they can do it for me. PATRONS BEWARE! DO NOT purchase essential electronic devices and equipment from their stores/this company. I was forced to eat over $500 with no attempt or consideration of replacing an unused, brand new, defective computer. They also refused to honor the additional two year warranty purchased towards a replacement. I have been ignored and lied to in person, through email as well as through their corporate offices. This was the worst experience at this Office Depot yet. I walked in to print some photos . I explained that my pictures would need to be printed on photo paper. The attendant told me to use self service. So I did and it prints on regular paper. I came back to him at the front counter and said this is not what I need it's on regular paper. He said "I have to sell you the photo paper. How many do you want?". I said I have many to print I would like to place the order for them to be printed same day. As I am following the instructions I don't see an option for the normal dimensions that most print. I ask him for help and he says oh we can't do that. This attendant helped another gentleman on the self service machine but did not assist me at all. I would never use this location for print services. Better off going to Walgreens or CVS! read more

Purchase from Fort Myers store March 2021. I only give 1 star because the color and finish of the desk were accurate. Other than that the computer desk was pure trash. I should be able to break it down and shove it in a box and dump it in front of the store. A huge waste of $170. My husband is super handy and assembles furniture all the time. He said that he had never seen such disaster. The hardware was just horrible, the whole furniture is substandard and somewhat defective. We ordered an adjustable desk from Walmart 1 week later, my husband put it together with no issues. We soon will dump this new unusable desk and purchase a better one from elsewhere. Now I know why Office Depot has vanished. They sell garbage. I should have believed the negative reviews. read more

Over it! I spend over $100 a month using copy and print services and each time the service has gotten worse and worse. Today I went in to just copy and bind and the employee behind the line could not have been any slower, I could have dealt with that, but the complete lack of customer service was beyond me. While I was there a customer asked if anyone was on the floor to help her, she responded "no we are still waiting on people to come into work" really?! I have this same job done month after month and the Office Depot on the other side of University gets it done with no problem in under 15 min. When I asked her how long it would take she told me if I could find someone to help her it would be sooner. Don't think that's what I asked, nor implied. I'd rather invest in my own printer and binding machine and do it myself, you have lost my business Office Depot for life. read more

Terrible costumer service; save your time and don't go . They lied, ignored you, waste of time.

This store is usually very clean, with helpful employees and staff. However-I recently have needed to patronize the "copy and print" services and they have been sub par as of late. I came in to get something laminated on a Monday evening around 6:30 and waited for 20 minutes. First I was completely ignored-then I was acknowledged and then they turned around to help people who came in after me from the other side of the counter. I got a haphazard "sorry" but that was it. Even after she took my items from me to laminate-she went back to the other customer without even putting them in. This is the closest place to me for office supplies and unfortunately one of the only places that supplies the laminate thickness I need-so I'll continue to bring things here. However I'll make sure to come when there is nobody else here or drop things off. That shouldn't even be necessary since laminating takes about 2 minutes. read more

Have visit this location several times. They have great management,and customer service. There is always a gentleman that I am assuming that is the manager, he will do cashier, copies, delivery... He always is making sure that we are taking care of. I mean by we " all customers". I am glad to see a store that cares. read more

DO NOT TRY TO GET YOUR IPHONE SCREEN REPAIRED HERE... I paid a discounted price and when he opened it up he said that he cannot fix it because of the red indicator that was showing moisture. This is a joke considering that every other iPhone repair company doesn't even blink an eye about repairing it. I will never go back to Office Depot to get my iPhones repaired. I was very disappointed in my experience at this particular store today. I had to go in to set up an appmnt to get a piece of furniture assembled and the guy who was helping me was so incredibly rude and did not want to do his job at all. He kept groaning and made many frustrating sighs as he searched for the particular piece of furniture that needed to be assembled. I kept my cool and smiled at him when all was said and done and told him to "Take it easy" and his response was. "Yeah. right." as I walked out the door. It was in the middle of the day, he probably only been there for a few hours, yet he's acting like its the most painful thing in the world to be there getting paid for doing this stuff. Some employees need to be grateful they even HAVE a job. There are many less fortunate than them. read more

Today I went to get my new nail liscense lamented and I also had my old nail liscense lamented with the picture so i asked the staff Amanda to take off the picture of the old liscense and put it on the new one...she didn't speak clearly so I did not understand a single word she said then i had to asked her at least 3 times of different questions which she can or can not lamented my new liscense and so she hand me the scrissor and glue..... even then the new lamented nail liscense looks very thick after I was done with payment I still insist in complaining how it's not possible which is bullshit... like she don't care about customer satisfaction...very pissed off read more

I went in today looking for 2 black ink cartridges. Was met by Kathy and explained what I needed. She went behind the counter and got my cartridges. I was in and out in 5 minutes. In all fairness, my complaint is as much about corporate management of all Office Depots as much as it is about this particular store. As average consumers, without a business or a great need to frequently buy office supplies, we have attempted to use Office Depot's reward program, which theoretically offers $2 back for each recycled ink cartridge , to no avail. Our latest attempt ended just as badly as our previous attempts. We submitted three used cartridges in May, and we were told that points for them would be awarded at the end of the month; therefore, we could apply the 600 points (200 per cartridge) in June. As the reward card offered by Office Depot is the only one we have that is not laminated and the account number was not readable, we were assured that the rewards would be sorted during our next visit. When we returned to Office Depot to buy printer ink, we were told that our account could not be accessed in the store as we needed to bring in a printed out copy of our reward points accrued with the bar code. We pointed out that we could not print out this copy as we needed printer ink!! The clerk just shrugged when we asked how this could be resolved and we were told we had to call Customer Service. There was no way that the situation could be sorted at that time in the store so we could buy the printer ink we needed. When we went online, after calling customer service and sorting our applicable email address and password, we discovered that we had zero points. We called to inquire why our 600 points from May did not appear on the account, and we were told we probably did not make a qualifying purchase, which is a requirement for the points to be accrued. We were not told this in the Davie store. We were also advised that all points must be used within a quarter (three months) or they would be lost. "So," I told the customer service representative, "even if we submitted the other 7 to meet the requirement of recycling 10 cartridges, since points are not redeemable until 10 cartridges are submitted, we could not redeem the points till the next month, July. But July is the the start of a new quarter, so the points for the cartridges we submitted in May would be lost??" She said they would be. It's obvious that Office Depot has devised a system to entice people to spend money with the hopes of being able to cash in reward points that for the average consumer, are nonredeemable, and that the salespeople on the floor are clueless as to how the system works. I will take my business elsewhere as I do not want to support an establishment that operates in this manner. read more
