This location is a 21 and up location all the games Inside where the bar is are included in your five dollar price point. They do offer discounts if you work at Disney or Universal, etc., they have some snacks as well as the Chinese food next-door to eat as well. Tonight I decided to have the cider boys caramel apple for seven dollars. It is probably one of my favorite sliders that they currently have and I also tasted the 1911 sugarplum cider. ~ Skyliner Bar Crawl - Part 1 ~…read more For my wife's birthday in March, we decided to revamp our Skyliner Bar Crawl and it was a great success! In this series of reviews, I will review all the bars we visited on our crawl. I will provide my opinion of each of our stops and give tips for anyone who wants to build their own Skyliner Bar Crawl! The Skyliner is my favorite attraction at Disney and this is my ideal Disney day. Location: Technically there are two locations at the "start" of the Skyliner (Hourglass Lake). We recommend starting at either Petals Pool Bar or its Art of Animation sister, The Drop Off. It's up to you which you prefer, as they have identical menus. This time we chose to start at Petals. It's a standard pool bar with standard poolside drink options. The staff is friendly and it's close to the lobby of Pop Century in case you need to cool off in the A/C for a minute. Petals opens at 11am, but since some of the later stops on the crawl don't open until the evening we usually start between 1pm and 2pm. Drinks: Like I said, the drinks are pretty standard here. Basic tropical cocktails, wine, sangria, and beer are all available here. I can't get excited about most of these drinks, but if I were spending a day by the pool this would do just fine. Food: The food is the most lacking aspect of Petals for me. We deliberately chose bars that also have food for every stop of our crawl, but Petals doesn't have much to offer in this respect. They have basic sandwiches, soft pretzels, bags of chips, and ice cream. I would recommend skipping the food here and waiting for the next stop.

It is outside and does have a few tables around the bar area but outside the pool area. If you are not staying you cannot sit by the pool. They also have seating at the bar. This was our second stop on our Skyliner Crawl. Their menu is not huge, they have a full bar with most liquors. They also have a very limited selection of food items, mostly snacks like pretzels, ice cream and a couple of sandwiches. They also have some specialty drinks. We chose the specialty drinks since we were doing the crawl. I went with the Hula Hoop which had coconut rum, melon and banana liqueurs, grenadine and pineapple juice. It was really good, I really enjoyed its. It was light, not too heavy alcohol taste and had a great sweetness to it. It was not heavily sweet, I felt it was a great drink for those that don't want to taste the alcohol. My husband ordered the bourbon breeze, which had cranberry, bourbon, lime, pomegranate juice and ginger beer. He really enjoyed it. It was definitely a stronger drink, but it was good. Our friends ordered very similar drinks as us and they enjoyed both of them as well. They also have beer and wine, but I feel a nice mixed drink on a hot day really hits the spot. We also ordered one of their giant pretzels with came with the classic Disney fake cheese. Who knows what it is actually made of but it was good and hit the spot. I will say pay attention, some of the drinks come with a glow cube and they will charge you $2 more for that drink. If you don't want the glow cube, it's the same price but you get a tad bit more of the drink. The bartenders were really great as well. They were fast, efficient, let us decide what we wanted and offered suggestions. It was really great cast member interaction and a great start. I would highly recommend the Skyliner crawl (hitting all bars attached to a resort on the Skyliner) and I think this is a great stop. Even if you wanted to go over to a resort to get away from the parks, this would be a great one. Jump on the Skyliner and head over. Grab a drink and enjoy the Florida weather. Pro Tip- go to the left of the bar and you can get cups of water and ice if you want. Fill up your cup when your drink is finished and get some water, walk to your next resort!

So when I heard about a show in Kissimmee, I was ready to hit the road in my midlife crisis, red sports car with a good friend. Sun on the Beach is located in Old Town Kissimmee, close to a bunch of hotels, restaurants, and of course, other entertainment venues. There is some parking, but I left my car in the hotel and we Ubered over. The space itself looks like an industrial warehouse that was converted to a nightclub with lots of open space, kind of like classic Wynwood. Judy Torres' performance was 6/5, no doubt! Her singing took me back to the all ages parties in the late 80/s & early 90/s, to borrowing my parents' Cutlass Cierra and going with my then girlfriend to sit behind the airport and watch the planes #iykyk. She dances with great moves as if our generation never aged. Before her act, we sat through two hours, more or less of a warm-up DJ act that was all sorts of mix from freestyle to Bachata to Reggaeton. The other warm-up act was Sammy EXO, who sang a few tracks. Besides the long warm-up act and wait between the headline performance, my friend and I waited in crowded bar that could've used another bartender to get a couple of sweet watered down drinks. I know we're adults and extensively have a little better tolerance but come on you want to feel a little bit of a buzz. Besides that after driving three hours from Miami, we might have been a little tired :) I had to ask around to get at least one chair so we could get to recharge a bit. The only seating was in the VIP area. Admittedly, I know yeah VIP but maybe having some lounge areas or some seats at the bar would make it a little more comfortable. Another complaint is that there is no in and out like with a wristband. Heck we couldn't even go to their outside bar. Although it has the same name and was in the same property, we couldn't go to the other bar for a change of scene or just to get a break from the long warmup act.

Many of the special effects depend on the cast members interacting with guests, so visiting earlier in the day is a good idea while everyone is still at peak energy. The drinks are expensive, but they're tasty, strong by Disney standards, and absolutely Instagram-worthy. You can also purchase some excellent tiki mugs. The food menu is limited, but what we tried was good. Be aware that you'll probably share a table with another party, but that can make the experience even more fun. I always have a great time here, and my friends do too. The last time I visited, I ended up sharing a table with a witch doctor. We started talking about magic, exchanged spells and trinkets, and I gave him my lucky goat's eye. In return, he gave me a bone on a handmade vine necklace that had apparently been blessed by his chief. When I got home, I started hearing war drums. The next thing I knew, it was July 4th, and I woke up inside a Winnie the Pooh costume in the Magic Kingdom. I still have no idea what happened, but I'm fairly certain the necklace had something to do with it.
