The doctors and nurses went above and beyond to try and save my grandson. He was moved to the 10th floor icu and they gave him the best care possible. They showed so much compassion and love not only for my grandson but for my daughter and son-in-law as well. Unfortunately my grandson didn't make it but it wasn't because of lack of effort on their part. I want to commend the doctors and nurses in the emergency room and especially the entire staff on the 10th floor. As grandparents we appreciate everything from the bottom of our hearts.

I was there since 8 o'clock in the afternoon and I didn't leave till about two. The reason I'm giving this one star is because I didn't feel like I was getting listened to yesterday. The doctors were very rude. I believe the Doctor Who checked me yesterday again was Miss Parker and she was very dismissive and I understand that y'all were shortstaffed, but at the end of the day I feel like it's the doctor's job to make the patient feel safe and secured and besides being dismissive, I don't know what this position is called, but the lady Evelyn, who was taking the patients to their rooms back-and-forth and giving discharge papers was extremely rude and I hope if I ever come back that I don't have to talk to her since the hospital was shortstaffed last night and I couldn't talk to Miss Parker again about more questions. I thought that I was comfortable talking to Miss Evelyn, but she kept repeating herself and getting louder, dismissing my questions as well and when giving me my discharge papers, she told me that y'all would never say no to a visit with me because I don't have insurance but to stop coming back to the hospital because the things that I'm trying to get looked at as far as my personal problems are not for the hospital ! And don't get me wrong. I was very patient the whole entire time very understanding that y'all were shortstaffed, but at the end of the day like I said, I don't understand why she was getting repeated on purpose, nodding her head and having very rude body language, I wish I got the students name who had asked me questions before anybody came in my room, but he had glasses and he was a student doctor. If I'm not mistaken, he was the only one who made me feel like I was being listened to yesterday as a patient. He actually answered more of my questions and the five minutes that he was in the room with us, me and my boyfriend. He was very understanding. He did super good and honestly asked the most questions that I've ever been asked, unfortunately I won't be coming back due to this situation but again I just felt like the whole situation wasn't called for. Who says don't come back when the only reason I came back was because the doctors who saw me in my room last time told me to come back if my symptoms came again?

I have made such progress and am so impressed with their personal approach to me while doing my therapy. They are so sweet and caring and also very professional with what they do. They are up on everything to make sure I get the best of care and keep in touch with my drs. They always do a "check in" with me each time I go before we start to see how I'm doing as far as my pain level or any other issues. They also cheer you on and get as excited as I do when I'm able to take a step or steps forward and when there's been a few rough bumps and have had to take some steps back or an easier day and not as much they still reassure me it's ok and it's normal not to beat myself up. The staff I just can't say enough about how awesome they all are: Cyndi, Misha, Lynn, and Jenna. I'm still in therapy, but I still want to give them a huge shout out and there isn't a good enough way to put in to words how much they mean to me and how much it's means with all they do. Y'all are so awesome

While I have met Dr. O, I am normally…read moreseen by Mr. William Martinez, one of her P.A.'s I have no issue with being seen by a PA and I find Mr. Martinez to be a caring, intelligent, intuitive provider of health care. I am not a fan of big pharma and Dr. O's practice is largely based on more holistic approaches to medicine than just "prescription writing". Recently I received a letter from Dr. O regarding the decision to require a subscription payment from each client. While at first I was upset about this added cost, I was quick to realize that healthcare reform has not been kind to doctors, especially those who care deeply about their patients and want to have the time to listen carefully to them. I have been a patient at practices where insurance companies dictate the amount of time the physician can spend with me, the types of brands of drugs they can prescribe, and the treatments I can and cannot have. Because I have enjoyed such a high quality of care at Dr. O medical, I decided to stay a patient. I can always get a same day appointment (within reason), Mr. Martinez has almost always been on time, and my appointments are never rushed. I am very happy with the services I have received, very happy with the treatments and supplements, even those that my insurance would not cover. I know people who pay substantial subscription costs to be a member of certain medical offices, and some of these doctors do not even take insurance any more - they just give you a bill that you can turn it for reimbursement. I am thankful for Dr. O's and her staff, especially Mr. Martinez who gives me excellent care. On a final note, I have been a citizen of a country that enjoys socialized medicine, which is not in fact free, it is very expensive when you take in to consideration the taxation rate. The socialized medicine I was familiar with was not quick, adaptable, easy to access, or timely. I much prefer the system we enjoy here and I am willing to pay for extras that I can afford. It's nice to have the choice. I have had many interactions with the office staff and assistants and have never had a single issue. I have always been treated by name and with utmost respect. If you want to be a real person to your provider, and not just a case number, you want to consider Dr. O Medical.
