Hala was pushy and not helpful. She first told me after the deposit, one week before the wedding, that I could pay half the balance before and half after. The week of, she told me I had to pay in full or else she would not bring my flowers. I knew there was something fishy at this point. First she refused delivery to church (lazy and unfair for flowers I already paid for not to be able to be transported to the church so I could use them) THEN refused delivery of bridal/ bridesmaid bouquets or boutonnières to the house, which is annoying to a stressed out bride. A friend of my fiancé ended up picking up the bouquets and boutonnières. As soon as he walked in, I see that the bridesmaid bouquets are not pink roses and white hydrangeas like I asked for, but just ivory roses to match my bridal bouquet. When I complained about it, Hala said I wanted ivory and she had written so on my invoice. When I looked at the photo she sent me, I saw that "ivory" was scribbled over the word "pink". I also saw that my mother Mary bouquet for church wasn't included. That's two things she didn't do for church, that were very important to me. My bouquet looked old. I was embarrassed to take photos with it. I canceled my bouquet preservation because I was not happy with it. Three people who took flowers home told me the flowers were already wilting the next day. I didn't get photos of it, I was too upset My head table and hall entrance was not as full of greenery as I asked for and had fake orchids in between. When I complained about it, Hala said I AGREED to have FAKE FLOWERS on my head table! What bride would agree to have fake flowers? It looks like she wrote it in tiny letters on the invoice after she sent it to me. On my family head tables, Hala said we would do a long table length arrangement. She did the same size as the rest of the hall and filled it with candles. When I complained about it, Hala said that is what I asked for All in all, when I look at photos, the hall looks nice, but it wasn't the big beautiful photos I showed her and when I was told that it was something else I asked for, I was very offended. I got a great price but I soon realized that I got what I paid for. I felt even worse after speaking with her, since she didn't take credit for anything and basically blamed it on me. Do NOT order flowers from this place. First, they sent my beautiful choice for my moms funeral, and when it came it was a small, crappy plant that needed to be in the BACK OF THE ROOM! As bad as this was, when I called them about it ( FIFTEEN TIMES! ) they either ignored my calls, hung up on me, or said they would give me a refund, which NEVER came through~ I explained over and over that it DID NOT come through, but after 6 WEEKS, it was still not resolved. I received a beautiful floral arrangement from friends after my surgery. Unfortunately, after just a day, the flowers were dying. My wife called to see what they would do to take care of this and she was treated terribly. The man who took the call wasn't quick enough to put her on hold when he shouted to someone else in the room "take care of this f***ing lady. " The person who took the call accused us of not watering the bouquet (it was in a vase filled with water). He then said we broke the daisies that were part of the arrangement (they arrived that way), accused us of putting them in the wrong light, etc, etc, etc. He finally offered us a $20 credit on our next order even though this arrangement was likely well over$100. Had flowers delivered for my birthday and they are NOTHING like the picture, posted on www.fromyouflowers.com (%flowers by renee). They're were suppose to be 8 roses (why 8? and there are only 7), 7 red carnations and 4 mini carnations. The carnations are there (the larger ones) BUT THE smaller ones are dying and I've only had them less than 24 hours. The plant is very scattered and empty because the plant is not well put together. There's an entire amount of greenery and, and, and the flowers smell like smoke and on the way one of them (the carnations) had fallen outside and the driver left it for me to pick up. He'd mentioned that he wasn't responsible for the flowers that flower and break. Needless to say my fiancé is extremely disappointed. If I could give this 0 stars I would! PEOPLE (BRIDES) take the time to read the 1 star reviews and the experience they'd had! I had all the same story happened to me in which Renee did not have the same vision as me, nor really listened to what and how I wanted my flowers! On the day of my rehearsal after seeing my flowers, I could not believe that my bouquet was everything I did NOT want. The candle cylinders were chipped and dirty to the point where my bridesmaids and I had to clean the dirt and mildew off them and fill them up again with clean water. In addition, after constant back and forth over the phone to fix the issues, I was very disappointed with the final bouquet. I asked for a cascading bouquet, and the greenery she chose, looked like seaweed. My family had to help rearrange the entire thing. I cannot believe I did not go with my guts and decided to give her the benefit of the doubt. I will never ever recommend this company or their work!! Renee is very rude and pushy. Thee WORST flower shop ever. I should have heeded the warnings and complaints from pervious customers on yelp. I only went to them because another family member used their services for a relative's burial. Never again, they are extremely unprofessional. I did not get what I asked for, then when I called respectfully to express that I was not pleased with the arrangement he asked me what I wanted him to do and goes on to say that he did me a favor by adding additional things. He totally disregarded the issue I had with the arrangement and did not care that I was dissatisfied. I specified that I wanted it to be all roses and the flower literally had a BUNCH of carnation on one side and about 12 roses or less on the other side. They didn't even attempt to be creative with this one they didn't even mix the flowers up. It was as if the had someone new to floral arrangements putting it together. I am not one to leave a bad review, as I typically don't have bad-enough experiences, but I am shocked at the level of carelessness and lack of professionalism this "business" has shown me. I ordered flowers for my best-friends birthday last Thursday in preparation for her birthday on Sunday (since I unfortunately couldn't be with her) and to my ABSOLUTE DISAPPOINTMENT, they were NEVER delivered. It has now been 2 days after they were supposed to be received and they STILL HAVE NOT BEEN DELIVERED. I have also tried calling the shop with no answer and sent an email with no reply and if by chance your establishment is closed on Sunday, Sunday should NOT be listed as a delivery option or other arrangements should be made, ESPECIALLY for a special occasion. This has truly been the MOST embarrassing, unprofessional and truly the WORST experience I have ever had. I would STRONGLY SUGGEST looking elsewhere for your special-occasion needs, because this has seriously been the most shameful and disheartening experience. My next step is unfortunately finding the time to make it into the shop and looking into this in person, since they're ok with taking $120+ and not doing what I was hoping they would as a customer. We ordered our flowers only about a month and a half before our wedding (I was convinced I could do my own, I'm so glad I changed my mind,) and Flowers by Renee did an amazing job of working with us in a short amount of time. Besides my wedding colors, I was not very picky about what types of flowers I had or the shape of my bouquet, and any expectations that I had for my flowers were immediately exceeded when I saw a big, beautiful bouquet of different roses, hydrangeas, and greens in the exact colors that I had requested. I couldn't even do a bouquet toss with it because I loved it so much! My husband's boutiennere matched perfectly, and the rest of our wedding party had beautiful boutiennere's and bouquets, as well! BEST ADVICE = STAY AWAY!! If I could give "Zero Stars" -I would. Rene, the owner, is very RUDE and highly impatient. She pushes you out the door the second you walk in, and makes you feel like you're doing HER a favor-spending $6,000 on flowers for your wedding. We figured her product would make up for her lack of communication skills, due to reading other Yelp reviews-but we were very WRONG. She FORGOT the purple flowers in the center pieces, and bride/bridesmaid bouquets; even after confirming with her in several different occasions-including 2 days before the wedding. Our Cali Lillie's were filled with cheap GREENERY instead of what was agreed upon, which didn't match the decor or bridesmaid dresses; and we were still charged the same price!! Hala is absolutely horrible. I first started working with her for my wedding in early December. I met with her twice and each time she would brush me off and tell me she could handle it and to trust her. I was uneasy with her nonchalance regarding my wedding, so I asked my sister to meet with her. She assured her as well that she knew what she doing. On the day of the event, her stage was messy, with no floor covering and there no up lights in the entire venue. We had discussed amber uplighting throughout the hall and stage. When she was called to remedy the situation, she told me someone called her and cancelled them!!! She never spoke to me or my sister regarding a major change in the decor and still charged us for the lighting. The worst, unprofessional woman I've ever met. Horrible service. Looks beautiful on the inside, cheap compared to chains like Thrifty's, but the price you pay? An independent business that's run too cozily to give the customer service you need....especially for an important day. I ordered my wedding corsages from here in January 2012 and it really was a terrible experience. I was going through a catalogue that wasn't their designs, which I realized because they said they couldn't do anything I chose from the book. Their response was still, "Anything you want" when I asked for help, but they didn't have any of the flowers or ribbon I was selecting from the book they gave me. After being very hard to work with in designing what I originally wanted, I settled for red roses and their personal expertise (since they didn't have accurate samples of anything I was ordering). Worst idea ever. I arrive the afternoon before my wedding to find my ENTIRE ORDER BOTCHED. Not the right amount of corsages, not the baby roses I ordered, nothing. She owner had the nerve to tell me it 1. was right based on the scribble of the order the other lady helping me had taken (as if I didn't know how many people were in my wedding!) and 2. I could come back the day of my wedding before my reception to pick up the order. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? After getting frustrated, she told me to come back in one hour and this is where the settling part comes in. I just took them as they were and restructured them in the hotel the night before my wedding. It's a gambling game here because you get what they give you, not necessarily what you order. So, I would recommend this place to either very passive people who don't mind following others' visions or instructions, or to people with a strong backbone to fight back and get what you need at a pretty awesome price. read more

No one said it would be easy. but it doesn't help that when you are trying to explain the type of flower arrangement you want and the person "helping" you is telling you it's not going to work, it wont look nice, trust me I know. After going to 4 different flower shops I went with Flowers by Renee. I was mostly happy with the end product, but I think I was soo frustrated I just settled. I was happy with the price I guess. and the arrangements were nice but not great. The pushy owners did not help with making it a good experience, but they did compromise. I did get a scare 3 days before my wedding; I asked for sage chair covers and got a call saying that they do not have enough sage chair covers and that she could replace them with ivory chair covers, I was flipping out because I wanted the sage chair covers, so finally after arguing they miraculously found more covers at the same price I ordered initially. *sigh* read more

From my flowers to my chair covers, I noticed it all as I was walking in to say I do. I did want something more affordable but I did explain to the owner that I would pay extra for the things I had wanted. I will never go anywhere else when I am a bride. They gave my brother and his wife the wedding of their dreams! Ordered all my wedding flowers here last May. I went in to view a trial floral arrangement and the color pallet was completely wrong. When I explained the flowers were the wrong color the associate was very rude and argued that I am receiving exactly what I ordered. When she finally pulled my contract and verified the colors were wrong, there was no apology - she just went in the back and threw together another arrangement with colors more suited to my request. Although my bouquet was beautiful, all the centerpieces were skimpy and looked very sloppy like they were rushed together. They also did not show up at the end of the night for cleanup as they said they would. The venue manager was not happy with us and would not let us leave without attempting to get a hold of the company. Finally, a morning cleanup was arranged. read more
