First, let's start off with the good. The decorations were indeed beautiful and the team that was there on our wedding day were sincerely trying their hardest. Now for the not-so-good. My husband and I both work full time, so my mother very graciously offered to take care of all communications with Florida Wedding Professionals (FWP) in the months before the wedding. In this review, I'm only going to get into the things that I experienced first hand, however the stories she told me about their behavior leading up to the wedding was extremely disappointing, unfair, and almost unbelievable. Please look for my mother's review since she will cover these details. First of all, I have to address that, on the wedding day, FWP were very hectic and disorganized. When I got to the beach, the first thing I saw was my dad working to set up the chairs and decorations for the ceremony. He absolutely did not have to help but, without him, the ceremony would have been delayed 45 minutes or more. This was due to FWP lack of organization, employees to help set up, and prep-time. Even with my dad helping out, the ceremony was delayed 15 minutes. There is no scenario where the father of the bride should need to help set up for his daughter's wedding. Especially when the work he is doing is what we were paying FWP to handle. Next, for the ceremony. In our wedding package, we paid for up to ten songs to be played at our wedding. The music was extremely important to us, so we ended up downloading our own songs and sending them to FWP via Google Drive. We did everything for them, so all they needed to do was to download the songs since you must access Google Drive over an internet connection. We sent them the Google Drive link about a month before the wedding. Between that day and the wedding day, I emailed FWP precise instructions on which songs to play at which points throughout the ceremony a total of three times. I also talked to the wedding coordinator about it over the phone. FWP assured us multiple times that they had it under control. Ten minutes before the wedding, we found out that not only had they not even downloaded the music and were trying to play it through Google Drive but seven of our songs wouldn't even play. So they had to play our two processional songs over and over and over. And even with only two songs, they managed to get the order wrong. Two minutes before I walked down the aisle, I could hear that they were playing the bride's processional instead of the mother's and grandmother's processional. I had to run over and quickly tell an employee to switch the songs. Of course I don't know for sure, but she acted like it was the first time she was hearing this information. Please remember that I sent them the the detailed music information three times. On top of that, the coordinator's body language and inflections made it seem like an inconvenience to switch the songs. Again, this is all happening while my family is being seated, about two minutes before I'm supposed to walk down the aisle to get married. I had sincerely wanted to spend these last few minutes before my wedding ceremony to reflect on this incredibly special moment in my and my husband's lives, but unfortunately I was dealing with this till almost the precise moment I had to start walking down the aisle. After the ceremony, we got everyone together for a group picture but because of the lack of coordination, all the families and friends were separated so that no one was standing by the correct people in the group photo. As my husband and I were driving out of the parking lot headed to the reception, (we were the last people to leave the beach) the coordinator literally had to jump out of her car and run after us to give us the marriage license. She stuck it through the window and didn't offer us any instructions for what to actually do with it, other than where to send it. I had to ask her where we needed to sign, who needed to sign it, and exactly what our pastor needed to do with it. The next morning, my mother sent an email to FWP, voicing her displeasure. She brought up many of the things that went wrong and made it very clear that we were not planning on giving them a stellar review on social media. We received a response from Jason. He told us to post whatever we wanted to social media, but not to forget that we still hadn't received all the services from them that we paid for. You take whatever meaning you like from that statement but, to me, that sure does sound like a threat. To top it off, he ended the email telling us to "have a great year!" That made it abundantly clear to us that he was finished dealing with us and had no compassion whatsoever or willingness to try to make it right. If I could give this company negative stars I would. They now operate under "Florida Wedding group" still run by Jason E Wheeler. They never get back to you, change their terms of contract without notifying you, when they do get back you it's the most unprofessional service and language I've ever encountered. They have several allegations with legal action against them. We were married on Feb 7 in Siesta Key. The actual wedding was amazing. Except they lost our marriage license twice causing us to not legally be married. All they had to do was sign their part of the license and return it. Now we paid money for a wedding that didn't legally happen. Still never got our pictures either which I'm not holding my breath for! From someone who rarely writes reviews, I will try to express the depth of my disappointment and frustration as concisely as I can. There is a lot of advertisement about FWP personnel being easy to contact and their services being stress free. THIS. IS. NOT. THE. CASE. We contacted FWP about 2 weeks prior to the date we decided to get married. We knew it would be pushing it, but we were GUARANTEED that this would NOT be a problem. We decorations we picked out were NOT what was used. The ceremony we put together was NOT what was used. The photos we received were poor quality. Due to moisture on the camera lens, our pictures have dark spots everywhere. The photoshopping was amateur at best, and truly made the photos worse. The most frustrating issue was the EXTREME difficulty contacting anyone. Of the 30+ times I called the FWP numbers, staff answered the phone TWICE. And yes, the large majority of these call were during normal business hours. Eventually, I resorted to calls, voicemails, emails, contact request via the website, and even facebook messenger. I voiced my concerned to an individual within FWP. She seemed sympathetic and said all the right things. She even wanted to "make things right." Ultimately, her promises were empty as well. It appears they have changed their name to Florida Wedding Group. We chose this company to host our wedding because we liked the beach location that had no resorts on the beach but two days before the wedding it was changed to a very crowded resort location. We tried to reach out to them with some concerns for two days before the wedding but did not get a response until a few hours before the wedding started. We got there and the decorations and color were not the ones we agreed to. Our wedding start time was 6:00PM and it didn't start until 6:30PM because the officiant they hired was late. As for the post wedding work we never got our pictures that their photographer took because we were not given enough time to download them. The day after the wedding we put a review up of our negative experience and immediately received an email that the post wedding work was on hold until we removed the review. We paid for these services and it's on the signed agreement but they felt obligated to put it on hold until we removed the review. We removed the review that same day believing we could work things out but it only got worse. After removing the review we were told we would get a call back at some time that week with a resolution. Several days went by and at the end of the week we never got a call. We emailed that Friday evening and got a response that we would get a call back the following Tuesday after a company meeting. The call never came. At this point we felt like we weren't being taken seriously and was getting quite irritated. We sent an email requesting someone to call us and finally were able to get confirmation that the post wedding work was being processed. We were also told by this person on the phone that the officiant being 30 minutes late was not their fault even though they chose and hired the officiant for the package we paid for. On the phone they said we would get a small refund for the officiant being late but we never got it. On Sept 18th we were emailed a link to download our pictures from Dropbox but after a few hours of receiving the link it was disabled. They sent us the link at 10:34AM and it was disabled around 5:00PM that same day. We were not given enough time to download the pictures. We let them know immediately that one of us works 3rd shift and was sleeping during this time but that didn't matter to them. There was no mention in the email that there was an expiration date. From September 20th to October 14th we were told 6 times in emails and phone calls that they would work on giving us our pictures and it never happened. When this all started, we tried calling them three times in one day and when the owner answered they were very rude that we called too much. They were also very offensive by the negative review that we had already removed. Their customer service is awful. We reported this to the BBB and the company responded that we misplaced our pictures which is absolutely false and that we would now have to pay a convenience fee for them to re-deliver our photos. During the month prior to this they never mentioned we would have to pay a fee. We never got our pictures. Through all the issues we dealt with working with them to remove the review like we did, this company continued to be an absolute nightmare to work with and was never apologetic. Let me start by stressing *this is not spam*. It appears that Jason, the owner of Florida Wedding Professionals (FWP), responds to all negative feedback over which he has no control (in contrast to say, his own website/Facebook page) by saying that it is spam or by denying he ever did business with the person. I am a real person and FWP facilitated my wedding in Fort Walton Beach on September 1, 2018. This post is a warning to all other brides of what could go wrong should you choose FWP. When errors are made, Jason will deny them and dismiss the customer. When I found this company back in early April, Jason was so friendly and hospitable. In June we met with Jason at the wedding site. He told me that they were going to film my wedding, that he was going to be there to round up my guests and guide them to the seating area. Per conversation with Jason, my guests were to be there at 5:45. Music would play when the first guest arrived. I was to be walking no later than 6:15. He said it was imperative that we walk by a specific time as sun would be setting, reducing the quality of the intended sunset photography. My husband showed up on time and went to the wrong wedding. Another company had set up in advance of the wedding they were performing and my husband assumed it was for us. Guests then showed up on time to a wedding setting that was not ready. My guests helped FWP set up the chairs and sashes. One of the guys from FWP kinda bucked up to my husband with a comment along the lines of "you gotta problem?". That was classy. When I got to John Beasley Park, some of my guests were wondering around lost on the pavilion. 45 minutes later the minister came down to where I was in the parking lot as a result of my mom asking them what was going on. l had no clue what was going on, worried about it all running behind because of me not knowing what to do. The wedding ended up not starting until 6:45. (See attached screenshot with timestamp of them still setting up the site at 6:30). My guests were there standing around an hour and there was no music playing as promised. There were some jerks who plopped their towels and stuff on the beach in line with the alter and FWP had to bribe them to move. While we can't control jerks, it seems that if FWP had been there on time, they could have done a better job at preventing this. More than anything, I was upset that I was upset in the first place...on my wedding day. The ceremony started so late that the post-ceremony pictures look like they were taken at 10PM. The FWP crew ran into traffic, or something. When this type of error happens, the company should have immediately reached out to me and we could have pushed it back to allow time for the site to be set up properly versus in a manner that resembled a pop-up-side-of-the-road-circus. The ambiance of the whole thing mattered to me and it all fell to pieces. Days after the wedding, I called Jason to speak with him directly to give him my feedback about them being late. AND HERE IS THE WHOLE REASON FOR THIS REVIEW: When I gave him my feedback, Jason immediately said, "I didn't want to do your wedding in the first place - I thought about cancelling on you a few times - because I could tell you were the type to want to control things". (I have this recorded on my phone, by the way). Not an immediate apology or anything of the sort you would expect from a professional company. Jason took it personal and got defensive, trying to somehow contort what ultimately is a flaw of his business processes and risk mitigation and blame it on me. So there you have it... If it all goes smoothly, more power to you. If there are any hiccups, just don't expect great communication. My best friends wedding day was ruined by Florida Wedding Professionals. Upon arrival at the ceremony site there was nothing ready for the bride. There was no chairs, no decorations, no photographer nothing even worst there was no management to aid us in the chaos. After many attempts I was finally able to reach Jeniffer who at that point said there was nothing she could do for us and offered someone else's wedding site for the bride to get married and promised a full refund because she knew it was their mistake. The bride decided to take her offer and got married even though there was no sunset anymore or any day light . All the chaos and the waiting made the bride over 2hrs late and she ended up having additional costs with other vendor that were catering the wedding reception. After days of calling and emailing them they finally decided to answered me with an email saying that there was no breach of contract and there was not going to be a refund. Even if there was a refund it wouldn't have made up for what the bride went thru. Her wedding day was ruined and the wedding memories are tainted with chaos and tears. I was part of a wedding on the 15th and it was suppose to start at 6. When we got there nothing was ready and no one was there to help. We called and called until someone finally answered and said that they had made a mistake with the set up and if she wanted to get married in someone else's set up she could and they'd refund the money. At 8 the other couple finished up so she went ahead and used their set up to get married because everyone was already there waiting. Absolutely horrible, frustrating and unacceptable. We all walked around clueless for 2 hours because nothing was ready! She wanted to get married at sunset but instead she had to get married when it was completely dark and with no photographer that was included. They completely ruined her dream of a beach wedding. We chose Florida Wedding Professionals (FWP) for our daughters wedding because of the good reviews as well as their friendly nature when we spoke with them. I have to say that while we started out with high hopes for this special day, our final experience was very disappointing. My wife, daughter, son-in-law, and mother are submitting reviews with a lot more details of the events but I will stick only to what I personally experienced. While my wife and the grooms mother were setting up the restaurant decorations, I headed to the beach to meet Jennifer (our FWP wedding coordinator) and deliver some special decorations we had prepared. I could tell right away that things were not going well as they were still working on setting up chairs and the arch. Jennifer and her team of 2 helpers were running behind so I offered to help with the setup, something I had not expected to do as it was getting very close to when guests were to start arriving and I wanted to be able to welcome them as well as get dressed for the wedding. It was pure chaos and they were not even able to get chairs set up straight which I ended up doing myself. One of the things FWP kept telling us was to not worry that they would take care of everything but they did not follow through with that promise. When my mother-in-law-to-be first discovered Florida Wedding Professionals (FWP) and was telling my then-fiancée and I about them, we were all very excited. A wedding coordinator who would handle all of the details and arrangements sounded too good to be true. As is so often the case, it actually was. My mother-in-law, father-in-law, and wife will all be writing reviews of their own covering their sides of the story of our relationship with FWP, so I will be limiting my comments only to the aspects I directly witnessed, all of which occurred on the day of the wedding itself. I got to the beach roughly 15-20 minutes before the ceremony was to begin, only to find the FWP crew still very much in the swing of getting things set up, a task which I would have thought we have been completed long before that point. I also noticed there were no speakers or sound equipment of any sort visible, which I found odd because we had been promised audio equipment for our pre-ceremony music, processional songs, and recessional, as well as for our officiant's mic, which we were promised would also pick up our vows. I thought little of it and proceeded to welcome our guests and begin to mentally prepare myself for the ceremony. While doing this, I was approached by a very disheveled and shabbily dressed woman who turned out to be the wedding coordinator. She said she was having trouble getting our recessional song to play and showed me her phone. We had chosen very specific and non-traditional songs, which we had edited in a very particular way and sent to them in the format they requested, which was via Google Drive. As it turned out, she had neither downloaded the songs nor even tested them prior to that moment and was attempting to stream them. Mere minutes before the ceremony was to begin, she asked if I could send her the songs again. It was at this point I realized that none of our pre-ceremony music had been playing, despite being promised up to ten songs. I told her that I did not have my phone on me, my suit not having any pockets, and that she would just have to play the processional a second time for the recessional, just trying to make the best of a bad situation. The ceremony started a few minutes later (which turned out to be about 15 minutes late; read my father-in-law's review for why it was late), and the first thing I hear--faintly--is the wrong processional being played. We had chosen two different processional songs, clearly named Processional 1 and Processional 2, one to be played while the parents and grandparents were seated, and one to be played while the bride walked down the aisle. Despite having only two songs left to choose from after ignoring the other seven we had chosen, the coordinator still managed to get the order wrong. For our ceremony I had chosen to face the ocean and only turn around to see my bride when she arrived at the end of the aisle, and the beginning of her Processional 2 music was supposed to be my cue. As I said above, I only heard this incorrect music faintly because it was being played through a very small, quiet Bluetooth speaker placed at the opposite end of the aisle. When the bride reached the end of the aisle, the music was paused very abruptly and not even faded out tastefully. Our music was very important to us, and we took great pains to explain to FWP numerous times the order, which was very simple. My wife sent them three emails confirming the file names and order, and together we called the coordinator to explain what we wanted. We were assured at every turn they understood perfectly and everything would go off without a hitch. Despite being told this, when the day came, to all appearances the coordinator had never looked at or listened to the music prior to that moment. Despite being promised up to ten songs, only two were played, and those in the wrong order. This is only a small part of our story with FWP, as I said, so please read our other reviews to get a complete picture. I would urge everyone reading this to strongly consider whether this company is right for you, and to question everything they may say, either here or to your face. read more

Think twice about hiring this company! My full story is reviewed on Better Business Bureau. I hired this company to perform my wedding in Ft Lauderdale. The individual hired to setup and photograph my wedding did not setup as contracted to. I had no music and basically had to instruct him on what pictures I wanted. When I expressed my disappointment to Florida wedding professionals this is when there attitude changed. Multiple unanswered emails when all I wanted was answers. They finally told me they had to hire a lawyer to retrieve my photos. On September 26th they finally offered a 50% refund which I gladly took as it was better than nothing even though I thought 2000 was a bit much to pay for an officiant. I was told I'd get this paperwork for the refund the following week. It's now November and no refund. My last communication with them was that the photographer would not release my pictures and that he didn't have them anymore. A very important day and I have no professional pictures and no remorse from this Company to fix it. It's been a very stressful situation and money down the drain.
