What drew me in was the rose pedals on the floor outside. It reminded me of Coming to America when the King of Zamunda would have the flower girls pour rose pedals on the floor whenever he walked. Aside from that, it's a nice spot with some pretty amazing plants, art, and class offerings. The staff was very knowledgeable and super friendly. We talked with them for about 30 minutes about plants and what not. This place is nestled in old town Scottsdale where a lot of shops are. So upset this place is so far from my house! I fell in love the second I saw their signage outside. Right away we were welcomed by a nice girl and every where I looked was another beautiful succulent, decor, flowers. I was pleasantly surprised at how great everything was priced. My daughter got the most beautiful planter and for $5 more they put the succulent in it for her and it is beautiful! I also loved all the air plant options. If you are looking for a great plant shop that's actually affordable this is where you should go! I usually go downtown to a shop there, but as of today this is where I'll be coming! read more

I met with Megan at the Wedding Expo in January 2013 (a year before my wedding). In our short conversation at the expo I could tell that this is her true passion. She understood my concepts and ideas for my wedding from just a short conversation. A couple months after that my (now) husband and I met at her studio. Her studio is gorgeous and gave us such a good feeling about working with Megan. She listened (actually listened) to our ideas, looked at our Pinterest board, and showed us recommendations of flowers based on what we said, our budget and being that our wedding is in winter. She really worked with us to stay in our budget without having to take away from our overall ideas. She was able to find these trees that we saw at ZGallerie and allowed us to rent them, which saved us a ton of money. Her and her team also took on a very time consuming and challenging craft project for us, that saved us money and gave us the look that we were going for - they cut many wine bottles to use for the vases which were re-purposed from the ceremony to the reception. The one thing that my husband said when we were deciding between two different florists is that this is Megan's passion and you can tell by talking to her, so we knew we'd get a beautiful display of flowers at our wedding. The other company we spoke to didn't actually listen to what we wanted and just gave their suggestions for what we should do, at the end of the day they were running a business and we were just another job. With Megan, we felt like we were another masterpiece that she was creating and she just happened to get paid doing what she loves. Overall the communication with Megan was great during the process. She even met with us at our venue to talk with our wedding coordinator and discuss the layout of the flowers. The day of ran so smoothly that I never had to worry about how the floral arrangements looked, everything was very organized. read more

I received a bouquet from the flower bar as a gift for my birthday. Stunningly beautiful as my photos will show. I know my friend probably paid a fortune for this so as the bouquet started to fail just 3 days in I was concerned. I reached out to Megan and she was quick to respond. I sent her photos of the browning roses. After a couple of email exchanges she did send me some replacement roses. Good for her. So now my "hat bouquet" is 5/6 days old(received it last Friday). It is on the downward slide for sure. All in all it was and is beautiful. My only suggestion would to have instructions on how much water to add. Why I say this is it in the hat box with the flowers so jammed in you cannot feel where the liner stops. With that said, I have water leaking out of the hat box from the bottom. I need to point out that this bouquet smelled amazing, all of the flowers are still looking pretty good, it was the roses that we're overly delicate. I am fortunate to have received this gift of a truly unique bouquet of flowers. read more

Megan's beautiful creations couldn't have been more perfect for our April 7th wedding! Initially when I visited her shop I explained that I wanted fresh lavender-herbal, fragrant arrangements. I envisioned rosemary, thyme, lavender and other earthy botanicals. She understood exactly and created several live centerpieces in wooden boxes using lavender and herbs. They were absolutely beautiful. My flowers were fresh cut English lavender. The kids in the wedding party had fragrant little head wreaths that were lovely. All of the flowers were delivered to our event space-Royal Palms on time and pick up of the vases that we rented also took place on time. Megan was so easy to work with and was able to elevate my request with her own creative eye! I can't wait to have another event using flowers... it will be with Megan at the Flower Bar..all the way! I can't say enough about Megan at Flower Bar! I live in California and I needed to order some flowers for my mom's very small wedding brunch at a local resort. I emailed Megan only a few weeks before the event praying that she would have time to put something together for my mom's reception! I gave Megan a little description of my mom's style (earthy, simple, colorful) and voila! She put together the most beautiful boxes of flowers! This place knows what the meaning of "Quality" is. I placed an order here earlier this week for Valentines Day and the two ladies working there gave me some great recommendations and showed me some ready to buy flowers/plants as well as some custom ones you can buy. I put in an order and the flowers were ready the next day at the pickup time I requested. I don't know a ton about flowers but from browsing this place definitely is not the cheapest in town. Needed impromptu flowers for a sad occasion. Found this place on Google Maps, walked in.....and might be the cutest flower shop ever. Adorable place, great design, I could tell that this was a special spot. Even the studio cat was a fluffy ball of adorableness. I discussed my need for a quick bouquet to take to my grandfather, as his wife had just passed. The owner Megan sadly informed me due to the climate she had nothing in stock, and normally she needed 24 hours notice to put something together. I was sad, she was sad. Not being from the area, I was at a loss of where to go. She wouldn't let me leave, and she went into her refrigerator and threw together the most incredible bouquet out of the 'nothing' that she had. Thistles, pussy willows, a few lilies, and voila: gorgeous. If this is how they handle having 'nothing': I can't wait to see what they do when they're stocked! Would recommend this place to anybody. I recently moved to downtown Scottsdale. I found this lovely flower shop from a Yelp search. I asked the very friendly woman on the phone about preparing a small wrapped bouquet for a friend of mine. I requested a couple roses, some greenery, etc wrapped. When I arrived at the cute shop, I was blown away at the gorgeous bouquet Claire had prepared for me. It exceeded ALL my expectations. The bouquet was full of unique, gorgeous, colorful flowers wrapped in trendy paper with a cute bow. I expected to pay more for such a beautiful bouquet. Great prices, beautiful flowers, friendly staff, awesome presentation. And there is a small parking lot on the side. No need to look for street parking. Everything I am looking for in a flower shop. We received a stunning arrangement for Christmas. Huge, glorious flowers in a tall, squared ceramic silver vase. Sadly, the next day, some of the flowers wilted and turned brown. It had not even been 24 hours. The Flower Bar did indeed act quickly and replaced the original with an Asian styled arrangement in a plastic base that died within a few days despite the fresh water. The flowers were not in a drafty area. I wouldn't recommend requesting replacements however we took the initial design and purchased flowers from Michaels. So, thank you Flower Bar for the design concept. You were courteous, creative, and efficient. However the product didn't live up to your reputation. read more

I have been doing the workshops for years and every time I leave with more knowledge about creating beautiful arrangements or wreaths.
