Extremely pleased with my flower delivery from Tatum Flowers for Mother's Day! In the past, when a different (national brand) florist attempted to deliver flowers to this same address, we ended up losing the bouquet for several hours ... which is just not the hassle you want to have when dealing with fresh cut flowers. That kerfuffle also ruined the surprise ... which is part of the fun of having flowers delivered for someone! Therefore, I knew I wanted to go local for Mother's Day, and Tatum Flowers was highly recommended on Yelp. Placing the order was simple -- it was around $120 for one of their beautiful arrangements, and a Friday delivery. The flowers arrived right on time, in perfect condition, and I didn't have to communicate with the delivery folks at all after placing my order (which is a win after our last experience!) If I could give this florist 10 stars I would! I am very particular about the florists I use in a day when few people send flowers ("mom you're the only one who sends flowers..."). This florist did not disappoint and has now been added to my list in the Scottdale area where my daughter's MIL lives. We all lost someone very important in our family in December 2021. It was so unexpected and so heartbreaking. I called Tatum's and told them why I was sending flowers (I live in CA) and the young woman on the other end of the phone was more than kind and emphathetic. This is a very highly ranked flower shop. Unfortunately, our experience was not acceptable. We ordered a stunning tropical arrangement for $115 as shown in the first photo. The next day the shop called to let us know that they didn't have all of the flowers we purchased and said they would substitute equivalent quality flowers. The second photo shows the display we received, which appears quite pedestrian compared to what we purchased. If they don't have the flowers displayed on the website, they should note that the particular display is not available at this time or provide something that is equivalent or better. read more

I threw away what was dead and was left with 4 tulips that I had to transfer into a different jar. I didn't want to complain to my husband, because it was a nice gesture and the thought that counts. So instead I left a poor review here on Yelp. The business ended up calling my husband about my complaint, making it more awkward because I hadn't complained to him. I think it would have been a bit more professional to reach out to me here, rather than calling the sender. Although I do understand and appreciate that they were trying to fix the problem.
