Everyone was super friendly and welcoming, and the whole office had a really comfortable vibe. Dr. Chung took the time to explain everything to me and never made me feel rushed or judged. The staff was also really attentive and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire appointment. You can genuinely tell they care about their patients and take pride in what they do. Terrible experience and a complete waste of time. I was getting a facial next door and walked over to schedule an appt. Texted them my dental card, which by the way literally says Dental, and the receptionist tells me that's my health insurance card. That should have been my first warning. Scheduled my appointment for one week out. One hour before my appointment received a link to complete, I was at work and was going to complete it when I got there as I was going to be early. When I get in 10 mins early I check in and the receptionist (same who made my appt) tells me she hasn't been able to verify my insurance... why am I hearing of this 10 mins before my appointment, why not call me and let me know? You've had my information for a week! Unapologetic and just completely incompetent. I told her to cancel my appointment as that was something that should have been done before I got there. Her excuse? I sent you a link to complete... one hour ago? And the link was just a registration form according to the text. No accountability. I will never go there again, horrible service and I wasted a whole hour, leaving work early to be told they hadn't done the bare minimum. I do not do well going to the dentist at all, but I have to say that Dr. Chung and his AMAZING staff changed all of that for me! I never thought I would say that getting an implant and crown was enjoyable, but I didn't mind it whatsoever and am looking forward to finishing the process! Care & Customer Service: Friendly and calm staff from front reception, to dental assistants, to dentist! Having to go to the dentist always makes me a little anxious and nervous ever since my mom took me to my first appointment. Thankfully the environment and staff really do their best to make you feel calm and relaxed throughout every step of the process from being welcomed, to taking x-rays, to the dental services provided. Service Experience: The dental assistants and dentists do a great job of explaining all the procedures in a simple and easy to understand manner. Dr. Chung used visuals including a Google image search while telling me the difference between plaque vs. tartar. He also carefully went over my X-ray and took another thorough X-ray to examine further into a potential problem area. I haven't had a teeth cleaning in over 15 years so a deep cleaning was in order but the process was fast and efficient. Dr. Chung and his assistant did an excellent job working together and keeping me relaxed asking how I was doing and reassuring me that I could take a break at any time. Of course everyone naturally asks "Did it hurt?" and the answer is there was some moments where my gums were sensitive and had very minor and bearable discomfort and pain, but that's to be expected. All in all, Dr. Chung was very gentle and I have no complaints with the deep cleaning process, especially since it's been so long so I had one done. Final Thoughts: I can really tell that Floss Dental Pearland really does their best to make the atmosphere and environment smooth, calm, clean, and pleasant from start to finish. Working in customer service and healthcare myself I really value quality staff, quality service, and a quality environment because that way everyone wins. I personally want to thank Dr. Chung, the dental assistants, and the front reception ladies for being so pleasant during my first teeth cleaning in many years. I chose this practice because it was the self-proclaimed the best" and had great reviews. I have had two procedures; a deep cleaning and an extraction. I have a heart condition requiring pre medication. I also have cataract surgery scheduled fir 5 weeks in advance un 9 days. In both procedures I gad an infection afterward and requested additional antibiotics, in both instances my request was ignored by the GOD Dentist. This time I had to the ER because my lymph nodes are swollen and inside my mouth is horrid. At this practice the patient .DOES NOT MATTER. And he wanted ne to do implants. I would have DIED IN PAIN AND INFECTION. DO NOT GO THERE. read more

I chose this practice because it close to my house. The environment is nice and clean, very updated technologies. The only problem I have is I don't feel comfortable having an assistant use dental instruments on me. She was using a probe to remove something between my teeth, and the tip of the probe broke and it got stuck in between my front teeth. She caused my front tooth chipped, I complain to the dentist but he didn't care. I have to pay full price to get it repaired. Felt rushed and waited 2.5 hours for a cleaning. The dentist did a little cleaning but the assistant polished my teeth. I thought that was odd, didn't know dental assistants are qualified to use hand piece instruments on patients. Overall, I don't feel like they care about you. I see the dentist for a few minutes but the assistant mainly did all the work. My two stars are for the technologies that they have. read more
