I have very limited experience with buying flowers, but for an event coming up I needed 400 stems of carnations, and I knew I wanted to source local, so I called up Arizona Flower Market and they were able to get an order for me placed and ready by 8am the next morning! I paid about $415 for all of them. I came in for pickup and all the flowers were wrapped in bundles of 25, and packaged in 2 large boxes for me to easily bring home. They rung me up on the phone, the day before so it was a really quick process, and the person there even carried the heavy boxes to my car for me. Flew into Sky Harbour, decided to get some flowers to take to my friend. Found this on Yelp and was not disappointed at all. The shop is a huge warehouse that is wholesale and retail. They also have an event planning office also. I walked in and was a little taken aback by the size of the place. A lovely young lady who was working on some arrangements greeted me and asked if she could help. I said yes and she spent 20 minutes showing me around, helping me pick out some beautiful sunflowers, and making an arrangement for me. I think her name was Lexi, Alexis, sorry if I got it wrong. I bought three bouquets of marigolds and was very pleased. Everything went smoothly, and although I originally ordered orange bouquets, I really liked the yellow ones. The saleswoman was incredibly kind and exchanged them for yellow ones without any hassle. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the saleswoman even made sure the flowers were beautifully packaged and included flower food. Disappointed. And honestly conflicted. My husband and I went in on a Saturday morning around 10 am and had a great experience there. The staff was friendly. We were able to get the few flowers we needed for a maternity photo shoot this morning. Asked them how to best keep and store the blooms so they can look just as good by 11 am the next morning. Informed us to put it in the fridge and use their flower food. Which I did. But out of the 4 hydrangeas I had purchased three of them are wilted and drooping. It's only 8 am the next morning.. disappointing and dissatisfying. Spent $52 on flowers we can't even use and now have to figure out a plan B by 11 am. They did not keep. Waste of money in my opinion. Difficult to say if I would recommend because in truth I don't know why they wilted when I followed instructions. Very disappointing. read more

I'm sorry to have to be so negative, but I must be honest. Warning to everyone who isn't in the floral business!! Do not go here for flowers. It is a shameful rip off. There is one small refrigerated section for retail flowers. The prices are astronomical. One bunch of flowers in general are $35 and up for 5-10 stems. I'm just dumbfounded. I bought nothing. I went back to my Trader Joe's and got ELEVEN bunches of beautiful flowers for a total of $70. At AZ Flower that's what you'll pay for TWO bunches. I cannot figure out how this Yelp listing has such high ratings. Maybe it's a good place for Wholesale? Or maybe people don't know you can buy a bunch of flowers elsewhere for under $10.? Spent $300 and was able to get enough flowers and greenery to make a flower garland for a wedding arch, all the flowers for the wedding party and the bride, and all the centerpieces. The staff here are all super nice and offered advice on my plans. They made sure I had enough flowers and greenery for everything I was going to make. The staff in the flower section were helpful and looked for more flowers for me that they hadn't put out yet. They also have a wide selection of ribbon, floral tape, blocks, bases and another section for green plants that I didn't have time to go see. There are long tables on the side where you can actually put your pieces together in the store and the staff will help you if you need it. I'm so glad I found this shop to get all my wedding flowers from. Definitely recommend for any floral needs. read more
